Oh absolutely 💯, worth every penny cant wait to so it again highly recommended for privacy, adventure, kayak fun, fishing, snorklling, or just chilling in a nice beach which is 8minutes drive from the house .

Fantastic location- right on the beach, with stunning views. Short walk up to an amazing lookout of the entire bay. Great information on getting to and from Cathedral Cove. Facilities were clean, neat and tidy. Able to use the BBQ with ease. Missed out on the hot tub, but we only had one night there.

This is the second time I have stayed here. I felt like after the first time, that there was still so much to do! The location is fabulous! Walking out into the garden then directly into a beautiful estuary. I've used their kayaks twice now going up a lazy river, so beautiful! The accommodations inside are nice too: clean with HVAC system. And of course the hosts were super lovely and helpful

This place was tranquil and sufficient for our needs. We loved the stereo and CDs, the views, and the surrounding animals. The kitchen is 'rustic' and has no oven. Dining at Luke's Kitchen nearby was awesome. The Matarangi track is difficult but worth the hike (a walking stick helps). Our hostess left comprehensive instructions and sightseeing tips.

My friend and I had the most wonderful stay at Ngarumu Bay, just 9 km out of Thames. Coro was an absolutely amazing host—so friendly, welcoming, and easy to chat with. Her place was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The views were stunning, and Coro went out of her way to give us great local recommendations that really made our trip special. We felt right at home and genuinely didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful spot with a lovely host!

Excellent stay and absolutely breathtaking view! Vi elskede hver en stund på dette dejlige sted, hvor du har fuldstændig panoramaudsigt over bjergene og havet. Vi blev vækket af den smukkeste solopgang og fuglesang hver morgen og nød at sidde på den store terrasse og kigge ud over landskabet. Lejligheden er underetagen af huset med en lille have, som ligger privat og ugenert. Det er hyggeligt og som at bo i nogens sommerhus. Det er et must at have bil, så du kan køre til byen, indkøb, restauranterne og de fantastiske strande. Jane var super hjælpsom, og vi var taknemmelige for adgangen til vaskemaskinen. Tak for et vidunderligt ophold, vi kommer meget gerne tilbage!

Had a lovely stay despite the terrible weather we had. Linda was very accomodating. We loved all the little touches - fresh flowers, yummy breakfast and Easter eggs. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again 😊

We loved staying at Jessica and Ray’s place. It was so clean and tidy and great value for money. Super close to town that you could walk. My husband and I loved every minute of it. Thank you Jess and Ray, we will definitely stay with you again if we are in town ❤️

Wir waren 5 Nächte in der Unterkunft. Sie ist wirklich schön gestaltet und man kommt zu Fuß schnell in das kleine Zentrum und an den Strand. Auch die Fähre ist fußläufig erreichbar (ca. 30 min), mit der man nach Whitianga fahren kann. Der Ort ist dann deutlich größer. Jede Unterkunft hat einen eigenen Stellplatz und das ganze Gelände ist äußerst ansprechend. Gerne wieder, vielen Dank für die schönen Tage.

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon and loved Yvonne’s space! She was the most wonderful host, going above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent stay. The unit was clean, well-appointed, and relaxing. We are hoping to return in the future and can’t say enough good things!

It was such a pleasure to stay with Joy on a weekend from Auckland. She is incredibly proactive host and added a few little sweet touches I didn’t expect: - when I have arrived she made some scones for me to enjoy. - on a rainy day offered to use her bbq cover to protect my motorcycle from rain. Appreciate your care and kindness! I felt right at home in the place and enjoyed it despite rainy weather most of the time I was there. Will definitely come back.

We had a fantastic one-night stay at this cozy cabin! The space was warm, inviting, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was cooking dinner on the provided BBQ and enjoying it on the deck—such a perfect way to take in the beautiful view and peaceful surroundings. Lawrence was a wonderful host, warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Great summer venue particularly, clean & comfortable. Jane turned the heat pump which was much appreciated as the cooler nights have arrived. If next event up this way I'll be back. Disappointed Sam (cat) did not visit! Little kitchen was great.

We had an amazing time in Matarangi - Jaine’s place is perfect as a base for exploring the area. Jaine and Ken are amazing hosts, giving us lots of tips for the area and taking the time to chat with us whenever we were around. The room is private from the rest of the house, spacious and the bed is very comfy and shower pressure strong. Matarangi and the surrounding area is just beautiful and lots to explore. We will be back!

This airbnb was just fabulous. Loved how the staffs were friendly and very joyful. There's a swimming pool and a hot tub which was the cherry on the cake. Loved how it's at the end of the road and it's very quiet. Parking was very convenient as it was next to the room. Absolutely loved everything!

L’appartamento è bellissimo e dotato di tutti i comfort necessari, tutto è ben curato e pulito, la cucina e il bagno sono molto moderni. Lo spazio esterno è una bomba e la jacuzzi è perfetta. Dave è sempre stato super gentile, reattivo e estremamente disponibile. Inoltre l’alloggio, essendo in una posizione strategica, ha una vista eccezionale. Le foto non rendono giustizia a questo splendido appartamento.

Great place to stay - exactly as described in listing and toasty warm. Very clean and tidy. Beds comfy with nice linen. Genevieve has created a lovely comfortable atmosphere. Great supply of interesting books to browse through and plenty of board games for kids and adults. Great to have washing machine and dryer available. Genevieve very helpful with booking queries. Very happy to recommend to future guests.

The apartment was very comfortable and the yard very enjoyable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. If you need something ask for it, that's how we were able to use their beach chairs. They even supplied shovels for Hot Water Beach. Having use of a bbq is always a bonus. It's a long walk to the town centre but if you have a car it's a great location.
