Thalgarrah : locations de vacances

The house was ideal for a private and tranquil getaway. The views were spectacular and loved watching the sky change with varying weather. Couldn’t take enough photos! Good base for Dorrigo NP and not too far from Ebor Falls and Cathedral Rocks. Spent the days doing breathtaking hikes and evenings recovering in peaceful surroundings. Would love to stay again.

The Cockatoo Cabin was a wonderful location for our short stay. Situated right on the creek, the sound of the falls off the balcony is amazing. We used Dorrigo as a base for a day trip to Coffs Harbour and I may never stay at the coast again! Dangar falls are just up the road, a beautiful spot for sightseeing and a swim, we visited the rainforest centre for a walk and lunch and did some trout fishing in the creek that runs through the town. The cabin had everything we needed and then some extras, was warm and cozy for me and my two teenagers. There is no phone service at the cabin but good service just up the road, great for switching off. Also, as the listing states, there are a few sets of steps to get down to the cabin so only good for able bodied people. It is definitely worth the walk though!

As an AirBnB host myself, I was overwhelmed by Fay's generosity and genuine care. Fay really wanted us to feel at home and be comfortable. The 'cabin' was more of a home with really lovely touches added to enhance an already delightful property. A delightful stay with wonderful local recommendations which exceeded expectations. Thank you Fay, we really loved our stay. I trust the rains finally managed to find you.

As advertised and perfect for a drop in gravel ride!

we waited out the cyclone at annabelles place and it was just perfect. the view was so pretty and serene and the house very comfortable. we also treated ourselves to Annabelles home cooked meal which was totally delicious! and also the home made caramels...yum! thanks for a great stay

Lovely cottage, clean, stocked with home baked bread and biscuits , milk, farm eggs, bacon, tea coffee etc. Great view, lots of bird life. Very high standard of linen. And unusually, lots of fire wood , Thanks Gwen.

We had a great time. The house was beautifully renovated. Best hot shower I’ve had in ages!! Location was great. Close to the National Transport Museum and a Pioneer Village. Grandkids loved both of those. Victoria Park was also a hit. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Host thoughtfully had brochures from a range of local eateries, sightseeing tips, etc. all in a great welcome binder with clear instructions for exit as well. Would an absolutely recommend. Will definitely be back.

My stay at Birdsong was exactly what I needed, a peaceful retreat from the noise and busyness of life. Nestled in the cabin it was warm and cosy, perfect for watching the falling rain and listening to the birds. It had every convenience that I needed, and the gumboots were definitely welcomed. A daily swim in the river was also a highlight, especially knowing that there was a hot shower and a cosy blanket waiting at the end. I finished a few books that I’d been procrastinating with, and enjoyed lots of journalling, reflection and prayer. Thoroughly looking forward to staying again. Thank you Judy and Martin, what a little piece of heaven you have created.
