A Slice of Paradise – Five Stars All Around! We had the most incredible time staying at this large and stunning villa in the Loutraki/Chania area. The property is nothing short of breathtaking, with lush, beautifully maintained gardens and crystal-clear water right at your doorstep. The direct beach access was a dream—so easy and convenient—and we spent countless hours floating in the calm sea and enjoying the serene, quiet atmosphere. The views from every direction were spectacular, making it hard to leave the villa! The villa itself is exquisite, with a spacious, well-designed area for cooking and relaxing. It’s the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Demetrios, our host, went above and beyond, offering incredible hospitality and even surprising me with a birthday cake, which made our stay all the more special. If you’re looking for a tranquil, beautiful retreat this is the place!

We had a great stay at Villa Solaris. The outdoor area was fantastic, including a heated pool and BBQ with several outside seating areas. There were also lovely views of the nearby mountains towards Lake Kournas. The villa was well stocked with fruit, veg and other basic ingredients on arrival, which was very welcome. Our hosts - Giannis and Stelios - were very responsive and hospitable. They greeted us on arrival and throughout our stay, and even left us with some raki and olive oil at the end. We would recommend having a car for easy access to Chania and Rethmyno, as there are not a lot of nice tavernas / shops within walking distance. However, there is a relatively well stocked supermarket approx. 10 min walk away.

Atemberaubende Aussicht! Das Haus ist nagelneu, es entspricht genau den abgebildeten Bildern. Der Pool ist sehr groß & tagsüber gibt es einen perfekten Mix aus sonnigen und schattigen Plätzen. In der Nähe gibt es viele kleine Tavernen, man musste nie weit fahren. Ganz klare Empfehlung für diese Villa, sie ist perfekt & wir würden jederzeit liebend gerne wiederkommen!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit im Haus. Sehr erholsame und ein idealer Ort um fie Umgebung zu erkunden. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und es fehlte uns an nichts. Etwas zu Knabbern und zu Trinken war auch schon vorhanden. Das Meer nur gerade einen Katzensprung entfernt. Zu Fuss einkaufen, Restaurant besuchen und es hat sogar eine Bushaltestelle. Sprich, man könnte auch ohne, Mietwagen reisen. Ideal für Reisende die dem Trubel entkommen möchten. Top Herzlichen dank an Hannah und den Hausbesitzer.

Tout simplement le plus beau Air Bnb que je n’ai jamais fait ! Un villa d’architecte, des espaces immenses et somptueux, une décoration extrêmement travaillée, des vues à couper le souffle, tout simplement luxueux au possible. Evi est été parfaite , huile d’olive locale, miel et marmelade homemade en cadeau de bienvenue. Mention spéciale pour le jacuzzi et le home cinéma. Un séjour hors du temps. Le prix est effectivement très élevé mais la prestation est d’un standing sans équivalent !

Everything was fine. The house is very big, with a nice modern design and cosy at the same time. The communication with both Giorgios and the owner was fantastic. We felt very comfortable, no neighbours and quiet. The house is about 5-10 minutes from Rethymno. The pool and garden are large and very usable.

We spent 10 nights at Joanna villa as a family of four, including two teenagers and had a great time. The villa was perfect for us, both indoors and out. We spent a lot of time around the pool and cooked on the bbq frequently which met all our needs. The hosts Alexandra and Leftaris are wonderful and it’s very apparent that they love what they do and are very good at it. They were readily available for anything we needed including local recommendations whilst being invisible, affording us privacy. They are generous, friendly and kind making us feel at home straight away. Leftaris is a skipper and provided us with lots of expert and local knowledge when we hired a boat for the afternoon. The nearest beach is within walking distance where we ate out on a couple of evenings with beautiful sunsets. We would highly recommend both the villa and the hosts.

Good bits. The villa was outstanding, as described & the photo's don't lie! Pool is amazing as are the views. The villa & grounds spotlessly clean & spacious. Plenty of outdoor furniture. Nikos provided a lovely welcome pack, inc Oat milk as requested. He also gave us some good recommendations for ordering in (efoods app was great & better than trying to use the oven & utensils). The beds were very comfortable. We had a problem with the jacuzzi, but Nikos's father was there to sort it out within the hour! Can't fault the service or friendliness. We were a family party of 10 with an age range of 17 to 61. Not so good bits. Not enough plug sockets in the bedrooms & no window covering on the upstairs master bathroom. The cats! They drive you mad, they meow constantly & try to get indoors, you can't leave the doors open (problem when half the party love them & feed them!!! but the other half don't like cats). Taxi's expensive. Overall, would thoroughly recommend & return.

Villa Penelope is a beautiful place where you can spend a great time in a large group. Especially the outdoor area with a large pool is outstanding, the view over the sea is unique. Giorgos was always available within a very short time. We were even able to get to the villa earlier upon request. You need a car for activities or grocery-shopping. Thanks for everything, we would definitely come back!

This was our second visit to Daphnis Villas as we enjoyed 2 years ago. Maria is an extra sweet and very accommodating host. She took care of us anytime that we needed anything. She responded very quickly and made it feel like home to us. I would not recommend staying anywhere else.

We stayed at the villa with the whole family, 12 people including 3 kids and a newborn. The place is stunning and peaceful in the middle of olive trees and Mediterranean vegetation. The house was spacious and clean (George came twice in one week to clean the house and replace the sheets) and the garden and pool made it possible for us to enjoy the stay despite the very warm July. Awesome place!

We, two families of four, have had the pleasure of staying in the Cretan luxury villa in Gavalochori and it was truly amazing. The house had the facilities we needed and more. There’s an outdoor fireplace/barbecue where we would gather in the evenings after coming home from dinner while the kids would have fun in the lighted and heated pool. In the mornings we would get bread in the local bakery and eat at the up stairs terrace with the most beautiful view of mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. We had the luxury of having this place to ourselves which gave us the peace and privacy we needed. We rented a car for the week in order to go on trips if we felt adventurous. Maria, the host, was excellent in sending tips for places to go every morning and if we had any questions or problems, she would reply instantly and take care to contact the right people. Gavalochori is the most charming village only five minutes (charming) walk through the narrow streets with two very nice tavernas. We had dinner at Aris Mari every day. The owner, Anastasia, cooks with love and the place is small, cozy and authentic. We are definitely coming back to this heavenly place.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and private villa with a truly spectacular ocean view. The perfect setup for our extended family (6 adults and 2 small children), offering plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The bedrooms were comfortable with en suite bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook at home. The kids especially loved the pool and all the toys available. We enjoyed local meals at Maxis Yard (a charming spot in the nearby village with pottery and homemade food) and Fisalida, which has a stunning ocean view. Both within walking distance. Grocery shopping was easy with both Lidl and the village shops close by. Our host went above and beyond—meeting us for check-in during Easter holiday and even doing grocery shopping for us beforehand as everything was closed. He surprised us with homemade dinner of delicious moussaka and Greek salad, which made us feel so welcomed. We left feeling relaxed and very tempted to return one day.

The owners were great always on hand and responded very quickly - they arranged car hire and food delivery for our arrival. Would highly recommend this property especially if you like it private - it’s a great location to travel around due to close proximity to main roads to explore along the coast or go down to the south of the island. Would recommend you hire a vehicle, there is a Lidl 5 mins away and the main town is just around 10 mins. This would be ideal for family with older children as there is a great pool and plenty of activities ie pool table / table tennis table. The property was extremely clean with plenty of towels and lovely basket with some fruit / wine on arrival - great hosts and property….

We - a family of four - had a great week in this superb villa. The place looks as described and as captured on the photos. The garden is truly amazing and radiates a really relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed watching the birds flying over the pool and drinking from it. The villa is very well maintained and equipped with everything you need. Peter and Georgia are great hosts. They were always very helpful and very responsive and made sure everything was going well. The pool is especially nice. Even though we had a bit more than 20 degrees Celsius during the day, we were really happy about the fact that it was heated and nicely warm. The whirlpool section is an additional highlight. All in all, super nice place, great hosts and no question that this is a five star place.

Wonderful villa in great location for family Holliday. Facilities were great and as described. The garden is beautiful and adds to the feeling of the outside space. Good shade and sun spots in the garden at all times of day. We had a lovely time exploring the local area as well as going further afield to explore Create to the full. Lots of lovely walks possible from the villa and the local beaches perfect for low key family beach safe for kids. The bedrooms were all lovely especially the master beadroom with beautiful balcony. Host was fantastic at communication and helped us with any questions we had responding promptly and efficiently to any difficulties. Would highly recommend.

The villa is a most beautiful place for a relaxed family vacation. Quiet, spacious and with all the amenities for a relaxed stay. The next town is nearby, only a few minutes away by car. The local support is excellent, very friendly, very responsive and alert. All in all, a very recommendable place.

Villa Arietta is a dream house. Located in the beautiful hills just outside Kissamos, 10 mins by car from the sea. The house is marvelous and has all the comforts you need to enjoy a perfect holiday. We were two couples with one toddler and a baby and both indoor and outdoor spaces were perfect for our needs. Also, thoughtful little touches like a welcome hamper with local products, and numerous amazing toys for the kids to use in the garden. Arietta and her husband have been extremely helpful and accommodating throughout, and communication has always been quick and proactive. We loved our stay and we really hope to come back again. Definitely recommended, one of the best places we’ve been to!

Très bon séjour que nous recommandons pour 4 personnes dans un petit village typique crétois magnifique maison où il ne manque rien une maison qui a un vécu. Super jardin avec une cuisine d’été une deuxième douche ,un vrais barbecue en dur. La. piscine est un plaisir bien orienté très bien entretenu avec une eau non agressive. Un mobilier extérieur répondant à tout les besoin pour l’ombre ou le soleil Literie très confortable chambres spacieuses et rangements plus que suffisant. Place de parking devant la maison. Que du positif pour un séjour paisible sans soucis

Wir haben die Zeit in der Sea View White Villa sehr genossen. Die Lage ist ein Traum. 15 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt, direkt am Strand. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es mehrere gute Restaurants. Die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Pool kann auf Wunsch etwas geheizt werden, sodass man auch schon früh in der Saison vollen Badespaß hat. Der Whirlpool lädt zum entspannen ein. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit zwei Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern ideal für 3-4 Personen. Stravros war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gab kleine Leckereien zur Begrüßung und wir fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Rundum ein toller Urlaub, Danke nochmals!

We stayed as a family of four for a week. The villa consisted a main floor with a modern, clean and well equipped kitchen, a comfortable sitting/dining room with lovely views over souda bay and towards chania. A large jacuzzi bath was also off the sitting area. The rest of this floor was three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a shower/ tub combo and the other a wetroom style. A further bedroom/ shower room was on the floor below via an outside staircase as well as a well equiped gym. The outside area was expansive and enough for our boys to run around. The villa also had a number of indoor and outdoor games for the boys to enjoy. But a lot of our time was spent in the heated pool! Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The villa was very clean, comfortable with stunning hilltop views. The location was close to the airport, local resturants and shops and we had food delivered to us a number of times. A special point was the kindness and helpfulness of our hosts, thank you!

Alex was an amazing host right from booking. He’s super friendly & reply’s quickly to any questions. We had the warmest welcome on check in & the property is beautiful, with gorgeous & peaceful surroundings. You have all the utensils & cutlery you need for cooking, Alex was always on hand if we needed any help with anything. I will 100% be going back & it’s not something I often do so that says a lot about Alex & his property. Highly highly recommend this place.

Trotz anfänglicher technischer Probleme mit dem Haus verdient es definitiv die 5 Sterne. Da das Badezimmer recht klein ist, ist dieses Haus ideal für kleine Familien mit Max 2 Kindern oder einzelne Paare. Wenn man es abgeschieden und sehr ruhig mag, ist man hier genau richtig. Das Grundstück mit großem Pool ist sehr schön angerichtet und gepflegt. Die Eigentümer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wer also einen ruhigen, entspannten Urlaub verleben möchte den können wir das Haus super empfehlen. Ein Auto ist muss, da Strände und Städte in 15–20 min erreicht werden können. Wir hatten ein schöne Zeit.
