Cosy, double room in artist’s house.

We are NOT in the city of York, but a separate town 9 miles away, just to clarify. We moved to this characterful house in Tadcaster 5 years ago, slowly renovating with a ‘Fawlty Towers’ vibe. This double room is in the attic so feels cosy, but with dual aspect original sash windows is bright and airy too. It’s the smallest of our rooms so ideal for a quick stop over but has hanging space, tea & coffee and tv and the use of our newly fitted shower room. This room isn’t suitable for large dogs.

Good bus route to the Centre and the Station. Suitable for couples/solo guests.

Cosy , sunny, welcoming room with free parking.

Nice, sunny, light room, for comfortable stay .Room is not very huge, but cozy. Not far from city center of beautiful York 20 min walk and you are at Walmgate, or 5 min by bus, In summer nice garden, in winter warm fireplace. I love experience, and I am very happy when guests say that they feel like at home. . we are welcoming guests with dogs. I have 2 labradors myself . Sorry if you find some pet hair, Coco and Bonnie live here. Our house is in quit area, no main road.
