We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! A great location and the perfect base for visiting family. Ross was a great host and communication was brilliant. He even went the extra mile to ensure we had a travel cot for our little girl. We also really appreciated the bottle of wine and homemade cakes when we arrived. We'll definitely stay again!

Wonderful accomodation with fantastic host, always responded quickly and resolved any queries - would recommend to anyone looking for a countryside getaway in reach of Dublin

Logement pratique et parfaitement aménagé dans un coin tranquille. Propreté impeccable et petites attentions à l’intention des voyageurs. Logement attenant à la résidence de la propriétaire, mais elle est d’une discrétion absolue. Nombreuse randonnées et visites possibles à proximité.

Das Haus hat eine unglaublich schöne Lage. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. Das Haus ist super eingerichtet. Besonders praktisch waren die Steckdosen mit USB-Anschlüssen in jedem Raum. Bei Fragen wurde uns umgehend geholfen. Wir hatten eine richtig schöne Zeit. Wir waren mit 5 Erwachsenen dort und hatten Platz und Komfort. Es war fast schade, dass unsere Kinder schon zu groß waren, um die Spielmöglichkeiten rund um das Haus richtig zu genießen. :-) Die Bus-Zug-Verbindung nach Dublin hat uns tolle Ausflüge ermöglicht. Die Leap Visitor Card ist günstig und ermöglicht ein gemütliches Fahren rund um Dublin. Der Lebensmittelladen "Grogans Shop" unten im Ort ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen und hat alle grundlegenden Dinge. Aber Achtung: es gibt keine Preise an den Waren. Der Verkäufer hat sich dann beim Kassieren ein äußerst großzügiges Trinkgeld gegeben! -> wir sind dann lieber mit dem Bus nach Donabate in den Supermarkt gefahren.

The space was absolutely spotless and comfortable. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. I would highly recommend!

We had a very relaxing weekend in Ruth's lovely cottage, right by the beach on the edge of Wicklow town. The house was cozy and clean, had everything we needed for the weekend, and was in a nice walkable location. We were very comfortable there. In the evenings we left the car at home and walked into town to the pubs and restaurants, of which there are plenty. Wicklow town has some lovely walks, and of course there is the walk all along the seafront with a small beach for a quick seaswim if you wish. Ruth was friendly and responsive, and all the instructions she left for things like wifi and using the hobs were clear. This is definitely a spot I would stay in again.

I honestly cannot say enough on this beautiful spot - From the moment we arrived, both Heidi and Michael went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome. Communication was clear and prompt, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of — Michael made the most amazing soda bread and left us some snacks on arrival too! The property itself was even better than the photos: I’d highly recommend bringing dinner/ lunch on arrival as once you get there, you won’t want to leave! You’re surrounded by the most beautiful views and immersed in nature. What truly set this experience apart was the host’s genuine hospitality. Both Michael and Heidi are some of the kindest people you’ll meet.They were accommodating, and full of great local recommendations that made our trip unforgettable. They’re the type of people you’ll have a braai with. We felt very lucky to have such incredible hosts. We will absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier get away! ❤️

Had a great stay for 3 nights. Everything was as mentioned in the listing, but the photos don’t really capture the amount of space you have at your disposal. The views from the apartment are great and everything you need is within walking distance. I recommend Little Richard’s Pizza, Gerry’s Fresh Foods and Stoop Your Head (seafood restaurant on the front). Valerie left some scones, bread and milk which was very appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked and was a joy to cook in. The heating was set for certain times so we didn’t have to worry about being cold, and it was especially nice turning up on the first day to a warm place. I would defintely return to Skerries and rent Valerie’s place again.
