My group had such a wonderful experience at this home. The photos do the house no justice, when you walk in and around the property it’s truly a beautiful home and surrounding area. 10/10 would recommend!

I've stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this one was the best stocked and the best for entertaining of all the places I've stayed. We in town for a competition. My son wanted us to rent this house because it looked like it would be a great option for hosting his teammates and friends while we were in Alabama. He was so right! We had visitors stop by four of the five nights we were there, including one night where we hosted the entire team. (Note: I asked and received permission for the 10+ families to have dinner there and volunteered that we wouldn't be drinking alcohol.) Every single parent gushed over the facilities. The kids had a blast. We used the grill, the pool, the fire pit, the kitchen and the various seating areas. It was such a fun night! Also, I really appreciated that the hosts trusted that their guests will treat their property well. Everything in the bathroom and kitchen were so well stocked.

We were coming together as a family to celebrate my father’s life. This place gave 11 of us plenty of private spaces to rest but also many areas to all come together for food and conversation: kitchen table, screened back porch with porch swing, ample back yard with fire circle, and boat dock for laying in the sun, basement man cave with wall screen. We enjoyed walking in the beautiful neighborhood. I would love to return year after year with my family. Beautiful in the spring! Flowering azaleas and dogwoods. Clean and beautiful.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rustic Elegance. The setting is beautiful beyond description, and it is worth waking up early for the sunrises over the lake. We were lucky to see a Barred Owl perched on a stump just off the patio, and enjoyed watching the herons, cranes, eagles and osprey feeding on the lake each day. The house was well appointed, and worked out perfectly for our family. The spa like feel made us wish we could stay longer. We hope to return in future years when traveling to this area!

This property is beautiful and had so many extras. Yall thought of everything and it made our stay extra special. We enjoyed hosting our family here for Thanksgiving. My fiance came down for Talladega and he and his friends enjoyed Lauren's place so much! It was exactly as described, clean, Lauren was a great communicator, the neighbors were nice, and the porch was their favorite part! They even got to fish a little off the dock during their downtime and really enjoyed it. We will definitely consider this location again if they go back to Talladega! Thank you Lauren!

This place was perfect for our weekend getaway. The cottage in comfortable and had everything we needed. The location and grounds were picture perfect. I wish we had a boat to take full advantage of the dock and gorgeous lake, but it was still a peaceful place to rest up.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed ourselves very much! We originally chose a cabin for our stay! Upon arrival, Dusty greeted us and explained where everything was! We got to our cabin to find an unexpected water leak! Dusty quickly checked it out and placed us in one of his yurts! Honestly we ended up being glad it happened as it did the yurt was really nice! It’s a very beautiful peaceful place! Everyone is respectful to other visitors! We were really impressed with the whole set up and all the hard work dusty has put in to allowing others to be able to enjoy his space! Perfect little get away close to home! We will definitely be returning to stay again!

Let me tell yall, out of all the places we've stayed at throughout the country, Maggie's place is our favorite so far. If you like the private, cozy, homey vibe, definitely stay here. We spent my birthday here, and the kitchen was big enough and we'll stocked enough to cook every meal plus hide a surprise birthday cake made for me. The bedrooms were nice and cozy with a bunch of pillows comfy beds. The bathrooms were clean and we'll stocked. Our favorite area of the house is the screened porch. It was so relaxing to sit on and just listen to the rain. Last but not least, the creek access. My bestie and I were there every morning, coffee in hand, and enjoying the water. It's refreshing during the warm humid days. Thank you so much, Maggie, for allowing us to stay at your lovely house! We had the best time!! Side note: Yall make sure to bring bug spray for the mosquitos and ticks!

Location was amazing! The house was very clean. The host was very responsive and checked in everyday! The view of the water from the house was fantastic to wake up to! The access to a dock was fantastic great for fishing or just sitting by the water. Boat rental available! The house was as pictured no bad surprises. Great home to relax and unwind.

We felt at home when we walked in. It was super comfortable. We enjoyed cooking and eating breakfast and dinner at the house!

This place was absolutely amazing! I stayed for two nights for my birthday and I definitely plan to book again! The water is so peaceful and relaxing, and it’s just the right distance away to make you feel like you’re secluded but you don’t have to go far for anything’

Great rustic charms. Very happy with the house and will consider using again next time we travel down there. WiFi worked super well. The kitchen was appointed well enough we cooked dinner nightly. Overall very happy.
