This place is absolutely gorgeous! We used the space for our wedding weekend and to get ready for the wedding. Denise was amazing. She was very communicative! She popped in and said hi and also added some cute little decorations. It was very clean and tidy. Check in and checkout were both super easy as well.

This was a lovely and hip rental right on Main Street. The view of the river was beautiful. The place had been restored from its past lives thoughtfully and beautifully. The whole family loved it! The master bedroom had blackout curtains and a firm mattress. The other bedrooms and loft upstairs all had bright skylights with no coverings, so that is something to keep in mind if you plan on sleeping in and are sensitive to light. All mattresses were medium firm to firm.

WOW this place was amazing! The check-in and check-out process was easy and the home was so nice and clean. We had a group of 12 stay here for a bachelorette weekend and there was more than enough space for us all. I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough!

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's home! The home was so spacious and well equipped - perfect for our group of 8 adults. Sarah was very communicative and responsive. We really enjoyed the beautiful views of the property - the hot tub was also a bonus! We also did the short drive to Stillwater for shopping and restaurants.

Our family had a mini getaway and it was the perfect spot! The sauna and hot tub were incredible! The kids LOVED the theater room. Such a great place for families. Thank you for being a great host!

Our family really enjoyed our stayed. My teenagers that are hard to please asked to come back. The basketball court was the cherry on top. They were there all day and night. The home is very spacious, clean and has everything you need to feel at home. It’s conveniently located close to the highway and by a great Mexican restaurant. Can’t wait to visit again!

We chose The Otter Creek Inn for large accommodations privacy. beautiful grounds , convenient location. perfect hosts and we were not disappointed. Above and beyond. Pristine house. Plenty of coffee. great locations. We also recommend The Altoona Family restaurant only .5 miles away. Also 5 star. We were a party of 10 .All were very happy here.. We'd return in a heartbeat. Lovely, friendly hosts.

We had a women’s retreat here and it easily accommodated the needs of all of us, from space to do yoga to intimate space for conversation and connection. The views of the lake were gorgeous, the hot tub with a view of the lake was amazing, the sleeping spaces were perfect (memory foam mattresses?! 😍) and the welcome gifts from the hostess were so sweet!

The views out the front windows were probably the best part of this place. I LOVED waking up in the morning to see the river, flocks of various kinds of birds, barges and the occasional train. We had all the amenities we needed, plenty of beds (we had 6 teen girls that LOVED being able to sleep in the same room upstairs with the twins and rollaway), and although there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, there there are plenty of options for cute towns and lots of hiking nearby. We chose to go into Winona and do the Sugar Loaf hike, then got ice cream and shopped in town. After checking out, we hit Stockholm, WI, which was also enjoyable. Everyone in our crew loved this place. Greg was super responsive (and patient with me asking about the Wifi...I realized later it was already in his instructions). Great experience!

The place was just what it said it was. It was clean, she had fun snacks and drinks for us. Every thing you need is right there and more. She communicated well with me. It was so easy to check in and out. Love it and highly recommend for girls get away.

Jason’s home was perfect for my family of 7 to stay. The house has a lot of different rooms and spaces yet still feels open. I really appreciated the fenced in yard for my dog, the huge kitchen that was great for cooking, and the comfortable beds. I especially liked the view outside from the living room — it felt very private and secluded. Check out was a breeze, and the movie room was an added bonus! Jason was really responsive, and I would definitely recommend his home as a great place to stay.

This place was perfect for my family and parents while we were in town visiting my son who attends the university. We would stay again!

I loved loved this place! It was peaceful and just right for the seven of us. Maggie was an excellent host. I would love to stay here again. It is adorable and cozy with plenty of space.

Had a wonderful stay for a weekend of board games with friends. Enjoyed walking the property, meeting the horses and the friendly dogs from a nearby home. Would definitely stay here again.

Our group was celebrating my sister’s bachelorette weekend, and we could not have picked a better place or host. The place was perfect for our group and Linda has thought of everything. We stayed at the pool house for a bachelor party and it did not disappoint! Being in early April we wanted to find a unique air bnb with something to do for 12 guys and we all had a blast swimming and throwing the football around. There are a lot of amenities, floatees, board game, tennis court with rackets etc. and the host was very thoughtful in setting this up. The kitchen was very nice and well appointed, the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, and we had no issues at all. I would highly recommend this place to any group getaway!

We were a team of 5 guys doing a trade show 30 minutes away. Everything about the Big Blue House was exactly what we needed and more. We especially enjoyed the small, but active area of Downtown Balsam Lake.

Checking in to Erin's house was very easy. She is very easy to communicate with. Soon after checkin, Erin messaged us to make sure everything was in order and to see if we had any questions. The views are absolutely amazing. From the moment we booked the house I couldn't wait to enjoy coffee in the sunroom. It did not disappoint. The sunroom has heated tile floors and a small wood burning fireplace. So cozy! The pool and pinball machines were a big hit for the kids. We would definitely recommend staying here!

This is our second stay here, it is the perfect spot for our family. We loved everything about our stay. The house and the area around it is beautiful and very calming. Jaime and Christopher were the perfect hosts, checking in on us and making sure we had what we needed. I highly recommend this place, it will be our go-to spot if we are In the area.

The home was the perfect size and accommodation for our group! The view and the yard are spectacular. We all had a great time catching up. Just a couple things to note. Ubers, lyfts, and local taxis are not easily accessible, especially if you have a dinner reservation to make. The second is that you are expected to wash, dry, fold, and put away towels before check out, which we had never heard of having to do before, particularly with a higher cleaning fee. We honestly probably would have brought our own towels if we had known this. Overall we really enjoyed our time here!
