Wir haben vier Schlafzimmer gebucht und sind im Haus mit zwei Schlafzimmern und dem angeschlossenen Nebengebäude mit zwei weiteren Einheiten sehr gut mit allen Personen untergekommen. Die Unterkunft eignet sich daher auch optimal für größere Gruppen wie zum Beispiel ein Familientreffen um einige Tage in der Stadt zu verbringen und für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung.

Located in a tiny heaven-like village, Siti's place was everything we needed for a good rest and a restart. The house is gorgeous, just like on the pictures, the pool is right in front and the garden is full of plants. At the entrance it says "your home away from home" and that's exactly how we felt there - Siti's family welcomed us with open hearts. I will always remember my time at Pondok is oke.

Ericka and her husband were great hosts - they organized the Ijen Tour and even took me to the doctor to get the health certificate. The big garden with the animals and a very tasty restaurant were wonderful. Overall a great stay would recommend 100%!

I don’t even know how to properly give all the credits this place deserves Mi Casa is a lush green, fruit, garden and rice fields surrounded heaven next to a little creek. Everything is super clean, charming, calming, peaceful and beautiful while sound of the water is the perfect lullaby for a good night sleep. Rooms are well decorated and bathrooms are pretty big and clean! Erika and Marc are the best hosts you could ever wish for. They welcomed us and helped us literally with everything from transport, mt Ijen tour, health certificate and what to do in the area. We had many great talks and laughs about Indonesia, ecology, future, the world and more and we have learnt a lot! All that accompanied by their fluffiest cats :) Food is super delicious and you can arrange meal times according to your schedule + we always got extra fresh fruit. Mi Casa is a piece of paradise in the middle of jungle run by amazing people and it is even better than photos can represent. Thank you!

Lidiya has connections with many tours as well as true-to-local-life accommodations. Her home is 30 min from Ketapang Ferry. BCA good ATM for foreigners. Limit on individual transactions is 2.5 million rupiah. Lidiya trusted me & allowed me to go on the tour & stay with her an additional night even though my bank blocked my credit card. Without your her patience, trust & compassion— I wouldn’t have been able to go on the tours, nor had the means to buy food or a place to sleep for 3 days. Her cooking was delicious. I am forever grateful to her. What the room lacks in luxury, is made up with heart and thoughtfulness. She wrote down a tour itinerary. She booked train & ferry tickets using the apps KAI & Ferizy. Book train tickets in advance! Her home is an hour from Ijen. She arranged a driver for pick up/drop off. Bromo takes 4 hours (Banyuwangi > Probolinggo). Tip- Book another place closer to Bromo in Probolinggo to provide rest & recovery time to hike Bromo. Highly recommend

We loved staying here! The owners and staff were so kind, they helped us organize an Ijen tour and drove us to nearby sights. They served a beautiful breakfast each morning which is included- definitely worth the price. Their communication was great and we felt very at home. The cat Bono is so sweet, (& neighbouring cats) a great bonus.

Andrew is a super excellent host. He has a great team that supports him especially his assistant by the name Arif. Both of them team up to be an excellent host as well can assist you in planning your stays as well traveling interesting places in East Java . They planned my travel well n bring me to interesting places that i myself don’t know. If you are planning for a vacation and to have excellent stay please choose Andrew homestay.
