Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

It was our first experience with Airbnb. We were there to tour the World Headquarters for Jehovah’s Witnesses and this proved to be our evening haven. The house was well stocked as others had commented. We enjoyed relaxing and spent much time in living room with the beautiful view. It was perfect for our stay. Our thanks to our Host.

Very nice house with lots of room to relax and a well-stocked kitchen to cook. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and close to so much! When we had a question, Ellen answered with a call within minutes. She was the perfect host!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend time with our family and enjoy the Litchfield area! Perfectly clean home, beautiful property, stylish and comfortable! We had everything we needed to do some light cooking, Kevin and Jerry quickly answered questions and gave great suggestions. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This was a lovely home. Very easy getting inside. Everything was exactly as listed, pictured and described. We felt so cozy and welcomed by Susan. The house had everything you could possibly need to make your stay easy and convenient and was very clean. I had a few questions during our visit and Susan was extremely responsive and so kind. I highly recommend this home. The beds were very comfortable. Showers were very nice and had great water pressure and nice hot water. We truly felt at home and we're beyond satisfied. I highly recommend this home for anyone need of an Airbnb in the area. Lovely home and property.

We loved our stay in Calum's Airbnb! It is a short commute from NYC and conveniently located between two main areas with plenty of grocery store and restaurant options. The home itself is well equipped with an amazing kitchen and many board games - so we were always entertained.

The Farmhouse was very cozy and clean. Communication was great and Chelsea was very accommodating, as I was traveling with two small children and the schedules can be tricky. The property was beautiful and the house had everything we needed. The only thing that could be improved would be curtains in the bedrooms. As soon as the sun came up you are up. Very bright. But overall I would stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay here! The interior was beautifully designed—cozy, clean, and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed. But the real highlight was the backyard: spacious, private, and perfect for lawn games during the day and relaxing by the fire pit at night. Couldn’t have asked for a better setup for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

The penthouse was amazing. Great view of the city. The penthouse was equipped with a lot of the necessary stuff you might need. This will keep you from traveling with a lot of unnecessary items you don’t need. The beds were so freaking comfortable. I slept like a baby. Another nice touch was the champagne left for us to drink with a pleasant note welcoming us into the penthouse. I really enjoyed my stay. It was fantastic!!!

The location and comfort can’t be beat. We stayed at the professor’s flat for a full semester while I was teaching at Yale and it was perfect for a couple and a cat. We even had a couple of friends visit and stay over comfortably during that time. We truly lived in the place like it was our home, because it felt like it: it was cozy, and despite a smaller kitchen than we’re used to, it was well equipped, and we were able to cook a lot and even host dinner parties. It’s very conveniently located to everything in New Haven/the East Rock neighborhood & we walked everywhere. Also very convenient to the freeway. A parking spot was included in our rent as well. Remy, Hilary and Sal were always responsive and ready to take care of anything that needed attention. Remy also gave us and all the tenants extras like baked goods, and samples of her great Italian cooking on occasion (around the holidays). They also gave us fire logs for the fireplace we used our entire last month in town.

This is our second stay at Henry’s first floor apartment. We were in town to visit family for our grandmothers 100th birthday . The place is exactly as described and in the photos. It feels like home, extremely clean. The beds are wonderful, linens and towels are exceptional. We loved that we could bring our two small dogs and there is an area in the back for them. The covered deck was nice to sit on in the morning and have a coffee. There is a grill out back and a table on the deck for six people. There is also a lovely deck out front to sit on too. The neighbors are friendly and the place is on a quiet dead end street. On the day of check-in, Henry sent a message to say the place was ready earlier which we appreciated. We definitely recommend Henry’s place and he is a great host.

This is my 3rd stay here. I sometimes come on my own to visit my daughter at Yamaha and I pay extra per night to stay at this comfy relaxing spot so I feel at home. I have private parking, easy entry, close to downtown Yale shopping and minutes from raved Whooster Villlage. Don’t be hesitate because it is on the corner of the busy street, it allows for spreading out of family and each bedroom with own bathroom/TV sitting area. The upstairs room can get warm but use the AC unit in room and it is cool in no time! This will be my home away from home for my daughter’s next 3 years at UNH. My only suggestion is the main floor bedroom does not have King size bed but the room Itself is gorgeous! Enjoy and highly recommend this spot!

Our Christmas stay at Janice’s was perfect! My partner and I needed a place to stay while visiting family for holidays. The suite was very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed the not one but TWO gas fireplaces! Janice also had a small artificial Christmas tree in the living room which made it so festive and the perfect place for us to rest and watch Christmas movies after days with family. The bed was comfortable and had four pillows with extras in the closet along with extra blankets, an iron and board. Janice was flexible with our check in time and very friendly. The only negative we could think of was that we’d love to have a full kitchen and the suite just has a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven, but we knew that from the description and it was fine for a short stay. We’d love to stay here again. Really perfect for this trip.

Joanne greeted us when we arrived - wanted to make sure we were comfortable. She encouraged us to contact her with any questions. The apartment was clean, well equipped and spacious. We are native Long Islanders and this location was central to the family and friends we were visiting.

Went to locate a go to place for me to reset from life’s nonsense and this was the most healing environment in a peaceful cozy house.

Our second time at Hopewell Junction did not disappoint. We love this home because Anuja really understands what a guest needs and would like - so many extra touches, like beautiful linens, nice soaps and shampoos, wood for fire, lots of cookware and serving pieces, and beautiful art. Beds are comfy and towels are top notch. It snowed while we were there, beautiful, and the drive was promptly plowed. Our friends speak Danish, and they kept using the word hygge for the house. (Cosy and welcoming) We agree and will definitely be back. Thank you Anuja for another lovely stay!

Our family had a very enjoyable stay! The home and surroundings were beautiful, everything was extremely clean and organized, our host was wonderful! We absolutely loved the tea ceremony! It was very educational! We will definitely stay here again when we return to New Haven!

Our second year staying at Tony's house! All the comforts of home, with plenty of room for our family. Clean, very comfortable furnishings. Lovely, plentiful linens. The pool area and yard are fantastic! Once again, it was a pleasure to stay there. We hope to go back next year!
