Wanda was a very friendly, responsive and helpful host. When unforeseen issues with her cottage arose in the week before our arrival, she proactively helped us book a new stay in the neighborhood free of charge. It’s clear that she truly cares about giving her guests a great experience, and she went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. You are in good hands with Wanda! We really appreciated everything she did for us!

The perfect spot for a restful and relaxing vacation - This is a cozy, comfortable cabin in a woodsy setting, just right for two people. It is fresh and clean and was stocked with all the essential amenities. There is a rushing creek just behind the cabin, making the porch the perfect spot to reflect, relax and enjoy the scenery and wildlife. Story is a quaint, small town, with a general store and restaurants. If you enjoy wildlife, deer and turkeys are around every corner. Penrose Trailhead is just down the road from the cabin. It provides a beautiful hike through the Big Horn National Forest. The views are amazing. More amazing views can be seen from the Wagon Box Fight monument, not far from the cabin. Story is also conveniently located to surrounding areas. Sheraton and Buffalo are short drives. Additionally, the Montana border is about a twenty minute drive from Sheridan. The hosts were very informative and quick to respond to any questions.

We stayed six nights and had a great time. We walked everywhere in town from Darrin’s place. It’s exactly as described and well deserves all the five star reviews.

The home was well kept and exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable, and the AC worked well. Not sure how we could have asked for much more. Thank you

Unbelievable stay. Dan is the best host and very responsive. The views are unmatched. The place is large, clean and has everything you need. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

Megan’s house was great!! It was close to everything. We were in town to see our son who plays for the Sheridan Hawks and when we come to visit we love to have some of the players over for meals and this home was perfect and had the space for that!!

Very clean and well kept for an older home! So impressed!Perfect location for my parents to stay while in town visiting. Thanks so much!
