NorteHaus is a magical woodland sanctuary. From the moment we arrived, time seemed to slow down. We could hear the river and birds in the trees. The breathtaking forest views through the floor-to-ceiling windows, cozy fireplace, and outdoor sauna were highlights of our stay. Our dog Mowgli had the time of his life exploring the property, swimming in the river and he curled up contentedly by the fireplace in the evening. The hosts were responsive, thoughtful, and very accommodating. They've created something truly special at Nortehaus. Can't wait to go back!

My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Definitely give her a 5 outta 5 I will certainly stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for a airbnb in Bancroft area! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Staying here was perfect! Very private, all the appliances worked and it’s nice to see everything was clean and updated. I would definitely recommend the A-Frame to friends and will keep in mind for future getaways.

This is the third year we have stayed there. We attend a big event in town, so it is nice to come back to something cozy and comfortable. We even went down to the water for a short walk this year since there was no ice or snow.

Kelly’s place is well worth every penny. Beautiful river and huge property with a great fire pit and multiple paddle boats. Also well equipped inside with everything you need and very well kept. Felt right at home. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely time at this quaint and peaceful cabin. Although it's still by the road it was very quiet and calm. We had privacy and access to walk around the lake and the surroundings. The amenities are simple but comfortable. We would return!

Margaret seemed very nice, she left croissants in the kitchen for us to have in the morning. Overall a very cozy spot to stay and we had no issues. One thing I noticed is that there's an adjoining door that connects from her side of the building to ours and I'm not sure if it locks, maybe it does but I didn't see a lock option on my side. Anyway it still felt private and we definitely got what we paid for.

For sure, if I have to go back in Peterborough, I would rent again this lovely apartment. It has all the basics and I appreciate the quiet neighbourhood. Self entry was easy with the detailed instructions of the host. The only comment I would give to other guests is that the mattress is quite soft and a little uneven. Nevertheless, I had two very good night sleeps thanks to the quiet spot and also very good quality of bedding.

What an amazing place to sit back and relax after a big hike... enjoy the sunset on the river, cook a meal while gazing out to the beautiful waterfront, fall asleep in a cosy bed... you'll feel right at home ! Judi and Dave were kind enough to give us recommandations regarding the heavy weather, thank you for that!

I can’t say enough other than I felt like we went to our families house for the weekend. Her and her husband made us feel right at home. She had homemade brownies waiting for us and greeted us when we arrived. There was nothing missed in the way they have this set up. The most above and beyond experience with a beautiful breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here.

Our over all experience was amazing. We enjoyed the coffee delivery, accommodations,location and added perks. Bonnie helped us order a cake for my mom’s birthday, and she delivered the beautiful cake and a charcuterie board. This was such a nice added feature!! We would definitely come back.

My boyfriend and I spent two nights at Michael’s place and it was great! I feel like the photos don’t even do it full justice of how great of a place it is /size! We walked to 3 wineries and a distillery from the airbnb and they were all VERY close. Next time we want to bring or rent bikes to be able to go to the ones just a little further. We also purchased the charcuterie board and it was very tasty! Also the retrievers coming to visit us was a highlight❤️ thanks Michael, can’t wait to stay again.

David and Mimi’s place was gorgeous and had everything we needed for our stay. Great for families and kids. We enjoyed canoeing and kayaking on the private lake. They were very communicative and responsive, generous and thoughtful. We definitely recommend this place!

My friend and I stayed for a night… the house was great and in a quiet neighborhood.. felt right at home.. the room was quite spacious and the bathroom was clean and neat..we had a peaceful night stay!! Carlos was very friendly..

Beautiful, clean, spacious, well equipped, has comfy beds and is dog friendly. Make sure to bring coffee, salt and pepper, oil, hand soap, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher pods, paper towel and a hair dryer. We enjoyed the ice rink and outdoor hot tub and some snow shoe paths on the property. It's only a 20 min drive to the Bracebridge forest management centre which has well groomed cross country and snow shoe trails, no charge. We enjoyed our stay.
