Driftwood Rest was our first stop on our Tassie adventure. It was the perfect location to explore Bay of Fires and communication from the hosts pre arrival was excellent. The outdoor fire place was the highlight of the house; we loved sitting in front of the fire watching the stars as it was a clear night. The view from the lounge window was lovely. A couple of things to note for future guests - the heater in the lounge room starts blowing out cold air after a while. We eventually found that turning it off for a while fixed that issue. The house got very cold overnight. While oil heaters are provided, and work well, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving these on overnight as we were travelling with our young daughter. As a result, the house was very cold in the morning. The bed felt as though there was an electric blanket; however, there were no controls to turn it on, which is a shame as one would have been welcomed.

Beautifully laid out and perfect sized cabin for the 2 of us. Enjoyed relaxing by the fire place with a red wine. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have had the pleasure of sleeping on. The location was close enough and far enough from town. Only thing we found missing was good old scrabble, but watching the flickering of the flames in the fire place had us mesmerised in no time.

Amazing location and views. Big house with heaps of space for two families. Will be back for sure!!

We thoroughly enjoy our stay and most definitely will be back! The villa itself was beautiful, pristinely clean and had all the essentials. The location felt like you were in your own little piece of coastal paradise, however close enough with a short drive to small towns to get supplies. Thank you so much Rita for ensuring that we had everything we would need to ensure we had a such a seamless and amazing visit.

We loved staying at this cottage. It was beautifully presented, neat and tidy with all amenities that you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the stunning scenery and peacefulness. The zipline and play equipment was a welcome bonus to entertain our child. The proximity to Derby was great, and lovely to stay somewhere close by but private. Our host was helpful with local recommendations, and very responsive and friendly, even offering early check in. We would love to stay again on our next trip to the area and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property. Thank you

The Ocean Retreat is an absolute pleasure to stay at. The deck and pool overlooking the ocean is what sets this place apart, the view is breathtaking. The heated pool is a great temperature, we used it even though the weather wasn't really warm. The kitchen has great amenities and is well stocked for entertaining. Having two dishwashers and a butlers pantry is brilliant. BBQ is huge! Makes cooking for the family easy. We loved that every bedroom has it's own bathroom/ensuite, makes it great when you have 4 couples staying like we did. All the bedrooms are very spacious, plenty of room for the bassinet and stuff for our infant. The layout of the loungeroom is well considered too, the gas "woodheater" gives all the ambience of a log fire without the mess and warms the area really well. Thank you Nigel and Courtney for a fantastic stay, we hope to be back again soon!

We spent 4 nights here.The place was really clean and welcoming. We felt right at home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals here. Super handy to have the washing machine. The fact that you have access to the amenities of white sands estate was just fantastic, we played putt putt golf, swam, played tennis and checked out the cinema and had a wine tasting. We did lots of walks and watched the wildlife. I appreciated that there was a box of kids books in the bedroom. Beds were comfy. We would love to come back again, we really enjoyed ourselves. We loved our stay at this cosy cottage in Binalong Bay. It had everything we needed for a relaxed family getaway. The house was clean, comfortable, and really well set up, with a fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and lots of thoughtful touches. It had a great warm, welcoming feel and was perfect for coming back to after a day at the beach or exploring the Bay of Fires. The location was ideal, close to beautiful beaches and local walks but nice and quiet too. It was exactly what we were looking for — easy, comfortable, and stress-free. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!

Gorgeous views from the expansive deck. No dishwasher if that bothers you .it is an apartment so great for 3 guests but can accomodate 4.
