Fantastic place, beautiful surroundings. The shack was very clean and had everything that you needed. Step off the grass onto the beach. We would not hesitate to return.

We had a lovely stay - everything you could need was there and being absolute beachfront was so lovely! Super peaceful and family friendly. Stayed for 2 nights but wish we stayed for 3!

What a lovely beach house, you feel at home straight away. Kitchen well equipped, large deck for relaxing. Private and peaceful, only a couple minutes walk the beach. If you get up early enough you will be treated to beautiful sunrises whilst sipping your morning coffee. You might even get a visit from a kangaroo or two. A number of choices to stay at KI but we definitely picked the right one!

This place was even better than the photos, super clean, stylish, and in a perfect location. Loved the little touches like fresh coffee and local recommendations, it really made the stay special.

What a gem! This cute Victorian cottage is modern and comfortable inside. We loved the location as Brownlow is close to the Kingscote shops and restaurants yet on a quiet typical inner beach; weedy but great for dog walking. Lovely hosts, Sabine and Kevin. Thanks.

Fantastic views and lots of space to spend out with multi generational family. Accessible beach and pier for fishing - we caught our dinner one night. Fun to watch the 3 resident Koalas in trees across the street and local kangaroos in surrounding yards.

Thank you Jason and Halina, we had a very enjoyable Easter break in your lovely home at The Pines. We enjoyed some lovely walks along the sea front, enjoyed your comfortable outside area eating meals out there, our boys made great use of the basketball hoop! It’s definitely one we’d love to return to. Absolutely felt like home away from home. Thank you for being so hospitable and making the whole experience easy for us.

Great spot in great location. Unfortunately there were some civil works being undertaken in the boat ramp car park during our stay which meant it was quite noisey with trucks and diggers from early morning. In saying that would definitely stay again once works are complete!

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb with our family. The location is perfect, especially if you have children, as the sheltered bay was free of large waves and often felt like we had the beach to ourselves. The home was clean, well-appointed, and stocked with thoughtful supplies. The air conditioning worked exceptionally well in all the rooms, keeping us comfortable. We especially loved having dinners at the outdoor dining table while watching the stunning sunsets over the water each night. Angela was a lovely host, always responsive and happy to answer any questions we had. Such a peaceful and relaxing spot—we only wish we could have stayed longer!

Unbelievable magical beach location the pictures don’t do this amazing place justice. Everything you need incredible hidden restaurant next door in a massive Fig Tree. Port Lincoln Fishing Adventures absolutely amazing fishing charter Gavin and Alex were fantastic went home with an esky full fish . Again word don’t describe the senery breathtaking remarkable beautiful don’t do this place justice. If you have been my advice is just go … Enjoy

Absolutely loved our stay. Impeccably clean. Amazing location. Can’t wait to come back.

The absolutely perfect hideaway, exactly as Hugh, the owner, describes. The house is beautifully presented with everything top quality, but also a lot of personal touches, such as ornaments and books. A great bonus was the sheer number of bird species visiting the water dishes - we identified 21 with the help of an excellent guide book which goes with the house. Good shops and decent pub/restaurant in nearby Penneshaw.

What a stunning place! Just perfect and the sunrises and sunsets from the deck are just spectacular. We truly enjoyed our stay! Comms and check-in was smooth, the place was clean and had all the amenities listed and just loved the simple, Scandinavian design. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful views

Kirsty and Chris couldn’t be more hospitable. As more mature guests we appreciated Kirsty showing us the best way to access the path and steps down to the private beach. It was worth it to experience the sun setting and watch the resident pelican fishing in the surf. A highlight was the Kangaroos coming up to the terrace every evening to take the food left out. The property is first class. The pool area and the al fresco dining area are welcoming even though it was a little too cool to swim. The property is remote from shops etc but we stocked up beforehand and thus had no issues. We would certainly recommend Hawks Nest.

A lovely home in a great location. Space for everyone, lots to do, clean and beautiful. Quilts were of a great quality and comfy beds. We contacted Hannah during the stay and she replied promptly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

Daniel's place is a secluded gem. the quintessential Aussie beach house. The location is perfect, nestled in to the dunes just steps from the beach. The house is great. Well appointed and very comfortable. Daniel was a pleasure to deal with, am excellent host

Thank you to Sol team for very comfortable stay. Although it rained we could all spread out and do different things within the accomodation. And when the sun came out we could enjoy the beach.

Christine's place was just beautiful. Spacious and well presented. It had all the amenities that we needed and plenty of space for our large family to relax in. The view was outstanding and we were sad to leave. Christine was proactive in all of her communication and was very responsive when we required assistance. The little touches of Kangaroo Island for us to enjoy were thoughtful.

The most wonderful home! After 6 months of travel, this was the nicest place to stay and relax. Gorgeous view of emu bay. Within minutes we were driving on the beach. The outdoor shower came in handy! So relaxed and luxurious. Great kitchen including kids cutlery and plates which we much appreciated traveling with a 1yo and 3yo. The host was very helpful in providing a high chair. Also the laundry room was well equipped. All felt new and clean. Very nice outdoor area with good bbq. Watching the sunrise and sunset from this property was a treat.

Beautiful home on the ocean front. Very close to some amazing beaches. This airbnb was very spacious and felt just like home. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

Our third stay at Doyle's, and each time it feels like a home away from home. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful bush noises, modern amenities - this place has it all! So much space and plenty for everyone to do! The Starlink internet is SUPERFAST!! Thanks for that upgrade lol Special mention to Craig and Rachael, the wonderful custodians. They always go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. This time they wrote a beautiful card for us that really touched our hearts! ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic home away from home in a stunning location. Very peaceful, private, comfy and relaxing. The house had everything we needed and more, than you would expect. Super comfortable beds, we all slept very well. Michelle was great to deal with, every step of the process was a breeze. The drive on beach at Emu Bay is one of the best we have visited, and not too busy despite the hot weather and long weekend there were no crowds and it’s great to set up for the day at the beach a stones throw from the house. Lots of fish were caught by the kids off the jetty while we watched from the house deck directly across the road, we saw penguins, pelicans and wildlife galore, this truly is a remarkable house and location. Highly recommend, we enjoyed our stay so much we’re already planning another. Thanks Michelle for your hospitality it was one of the best holidays we’ve had.
