We really enjoyed our stay in Lancaster. We could easily walk into the town centre in a few minutes and it was close to the station for our friends travelling by train. The house was very comfortable and roomy. Tom the host was very responsive to our queries. The area was quite and although there was no designated parking, we found it easy to park on the street and were provided with permits. It was a great base for us to attend a friend's party and explore the local area. Compared to staying in a B&B or hotel it was great value and gave us our own space to relax.

Christine's place is exactly as described. As a large family, there was plenty of space for us all. It's a very quiet private area which was great for the dogs and children. Christine was very responsive to messages and provided a list of local activities to do!

Great location in the middle of Ulverston. Kitchen had everything we needed and when we needed to we pressed 'boost' on the heating controls and the house heated quickly. very cozy, homely house. Would recommend and stay again

Had a great stay here with our 3 year old son. Parking spot on the cobbled driveway right next door to the cottage. Cottage was clean and spacious for the 3 of us. My son enjoyed playing with the dominoes and cards in the living room. Upstairs there is a good size bathroom with shower (no bath), small bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditoner were provided as well as his and hers spray deodrant. Towels also provided. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. We stayed when it was windy and the sash window in the double room was banging in the night so we had to fold some paper and wedge it in the gap to stop the banging but apart from this the room was comfortable and cosy. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need including tea towels, washing up liquid, sponges etc. you just need some dishwasher tablets for the dishwasher.

We had a great stay at Paul’s, there were plenty of amenities which created a homely environment. Paul is very responsive and any help we needed he was always very quick to respond. The house is perfectly located, plenty nearby including supermarkets and traditional pubs. Would definitely return!

The place was beautiful and very welcoming . It felt like home almost immediately. It's located in a very private setting and we loved the river at the back of the property. We had a few teething issues to begin with as we had a wasps nest outside and the occasional power outage when the switch tripped on the fuse box but the host, Cheryl, was very quick to respond and helped resolve things straight away. She even offered to give us an extra day for free but because we had work the next day the option of a late checkout instead was very welcome. I would highly recommend this place and Cheryl was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Cheryl!

Ben’s place was nice and well equipped for our stay. Location is good just a few minutes from pubs and restaurants in the town. Ben also communicated well, would stay again.

We stayed with our Rottweiler for my partners birthday and exceeded our expectations. Spotless lodge, thoughtful layout and safe for dogs, the snacks were also a really nice touch, perfect stay

Lovely spacious ground floor apartment in a gated Georgian Building full of character. I stayed with a female friend and we felt safe and secure at all times and the bonus of parking for two cars is a rare find in Clitheroe. The welcome goods on arrival plus milk in the fridge were a nice touch too. I am familiar with Clitheroe as I shop there but have never stayed overnight but would do again definitely as there are lots of good places to eat and drink such as Holmes Mill, The Emporium and Wills Restaurant to name but a few. Also some nice independent shops too. My friend is from Scotland and she cant wait to return. There are also several excellent restaurants a short drive from Clitheroe too. The Ribble Valley offers lots to explore and some great scenery. Well worth a visit is the Melt Candle company in Waddington which is a ten minutes drive away. Tina is a great host and happy to help with anything and keeps in touch with you. I would definitely recommend you stay here.

Perfect location for access to everything in town as well as for biking and hiking. Super cool accommodations in a converted 300 year old barn. Don’t let that fool you as the amenities are all up to date. Finally a wood burning stove to boot for a cozy evening. Robin is a great host and source for local happenings and hikes up the fells.

Keswick is a beautiful base for visiting the Lakes District and this apartment is in a great location in Keswick. Easy to walk into the centre of town for dinner or groceries. The apartment had lots of good books about nearby walking and the gas fire was a lovely addition. Unexpectedly spacious flat with well equipped kitchen.

A great place for a one night stay. Went to a gig next door so this was a perfect spot and location. There was some fresh food and drink left for us which was a nice touch. Free parking was easy just outside. Would definitely stay there again.

Church Street was a lovely place to stay, good layout, comfy furniture, plenty of room and all very clean. Location was good for us, 10 mins walk into the centre of Keswick or the lake. A great base for exploring this beautiful part of the country.

Just like home from home with immediate access to all the service you expect for a walking holiday in Cumbria. Also, private car parking, access to what is now an excellent bus services in and around the local valleys and not to forget the immediate availability of the excellence of the Booths super market!

This is the second time I have stayed at the studio. It is a lovely little place, compact but with everything you need in a very beautiful and convenient spot. Carol and Margaret are very helpful and friendly it is always a pleasure to stay in their beautiful flat. Thank you for being so welcoming and accomodating.

Just back from three nights and we had such a wonderful time. The property is in a great location with it being walking distance to bowness but also secluded. Kitchen amenities all great, excellent spec bathroom and very clean all round. We had a couple of questions which were answered very quickly. Highly recommend and we will be booking again.

Delightful , quaint, cosy cottage set in beautiful surroundings and countryside. It was so relaxing to sit back, watch and listen to the wildlife. The locals were very friendly and welcoming and offered their knowledge of the area for walks and the wildlife. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need and within easy reach of the local amenities. There are many picturesque walks right on your doorstep which are simply divine and great for furry friends. Angus and Murphy had such a fabulous time as they love the water and running free. A wonderful half term long weekend with our teenagers. Super quiet location, but close enough to Lancaster to make a dash into the city easy. Smashing property with jus the right mixture of character and modernity. Will be back.

Really brilliant place. Lovely house and great amenities. Really well stocked (unusual to have such good wine glasses!!). Well def use again!

We had a great stay. The house was in a beautiful location, right on the estuary. Plenty of beach for walking. Beds were comfy and ample linen and towels were provided plus a great welcome hamper. The games room provided hours of entertainment and the hot tub was lovely for relaxing in after a busy day. The nearby rock park/quarry was a really interesting day out. We also enjoyed a meal out at the King William IV in Kirksanton. Jenny was a great host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Jerry was super responsive and responded within minutes whenever we needed something, which was really appreciated (even around midnight 😅). The house is beautiful, very well furnished. Hot tub was a favourite and the river is incredibly scenic.
