1832 Historic Washington Bottom Farm Log Cabin

Welcome to our renovated 1832 Log Cabin on the grounds of the George William Washington and Sarah Wright Washington 19th century plantation. The cabin was the first structure built. Then came barns and slaves’ quarters (no longer standing). The dairy barn is now a woodworking shop and the bank barn was recently restored. The main house, built in 1835, is Greek Revival style. Today, our 300+acre is Certified Organic. We border the South Branch of the Potomac River. It’s ALMOST HEAVEN !

The Tiny Cottage (Jay City Limits)

The Tiny Cottage is perfect for guests who are traveling with kids or pets and would like to avoid a hotel. The Cottage has almost 400 sq. feet of personal space. It is fully equipped with a living room, galley kitchen, full bathroom, small bedroom, and private yard. The deck has patio seating. Pets need to be well-behaved. We have friendly animals like peacocks, goats, chickens, pigs, miniature donkeys and a free roaming friendly squirrel named Agnes. You r welcome to pick fresh eggs for ur breakfast. Bell Canvas Tent Under the Stars

Beautiful 13’ by 13’ Bell Tent on a large wooden platform. You have your own fire pit, fire pit grill, and a wooden bench and firewood provided. You also have a picnic table with an umbrella. Private access to our eight mile trail system is just feet away from the back of your tent. You have access to an outdoor shower with instant hot/cold water and a porta potty.
