We had a great stay at this home! It’s a perfect place for families, especially with kids. There are lots of toys and fun things to do inside, which kept our little ones happily entertained. The layout is also very convenient—with two separate levels, the adults and kids could have their own space without disturbing each other. The location is great too—quiet, safe, and close to everything we needed. Overall, a very family-friendly and comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

Misty’s property is a gem, and had even more than we hoped for. The property was very quiet and private, with plenty of space to suit a large family, and our daughter loved the outdoor rope swing.

Where do I start? Maia's place was amazing!!! From the beautiful welcome basket when we arrived, complete with wine, snacks and hot chocolate, it was lovely. Also, I shared with Maia that we would be checking in late, and she and Craig had the porch lights on and the heat on so it was toasty inside for us, it was such a thoughtful touch. The house is clean, well laid out, and the kitchen is well stocked. It was dog friendly, and the back yard was great for our two small dogs. Bob the bluejay and his friends paid us a visit and they were quite the characters. Maia even has peanuts for you to feed them and we thoroughly enjoyed that. Maia's cabin has the best "House Guide" I've ever seen in an Air BnB, complete with manuals for the appliances as well as local menus and a full directory. Maia is responsive and oh so kind and I just want to say thank you for a wonderful stay. You are truly remarkable and we would definitely love to come back!

Our stay at Ginny’s cabin made for a perfect experience for our family…. again! We love the location, and the abundance of snow was an extra bonus this past week. The cabin is so charming and cozy. We brought wood for the fireplace. The warmth and the ambience made everything just perfect. We had great communication with the host. The property is quite private and very quiet. It doesn’t take long to get to town, but you feel like you are out in the country and far enough away from the traffic and the tourists. We loved the cabin before Ginny added the Internet and TV; but it was so nice to have both this time. Bear Pause is also a great place to “unplug” and refresh from the busy Southern California lifestyle. We are so grateful to have this cabin as our go-to getaway. Thank you Ginny. We will be back soon!

This review may seem overly complimentary to some but to me and my family, this cabin mountain lake front home is truly a gem. It's really very well stocked and most all amenities are included. The lake view is absolutely stunning. I never truly realized just how beautiful Big Bear Lake is....morning, noon and night. The very short trek to the lake is just steps away. The property is right on the lake's edge and with its own dock. My grandson fished there every day but, sadly, the fish were not biting. Still, sitting with my son at lake's edge with a Belgium Brew was a delight and one I will remember. Every single member of my family voiced the same feeling: "best vacation ever, bar none". This is our 10th annual family vacation and each year it is what one puts into it but somehow this one really stood out. Oh almost forgot, I won those billiard games easily in the lovely game room. When I consider everything, 5 stars is not enough. Bravo!

This chalet is an absolute gem! We came up to Wrightwood on a last minute weekend getaway for my husband’s 50th and were lucky enough to be able to book this charming space. From the very beginning, the hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure that every detail was perfect. The house is both cozy and spacious, with no detail overlooked, from the welcome sign to the complementary hot cocoa and popcorn. Every space is well thought out with an eye for both design and practicality. All bedrooms are large with quality linens. The kitchen has the most charming antique stove and everything needed to cook whatever meal you could imagine. The backyard with spa, fire pit and game room kept my family entertained the whole weekend. The cherry on top is that the property is perfectly dog friendly. The fenced in yard, gated staircase and doggy bowls made us feel right at home with our pup. It was a 5 star experience and I would stay at any property from this host.

Was better than the photos and we had an amazing time. A group of 6 of us met up for some skiing and relaxing in the mountains… If you want to walk to the mountain, it doesn’t get better than this. True ski in ski out house. The house was clean and the beds were comfy. Would recommend if you’re heading up to Big Bear

This was my first time booking an Airbnb, and I was a bit nervous, but it turned out to be an amazing experience! James was very responsive to my questions on the app, which made everything smooth. I’m so glad he suggested Snow Summit—it had plenty of space and a great viewing area for those of us watching our group try snowboarding for the first time. The instructions were easy to follow, and the home was comfortable and well-equipped. We used the kitchen a lot, and my favorite part was the instant hot water—that was a bonus! I loved that people left saran wrap, reynolds wrap, seasoning, zip loc. bags, etc because it saved us a trip to the store for little things we dont think about packing. Plus, the fenced backyard was perfect for my little dog to run around during potty breaks. I would absolutely stay at James’ home again next time we visit Big Bear

Impossible to beat the location. So close to Bear Mountain you still get Wifi on the chairlift! 🤯 Had a great four days hitting the slopes, soaking in the luxurious hot tub, and grilling burgers and sausages on the massive grill. After staying literally 100 yards from the mountain, I'm not sure I could ever stay in town again. Everything was exactly as described, and the process was super smooth. Can't wait to book this place again!
