The cabin has a comfortable double bed, smart TV, Wardrobe, breakfast bar/laptop work station, several USB points, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, sink/drainer with hot & cold water A chemical toilet is provided in the cabin for night use. There’s a private toilet & a wonderful hot shower both outside (as per photos) for guest’s use. The front decked veranda adjoins an outdoor kitchen with 2 ring gas hob & brick built BBQ overlooking a large garden that has a lovely view of the sea/sunset.

Riverside Bungalow.

This is a lovely little bungalow on the banks of the River Crouch. It is semi rural. A 5 minute walk to Althorne station and 15 minute drive into Burnham on Crouch, which has some some great pubs and restaurants. We allow 2 well behaved dogs. The riverside walks are fabulous. It is a a quiet and tranquil spot. If you need a relaxing break, this is an ideal place. Nearest pub The Three Horseshoes is roughly a 5 min drive. Mersea Island is off the coast of Essex, 9 miles southeast of Colchester, just one hour from London.
