Lovely stay at Lincoln's - gorgeous space and garden and perfect for our visit, host was very communicative and helpful, quick walk to town centre - would stay again for sure!

Great beach hut just as described, was easy to book, to find, and get inside. We had amazing fish and chips from the chip shop up the road. Really handy for a day on the beach, the weather turned during the day so if we hadn’t had it we would probably have just had to go home. Even has a little changing area if you are brave enough to swim.

what a great quirky place, when you enter into the kitchen/breakfast area it looks compact but upstairs feels a lot bigger. would definitely return if coming back to Southend.

We had a lovely stay at Kay’s property. Exactly as described, spotlessly clean with kind and thoughtful extras such as a cold bottle of fizz and some beers in the fridge, as well as bread, eggs and fresh milk for breakfast. We were recommended to eat at the Hampton Inn, a short walk from the property along the beach. The food and service there was excellent - highly recommended! The outside shower was fabulous - powerful and hot and I confess to luxuriating in it for far longer than the showers I take at home. Just bliss. The property is an easy three mile walk along the sea front into Whitstable in one direction (under an hour) and around fifteen minutes to the pier in Herne Bay in the other. A great central location but also very easy striking distance by car if you want to investigate further afield. We loved our stay and look forward to returning ☺️ Thank you Kay 🙏🏼

Really great location for the beach: right next to a set of steps down and also near a water tap for teas/ foot cleaning. Was a little difficult to clean up at the end of the day, so recommend you clean your feet off before tramping sand in when using: we didn’t so took a while for us to sweep/mop.

we had a lovely time - walkable to High Street and beach and lots of amazing places to eat (do book as they get busy). four adults and one dog and we had plenty of space it was like home from home. We thought we would have problems parking but that was fine too - we had to nove our car a few times but that didn't bother us and there are car parks near by. Really wouldn't hesitate booking again. Fiona also answered our questions very quickly.

We primarily chose Slip Cottage for its location and private parking, as we know parking in Whitstable can be difficult. The cottage was just minutes from the sea front and surrounded by nice Independent shops and galleries. There were so many places to eat that we only used the very well equipped kitchen to make cups of coffee! The location is down a private lane, not a through road so very quiet. The neighbours were very friendly. Although only a double, the main bed had a really good mattress and was very comfortable. All the furnishings were good quality, with twin beds in the second bedroom. With two full bathrooms there was a choice of shower or bath, plus a downstairs loo as well! Stephen was a great host offering lots of advice about favourite places to eat. He also kindly texted once the cottage was ready so that we could go in earlier than the published arrival time. All in all a great find which we would happily return to.

Tara is a great host and it was really nice to stay at her airbnb. Had great moments by relaxing the firepit after busy days out! Would highly recommend!

It’s a really clean caravan, looks exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed, it was a great base to be able to visit family nearby. Communication was great as well. We will be booking again next time we are down.

We just spent one night at the location as we were travelling on the ferry to Europe. Everything was great and we were very happy with the accommodation and communication. Thank you.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway! We had a fantastic weekend – a really memorable break for all of us. I travelled with my three daughters and two grandchildren, and the experience couldn’t have been better. The caravan felt like a home from home, providing all the comfort we needed for a stress-free stay. Its cosy, well-equipped interior made settling in so easy, and we instantly felt relaxed. The location was perfect – right next to the beach, which was a big hit with the kids, and the site itself had excellent amenities. Everything we needed was right there.. Highly recommend for families looking for a peaceful and fun-filled getaway! We would love to come back …..

We had the most wonderful stay at Parkdean, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the very beginning, the host's communication was absolutely top-notch – clear, friendly, and super efficient. The booking process was smooth and stress-free, which really set the tone for our whole trip. The caravan itself was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed and more – we genuinely couldn't believe the amazing value for money. For the price we paid, we got so much more than we expected! It's rare to find somewhere that offers both quality and affordability, but this place really nails it. The whole experience felt like a little slice of luxury without the hefty price tag. If you're looking for a fantastic getaway that doesn’t break the bank, this is it. We’re already planning our next visit!

The accommodation was so lovely home from home .very spacious and nice outside private decking to chill .the location was great 👍 .sandra was very quick to message back any inquiries we had.thankyou sandra for the goodies that you left very much appreciated and a nice touch.would definitly recommend sandras place .lou & family.

Our second time at Boatswain's Cottage and it was just as lovely. Sweet touches such as a Christmas tree and a welcome bottle of wine and posh biscuits were much appreciated. The cottage is well designed, perfectly equipped and the owners swift to answer all and any queries.

The place was lovely and clean, well presented and really well equipped. Mark was really responsive and helpful. The location was fabulous, perfect access to the beach, the pier and all the shops.

This was my first booking with Airbnb so I didnt really know what to expect but Mel has certainly set the standard. She is a friendly, helpful, honest, and incredibly responsive host. The house was exactly as described and the quiet location was perfect for us. We'll definitely stay again when we return to Mersea Island, which was beautiful too!

Great location, lovely characterful, relaxing and spacious house with incredible sea views AND parking. It was just what we were looking for. Comfortable bed, the house was very clean throughout. The host was very helpful amd friendly, and communications were great.

We have just returned home from a week’s stay at Karen‘s house. It was a home from home with lots of space for our family of five and very clean. Karen was super helpful and responsive, she even went as far as leaving presents out for our children that they loved and food items for our stay. The house is centrally located for shopping, the seafront, park and many other local attractions. If you are thinking of staying here, we highly recommend and would book again. Thank you Karen!

What an amazing stay from start to finish. We was wowed as soon as we walked in to how lovely the house was. So spacious and a lovely garden area which is a perfect sun trap when the sun is out. The open plan kitchen/living area made it a great space for us to socialise with our friends and the bedrooms were very well done. A great location- we walked to whitstable and was a pleasant walk and some lovely little places in tankerton high street too which is literally round the corner. We even had an early morning swim and just as the beach was right on the doorstep. We would love to book again and would highly recommend. Debra was also very helpful and checked in over text asking if everything was ok including room temperatures etc. A great host

Debi's place was exactly as laid out in the particulars. It was clean and comfortable, and there were plentiful instructions to tell us how everything worked. Debi had left breakfast for us, which we had not expected and was very welcome. There were also facilities for our dog - bed, bowls, poo bags etc, which again we had not expected.
