Had a great stay at Jeff's place in Holmbridge. Communication was very good and check in was a breeze. The tea and coffee facilities and breakfast cereals with fresh milk in the fridge was a welcome touch. It's a lovely cottage, spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay including a handy guide to the living cal area and amenities. Holmfirth is just a short drive away, but The Pickled Pheasant is a great walkable option for food and drinks in this lovely peaceful village. Would happily return.

Simon was extremely helpful as soon as we booked. He provided very concise directions and communicated with us well. He was helpful with flexible check-in too. Simon welcomed us on arrival but had provided us with all the information we needed for the key safe should he not be in. The flat was lovely, very spacious, comfy and well equipped. Simon's home is situated in a very beautiful area, close to Holmfirth with its many bars, vibrant night life, eateries and shops and also the surrounding countryside too.

Well appointed cottages in a great location on the edge of the village. Lovely and quiet but only a short walk into the village, the caverns and great for longer walks to the tor and beyond. We stayed in The Stables which are lovely, spacious and roomy for 6 people and spotlessly clean. Parking directly outside. John and Helen were very welcoming and helpful and provided lots of useful information. This was our second stay here and would happily come again. Highly recommended.

A fantastic location in the heart of the Peak District. Perfect for a large family get together, warm and comfortable, safe for children. Lots of comfy sofas, big dining room table, full of character, great bedrooms. Attached to a lovely pub, great breakfasts and Sunday lunches. Even a small honesty shop in the pub carpark, selling local produce and essentials. The host, Fiona, couldn’t have been any more hospitable and obliging, nothing overlooked. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we’ll be back!

We had a lovely 4 nights stay at the cottage with our two dogs. The cottage was clean and we had everything we would need for our stay, including wood for the log burner. The enclosed garden was a nice place to sit and enjoy wonderful views and to watch the sunset with a glass of wine. Castleton is only a 15min walk along a footpath from the rear of the cottage and there are plenty of places to eat and drink in the village. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended 👌

Great stay at the beautiful farmhouse. Exactly as described and Stephanie was a brilliant host!

Great property and owners. We stayed as 4 couples and 2 children and the house was plenty big enough with excellent facilities. The hosts were great , helpful and informative and we ate where they recommended - the Wortley arms - and it was great. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house and we will hopefully be back soon.

Birch Cottage was beautifully presented and perfect for a family get together. There was plenty of space, definitely did not feel cramped or on top of each other. The bathrooms were clean and modern, presented with complimentary toiletries. The bedrooms were a good size with adequate storage. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen was pristine. The location of the cottage is stunning, halfway up a hillside with plenty of challenging walks literally on the doorstep. The pool area exceeded expectations. It was modern, clean and warm. Sophie pre-arranged with me the times that the occupants on our cottage would use it and that worked out fine. I would have no hesitation in recommending Birch Cottage and hope to visit again some day.

Another great stay at John and Jane’s cottage - our third visit. Such a peaceful and beautiful spot, a great property with excellent facilities and really cosy and comfortable. Easy to get into Sheffield and great walks from the door. Love it!

Amazing! The property is located on a private road, so it is very peaceful and quiet. The room provided by Jayne was lovely. It's spacious and clean with amenities such as TV, kettle, tea, coffee and a mini fridge all provided. The extra large bed is comfortable and was freshly made up for my arrival. The view from the windows is quite stunning. Likewise, the private bathroom (walk-in shower) was clean and stocked with toilet rolls, towels, shampoo and body wash. On arrival I was greeted by Jayne, and showed to my room. This genuinely was such a pleasant experience being my first booking using Airbnb. Jayne made me feel right at home, as did Anthony and Noodles and I couldn't have asked for more from this wonderful place or my host. I stayed here for 5 nights whilst exploring and photographing the stunning scenery in and around the immediate area. The rest of my time I was able to relax in the room or in the area immediately outside. Thank you, Jayne for an extremely delightful stay.

We had a lovely and very comfortable stay of 3 nights. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was really enjoyable spending time in such a spacious, tranquille space, in excellent condition, thoughtfully decorated, so well furnished and equipped, and needless to say spotlessly clean. It was a fantastic first experience also for my son to feed the checking, and collect and eat their eggs. Thank you for welcoming us.

Really enjoyed staying at the cottage! We especially appreciated the good quality of the fittings and furnishings (having stayed in a few places with ovens that barely work) and the farm tour on the last morning was the icing on the cake, particularly for our children who didn't want to leave. Thank you for all of the hospitality!

What a wonderful overnight stay- we all loved it! The accommodation had everything we needed and was perfectly located! We went on some lovely local walks with the dogs and our son loved the opportunity to be able to fish on the lakes! The tea rooms were amazing and we enjoyed a lovely lunch and breakfast before we left. We absolutely recommend.

Beautiful place , brilliant host. The place was in a lovely quiet area and Helen provided food and taxi recommendations as we were staying for a wedding, Helen baked us the most gorgeous cake and the place was beautifully kept and homely, would stay again!

Cloudberry Farm Lodge was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog). The property has a separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed. Sofa bed in the living room (with the option of an additional inflatable mattress). Small bathroom with a powerful shower. We had a great stay here, lovely area with lots of walks on the doorstep. Games room was a bonus for our teenagers especially the table tennis!

Lisa was very proactive with communications and even provided milk as we couldn’t get any on route. Beautiful surroundings albeit maybe a little remote for some. Worked well for us as we chose this and only 10 mins to Middlewood Tram P & R

13 of us had a lovely couple of nights. Most definitely big enough for all of us comfortably and some lovely walks nearby. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. An addition of a coffee pod machine would be nice. Other than that the only qualm was lack of batteries for the TV remote (Six Nations weekend!) but we managed to find some elsewhere. We would definitely recommend to other people considering as the accommodation was lovely and the hosts very helpful, especially when requesting a late check out.

This property is beautiful you could not expect for anything more this property is kitted out with everything and to the highest standard shame every Air B&B isn’t the same standard.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay, our first time "glamping" we were a little dubious at first, but I'd do it all again 100%, really enjoyed our stay, Steven was incredibly helpful with any queries we had(not many albeit due to the thorough details we were sent). Really really clean place, honestly cannot fault anything about our weekend thoroughly enjoyed every moment, we will definitely look to book again. thanks again!

Nice house quiet area good location to get to different tourist destinations.

Sheila's cottage was extremely cosy, and a step away from beautiful hikes in the Peak District. The check-in and out were as easy as can be. After our hikes, we had a great time relaxing by the fireplace. We would definitely come again!

Awesome place!!! The pics don’t do it justice - and Diana was super friendly too. Restaurants are a 5 min walk downhill - very convenient Best part was the balcony though - great place to hang out on a sunny day :)
