A tranquil getaway on an award winning campsite at the foot of Ilkley moor. We are a family run business & are 4th generation farmers. In the surrounding fields you will see our sheep, hens, a few pigs & even Hilda & Heidi (goats) roaming around the farm. We love sharing our beautiful surroundings with its stunning views across the Wharfe valley. We have an onsite toilet block & separate showers. Welcome to Highside a delightful cottage set in a secluded location overlooking the tranquil village of Lorton. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.
