I had a wonderful stay at this lovely guesthouse! The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect—close to the city. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great tips for exploring the area. I truly felt at home and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

We had an amazing 2-day stay at this delightful wooden cottage on Bruny Island! The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with towering trees and a peaceful bush setting—perfect for unwinding. We were thrilled to spot a few wallabies hopping around the neighborhood, including a rare white one—what a special treat! The cottage was spotlessly clean, and the comfy beds made for a great night’s sleep after our adventures. The outdoor garden was a highlight, offering the perfect spot for stargazing under the clear Tasmanian sky—truly magical. It’s just a short, scenic walk to Adventure Bay, where we enjoyed the beach and explored nearby trails.

We got to Bruny Island late in the evening but checking in was a breeze with Rae’s thoughtful instructions. The house was adorned with hemp products- from the walls down to the bed linen. There is a sizeable lot for parking, a cosy living area, a well stocked kitchen/pantry as well as a washer-cum-dryer- which was practically everything for a comfortable stay. Nice gesture with the free gin, overall we enjoyed our stay at Sativa house.

This is a beautiful place to stay, in a beautiful location. The accommodation had everything that you would need, was spotless, and the welcome pact was extremely generous. It is a great place to explore the island. If we had know in advance how charming it was here we definitely would have extended our stay. One of the best experiences we have had and would recommend staying here to anyone.

A perfect place to getaway from the hustle and bustle of busy life. Cosy, quiet and peaceful. Friendly town, locals say hello. Easy drive into the City and beyond. Small house, but has all the essentials, and anymore space would be too much for one person! Absolutely perfect. I had some friends from Hobart come for dinner one night, and they had nothing but compliments for the space in the few hours they were there. Loved my time in Primrose Sands, and will hope to be back soon. Thank you Cherie and Matt 🙏

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! Everything was perfectly clean, and we were pleasantly surprised to find coffee and tea provided for us. The beds were very comfortable with fresh, clean linens. The view of the mountains and the sea was absolutely breathtaking, and the location made it very easy to get to. Every detail was carefully thought out, making our stay truly relaxing and memorable. We would love to come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

Our stay at Breakwater Lodge was just as we’d hoped - beautifully peaceful and quiet. Perfect place to go & unwind and enjoy relaxing days doing nothing. Breakwater Lodge has a great fully equipped kitchen, a lovely comfortable lounge area, with a small separate lounging room where you could choose a book from the shelf to read or watch a bit of tv. The deck is the perfect place to spend a quiet morning and afternoon, reading, relaxing and enjoying the view. And the best part about our stay at Breakwater Lodge was that our beautiful old dog got to enjoy it too. Not only a perfect spot to stay, but dog friendly too so highly recommend a little getaway at Breakwater Lodge.

Just a beautiful stay, in a peaceful spot in the Tassie south. We came down for a weekend visit from Hobart and loved every second of the stay. Within easy reach of Cygnet, Verona Sands, and peppered in farm visits in the country. Peaceful setting in a sweet, little house and comfortable amenities and bed. We spent our days popping around the area and our evenings enjoying the cabin and the surroundings. Could not recommend this spot enough.

The host and her lovely family are very friendly and easy . Sandy bay main park / ocean views are only 5 min walk - posh and nice area

We had a wonderful time staying at Angela's place! Beautiful space, great neighbourhood, and Angela was awesome to deal with it – super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Was so good to be in walking distance from the North Hobart shops and the Knocklofty hills/bush.

Cascade Cottage is quiet, peaceful and had all amenities for our family. We felt right at home and were very comfortable for our week. The house has plenty of heating and beds are comfy. The area is very quiet and even though the cascade female factory is across the road the main access is on the other side of the factory so it’s not busy house side. Pademelons live in the street and come out at night time to kids delight. The Cascade hotel pub up on the main road has amazing meals and The Cascade Brewery cafe has great food also. The house is only a 7-12 min drive from centre of Hobart CBD. You can park at Arglye St car park in the CBD for $4per hour and you can walk anywhere in the city. Tip: visit port Arthur first then ask for a Ticket of Leave at their ticket counter as you exit and its costs you $20 extra on top of your Port Arthur entry but gives you unlimited entry to Cascade Female Factory and back into Port Arthur of 2 years. Saves around $15 per person on CFF entry.

We were traveling as a family group of ten and this house accommodated us so well. The location is so beautiful and we loved exploring the local region and then coming home to wander the beach each evening. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive and helpful

We loved our nights at lemon tree cottage, what a beautiful place! So worth the money! Kasey was lovely and so helpful when needed! There were extra little goodies left for us when we arrived which was beautiful and so unexpected! We will definitely be back sometime in the future, Thankyou Kasey for having us!
