Thank you so much, Eric! Honestly, for anyone planning to visit King’s Wee Castle with their friends or family, this is the perfect place. They have everything — games, kayaks, a hot tub with a private lake — and the property is even more beautiful than the pictures. The photos don’t do justice to how amazing our experience was. I would love to go back again! It’s funny, but it actually took us 3 to 4 hours just to figure out where everything was inside the house — it was so big, spacious, and beautifully designed. Every corner, from the washrooms to the kitchen, the living area to the bedrooms, had stunning interiors. It was simply the best! We didn’t want to leave, and my friends are still in a hangover from that incredible place. Thank you for being such an amazing host, Eric!

We stayed at the House by the Locks as part of a family vacation in February 2025 and had a fantastic time. This is a unique heritage home that takes "historic character" to a whole new level. It was beautifully furnished, spacious for our party of 6, spotlessly clean, and had a well-equipped kitchen. We used it as home base for doing winter activities at Algonquin and Arrowhead Provincial Parks, and it was a pleasure to return to at the end of the day. Check-in/out was easy, and the host was friendly and responsive. 10/10. Highly recommended!

My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Definitely give her a 5 outta 5 I will certainly stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for a airbnb in Bancroft area! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

The location is amazing, a short walk down the trail to the public beach was a great bonus. The lake is perfect for swimming! The place felt very homey, and the nostalgia of watching a movie on VHS is so much fun. Would recommend this place to everyone!

Ballard Cabin was the perfect getaway! It has a warm, rustic hunting cabin vibe that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The space is incredibly cozy, with a super comfy couch and a great collection of books to browse through. The kitchen was amazing—fully stocked with everything we needed to cook a gourmet meal. The location was also perfect: just minutes from town and a short drive to Arrowhead Provincial Park, where we spent the weekend skating. A great stay! My partner, my dog, and I have been coming to The Lodge for 4 years now and it’s always a fantastic time. It is a perfect and cozy winter stay. We loving coming back to Golden Lake year after year for The Lodge but also because Cindy is such a wonderful host. She is very responsive with any questions or concerns. 10/10 would recommend :)

We had a great weekend at this cottage! The cottage was clean, cozy, spacious. It had everything we needed for a fun filled weekend. The hot tub, pool table and ping pong table were just some of the highlights of this cottage. Amanda was very accommodating and responsive. She provided all the information needed in order to have the best time. The location was ideal, very peaceful, surrounded by nature, lots of privacy. Overall, this cottage was a perfect escape from the city. We would highly recommend it for anyone looking for an enjoyable getaway. Looking forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful March break week at Mark and Betty's. It's like living in an art gallery! The view was beautiful and a very peaceful and private location. My daughter loved the rooms and toys downstairs and we really appreciated the modern kitchen and fantastic fireplace.

A bit of a drive but well worth the peace and quiet of this beautiful cabin in the woods! My friends and I spent our weekend kayaking, puzzling, and BBQing. Mike was so responsive and everything was very smooth. Would definitely come back!

Once again we had a great stay! This was our second year staying at Kunals' place and it was just as we expected. Kunal went above and beyond to accomodate us. Unfortunately a wk. before, due to a bad storm, the liner of the pool was damaged so the pool was inoperable. This is one of the main highlights of Kunals' place for us so it was a little disheartening because we were there for 8 days...HOWEVER, once again Kunal came through!! He purchased an 18ft back up pool and had it assembled and ready to go for our arrival so that we could still enjoy a pool!! My sister and I had a great time, enjoyed the peace and quiet and would stay at Kunals place over an all inclusive Carribbean trip anyday! House was clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed. Kunal gave us late checkout which was greatly appreciated! We will definitely be doing an extended stay next summer and are so looking forward to it! Thanks Kunal, you are a great host and we thank you for being so accomodating!!

Gary & Mina were excellent hosts. They greeted us for check in and where very accommodating. Any questions we had were quickly answered via the AirBNB app. The house was full of character and had lots of things to do indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, utensils and kitchen wares. There was a washer/dryer centrally located which was great for towels and the Weber BBQ was in top notch condition. Water toys well maintained (2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, 1 canoe and 1 paddle boat). Pool and hot tub worked great, which was a must for our cottage getaway.

Hi, I am sorry, I was busy for the last couple of days and couldn't respond to any mail regarding the reservation. I have already paid 225$ cleaning fee on the reservation and I had no idea that the host would ask an additional 250$ for all the little stains on the floor (I thought they were covered in the cleaning fee). I have been to many Airbnb's and never been asked such a kind of amount for cleaning. He is charging for a new pot because we forgot to wash it, and it was already kind of damaged when we took it out. I am sure I am not such a kind of host who breaks furniture in other houses (we didn't even touch the cupboards). If he is still insisting on the amount I don't mind you, taking it out of my credit card. I had a great time staying there and do not want to ruin that experience with this issue. Great venue for our annual family get away! Comfortable for a large group (10 adults, 2 kids and dog), wonderful central kitchen and living area, on a quiet road and with a great natural view! Would 10/10 recommend and we will definitely be back!

Had a fabulous fall weekend at Richard's beautiful cottage in Baysville! The pictures on Airrbnb were totally accurate, this cottage is gorgeous! It has everything you could possibly need for cooking meals, very well appointed kitchen. Cozy living room with ample comfy couches around a gorgeous fireplace. The views of the lake are so pretty... perfect setting! We hioe to return! Thanks Richard!

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

Staying at Julia’s place was a great experience ! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better). The space was cozy, stylish, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Julia was an exceptional host—super responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience.

Greg’s place is incredible, we would all go back in a heartbeat! Greg is a great host, always responsive and he made sure we had great stay. The place itself is beautiful, has a lot amenities and it’s super cozy. Beds are very comfortable and every space clean and well taken care of. Definitely recommended.

We went as a group and the home hosted everyone very comfortably with the two bathrooms and three large bedrooms and bunkhouse. All the features were there such as a full kitchen, wood fireplace, tv, cable, internet, hot tub, etc. Although the road getting in is very narrow the neighbours were great in letting us by or giving us directions on proceeding with trailers. The owner listed many items and all exceeded our expectations and allowed us to create once in a lifetime memories.
