We had a wonderful stay at Fersit! There is everything you could possibly need, fully kitted out kitchen, spacious bedrooms with comfy beds and you can live in luxury with a log burner and huge hot tub. Everything has been thought of, with satellite internet to enjoy, even in the privacy of such a remote location, and a whole booklet full of helpful tips, tricks and local recommendations for places to eat, public transport, local shops and more. The location is perfectly situated, being remote enough for privacy and relaxation whilst allowing for reasonable journeys to the nearest towns, attractions etc. All in all we’ve had a lovely stay and will be sure to return!

Glorious place! And Rebeccas attention to detail is top tier and cannot fault the place. Close to amenities (the pub!) and the view is so lovely! We will be back x

Wild Thistle Lodge absolutely blew us away! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something truly special. The location is out of this world — the views are simply breathtaking, like something from a postcard. Every corner of the lodge was immaculate, cozy, and clearly designed with so much love and attention to detail. Jane, our host, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. She had a full folder waiting for us with recommendations for local restaurants, activities, and even directions to everything — it made exploring the area so easy and stress-free. It’s rare to find a place where you feel completely at home the minute you walk in, but Wild Thistle Lodge was exactly that. The peaceful surroundings, the stunning views, the thoughtful touches throughout the lodge — it all came together to create one of the best stays we have ever had. We are already planning our next trip back. If you’re considering booking Wild Thistle Lodge — don’t hesitate for a second.

We spent four nights at the cabin and really enjoyed ourselves. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We went prepared with our food shop, games, and fishing gear so we didn’t need to leave which we liked. We enjoyed the hot tub every day and with the river so close by we also did daily cold dips. We loved being surrounded by the nature and whilst there were lodges fairly close by, we felt like we there completely alone. We hope to return again!

Margaret’s house was lovely. Got to see the highland cows and had nice view from the hot tub. The place was stocked with coffee pods, ketchup and even shampoo and toothbrushes. Thanks for letting us stay would come back next time we are around.

Danke, dass wir unsere 2 Tage/ 3 Nächte während unserer Zeit auf der Isle of Skye in dieser Unterkunft verbringen konnten. Das Haus ist wunderschön und wir haben uns direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt. Der Whirlpool, die Lage und die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten (Kaffee, Kekse, Gesellschaftsspiele) sind jeden Cent wert! 10/10🥰

Everything about this stay was perfect! Lovely scenic journey to & from the accommodation. We had such a warm welcome from Graham upon arrival, who made sure we were settled in & aware of all facilities available to use on site! The accommodation was just perfect for our 2 night stay, sparkling clean also with everything we needed! An evening in the hot tub with a (plastic) glass of processco followed by a steam in the sauna truly felt luxurious. We also made use of the fabulous BBQ hut! 5 stars well deserved & we will definitely be back in the future!

The Shepherd’s Hut is just like the photos! Such a quirky, cosy place to settle in after a big day of walking many of the beautiful tracks Skye has to offer. Away from the hustle and bustle but not too far of a drive to all the activities. The hot tub was so nice for the body after all the exercise and we got pretty good at lighting fires to keep us warm during the day/through the night! Helen, the host, is so lovely. She left us homemade white chocolate fudge and was super understanding when I messed up our check out date. Communicating with her was so easy and she seems like a very kind person. Scotland is a long way from Australia but we would definitely come back to this hut if we have the chance again.

For our family of 4 Harriet’s cabin was a perfect rand cosy etreat and starting base for exploring the environment. The location is scenic and calm and the cabin is well equipped and beautifully maintained. Check in and out went very smoothly and the host are very friendly and supportive. Looking forward to returning as soon as possible.

This place was a dream for us and our dog! could not have picked a better location! was a great location to see things in the area with beautiful walks and lochs! also was a good location for getting to Skye! Lindsay also had a n amazing welcome pack which was such a nice touch for us and our dog! Lindsay was amazing and super helpful throughout! She even messaged us to give us a heads up about the northern lights being visible and allowed us to capture and see this for the first time ever! so grateful for this. highly recommend this place!

Gillies Rest is a great stay and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a hike in the nearby area. Place is exactly as advertised, please make sure you check what is available and what are the limitations. Place was extremely clean, the beds were really comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped. Overall - it was great and hopefully we'll return someday.

We had a great weekend break in Fort William staying at Jakkie's cabin. The location was ideal for us with free parking and a trail right next to the cabin which was perfect for walking our dog. The cabin is a perfect space for 2 people (and a dog). Would highly recommend this place.

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this cottage and I would definitely come back again. The view from the main window is stunning! And the cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. it is set in a very peaceful location just a couple of miles away from a stunning beach which is one of mine and my dogs favourites!

La casa è un piccolo cottage bucolico in mezzo alla natura, con una splendida vista sul mare e sul verde, gli unici suoni sono quelli delle pecorelle al pascolo. Ci siamo sentiti a casa, in un ambiente confortevole a cui non manca davvero nulla. Non abbiamo potuto stare molto sul portico, data la pioggia, ma abbiamo goduto del fuoco nella stufa che aveva già tutto l’occorrente per i due giorni che siamo stati lì. In generale consiglio questo posto soprattutto se avete qualche giorno da spendere sull’isola di Skye e nessuna fretta di girarla, essendo a sud per alcune attrazioni naturali dell’isola non è comoda la distanza, ma avendo tempo non c’è alcun problema. Grazie mille ad Anita per la sua gentilezza e disponibilità.

Beautiful little place to stay, thoroughly enjoyed and I’m sure we will be back!

This place is magical! The view from the cabin is beautiful and it’s so peaceful. All we could hear in the morning was the cuckoo! We watched otters playing in the water below, a seal sunbathing on the rocks and lots of bullfinches in the trees! The cabin is very comfortable, cosy and warm to come back to after exploring this amazing island. Grant and Lorna are really lovely people and went out of their way to help us. This was our best holiday yet and we will definitely be back one day.

Cabina davvero stupenda con una vista spettacolare! Lauren poi è un host fantastica, ci ha accolto molto calorosamente e ci ha dato tantissimi consigli, nonchè lasciato le uova fresche della sua gallina (adorabile, ogni mattina passava fuori la cabina a darci il buongiorno :). La cabina era caldissima al nostro arrivo, molto gradito in questo freddo periodo di novembre! Il posto è magnifico, perfetto per chi cerca un piccolo angolo di paradiso, lontano dalle luci artificiali della città, e in cui avere modo di ammirare benissimo le stelle e la natura, immersi nel silenzio. Puoi avvistare tanti animali selvatici (noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna non solo di vedere tante specie di uccelli, ma anche una lontra pescare e poi venire a farsi una passeggiata a riva non molto distante da noi!). La cabina è davvero adorabile, super confortevole, pulitissima, dotata di una doccia grande e un letto comodissimo. Un atmosfera bellissima all'interno e un alloggio attrezzato di tutto l'indispensabile

We had a wonderful experience. The location is very private with beautiful views. Everything inside is very thoughtfully chosen to have a very comfortable stay. The host is very welcoming and provides loads of helpful information. I would definitely stay in this place in the future.

A lovely spot, near the ferry port at UIg.

My wife and I absolutely loved this location!!! The location is secluded up a path at the back of the property. The view was stunning. We spent hours just sitting on the deck taking it in. Gareth and his wife were very welcoming and had great recommendations of where to eat and visit. The bed was comfy. And the home made chocolate chip banana bread was the best we’ve ever had. Thanks for the extra touches that made our stay so perfect. We highly recommend you spend a couple days here.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sara’s cabin. The location was perfect for us - quiet, beautiful, comfortable. Walking and kayaking from the door and we were treated to a couple of otter sighting whilst we were there. Sara was a great host, and did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would highly recommend.
