This homestay hosted by Jitender Ji and his team is just an amazing place to stay in Shimla. Situated in a peaceful surrounding of Badash village, this place is a pure bliss. The response of the team is as best as it can be and they are readily available for any help which is needed. The food served by them will give you an exactly homelike feel as its so tasty and soulful. All in all this is a great place to stay and is highly recommended. The place was absolutely clean and hygienic. The care takers were hospitable. The food was fresh and tasty just like the home cooked. It’s the perfect place to be in.

Aakarshan Homes, a very beautiful and approachable home in the hills cared with spotless rooms with clean bedding and hygienic bathrooms with all the necessary amenities, lovely balconies with picturesque views and food home delivered from the restaurants serving local Himachal cuisine. At the outset, Host Gaurav was extremely helpful, made swift response to our reservation request and made an extra effort to make us feel at home. It is also helpful to mention that this place is at a walkable distance from The Mall Road and convenient for all the local attractions. We were completely recharged with this lovely staycation and would definitely come back to Aakarshan Homes. Strongly recommended for big groups with as many as 8 guests. Great place to stay,homely and peaceful stay with fully equipped amenities in the home. caretaker was a great host,made sure to be on toes all the time.Highly reommeded esp when you are going with your full family. Happy staying!!

Very beautiful view and location. The rooms were all good with all facilities and very clean washrooms at very affordable prices. The property has a big parking space which is difficult to find in Shimla. Food is very tasty. Positive vibes. Good place to stay in Shimla with friends or family. Lastly the staff and owner Shantam provides you excellent service takes care of all your needs providing you taxi and will guide you for sightseeing’s of Shimla.

Chetan ji is great host and make sure all arrangements are in order. Food is great and gives feel of home food. Thanks to his wife. Location of property is excellent. We enjoyed lot during our stay and highly recommend to others. House is very nicely built to have lot of common areas to sit and enjoy.

Amber Vista Homestay gave me and my family an unforgettable experience. Right from when we arrived, our host Tribhun Bhardwaj was so welcoming and attentive, making sure every part of our stay was great. The food was amazing, with a variety of local dishes that really added to the whole experience. Every meal felt like a taste of the region and was delicious. But the absolute highlight was the stunning mountain view. Waking up to that incredible sight every morning was something we’ll never forget, it was magical. Amber Vista is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway. Whether you’re after relaxing, enjoying the scenery, or experiencing the local culture, this place has it all. Highly recommended for a refreshing stay!

This is a great place with nice private pool with amazing views. Nice food was made by caretaker Jitendra! Would recommend if you’re looking for a private and peaceful getaway!

We were 13 people with 5 kids. This place has taken our heart starting from check inn till last few minutes property manager Mr. Satvir was on his toes, always help and proactive. Location wise it very good and near to small shops in case of any grocery needs. In house food and kitchen very good, we had our all meals from there kitchen itself. Although we also carried some of our snacks for kids, helper in kitchen also cooked them and serve(they charge very nominal Amt for this) which is ok. Not to mention decent pool to enjoy and each room has balcony with valley and all rooms spaces, neat and clean A big thank u Skymount team and host Dhawal for making this trip memorable. Surely , I will recommend this place to others

Amazing stay! Me and my family had an incredible experience at the property. All our special requests were accepted by the team and they made everything very easy for us. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Special shoutout to Shubham and Abhishek for their exceptional hospitality and support throughout our stay. And a huge thank you to Chef Ekaant for the delicious food - it was truly amazing! Best part about the place apart from the birds singing and tress surrounding the property definitely has to be the food. If you're looking for a comfortable and memorable stay, look no further. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!

The place is a little away from the market and the roads are ok but the view and the comfort that is waiting at the property is worth it. We were a group of 10 and enjoy our stay there. Abhishek was very responsive and very comforting. He was available all the time. The food served was really nice thanks to Arjun and Virender who were always there with a smiling face to help and assist. All in all it was a wonderful stay.

We really loved the place and people there. It was peaceful and on the path of becomt self sufficient . Food is yum and healthy. It’s a really great place if you know what you are looking for. locating the place can be a bit tricky but getting in touch with the host beforehand can ease the process.

It was a wonderful stay. Everything was just as described. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The view from the rooms were magnificent. Host were really helpful and communicated well.

Amazing place! The house was beautiful, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing stay. The helper at the house was incredibly helpful and responsive, making our experience even more enjoyable. One area for improvement would be the WiFi connectivity, as it didn’t cover the entire house consistently. Additionally, having a baby cot available would be a great addition for families traveling with little ones. Overall, though, a fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend it!

We had an amazing stay at this place! The house was super clean, cozy, and exactly like the photos — really comfortable and peaceful. Great location too, everything was easy and convenient. A big shoutout to Pooja, the housekeeper — she was so sweet and helpful, always making sure everything was perfect for us. Really appreciated her kindness and care! Also, thanks to Vikramjit for being such a great host! He always replied super fast and was really helpful from start to finish, which made everything so easy. We’d definitely love to stay here again. Highly recommend!

We stayed here on our LTC Vacation for Two nights. The place is awesome. The apartment is in the roadside in Mashubra and the road-level of the building is a hotel.The property is in the basement floor. The caretakers stay attached to the hotel, and it quite convenient as they respond to your needs immediately. The rooms offer s lot of privacy, and it has a great scenic view. The rooms are spacious, and are very well maintained. It could accommodate our family that included two young girls and parents. Room heaters were provided on request. There are some general stores nearby. The only problem that we had was my elderly mother in law had to walk down three flights of stairs. Incidentally, I was the first to book this property in air bnb. I am quite happy to recommend this to any tourist who intends to visit Shimla.

Stayed here for a month combining remote working and vacation - It provided the best of both worlds. Peace and quiet for working and great access to forests and village life nearby. Rohit arranged everything quickly (even adding new tech equipment to suit) and proved a gracious host keen to ensure a comfortable stay throughout. Caretaker Desh Raj was never more than a text away and excelled at balancing the property upkeep with maintaining privacy. The Thali/Dal vegetarian food he and Rohit’s mother cooked was delicious. Two balconies - front and back, lots of sunshine in the apartment, wildlife in the cedar trees opposite (including cicadas, birds and parakeets with the occasional passing monkey) added to the relaxing feel – only interrupted by the incredible sights and sounds of Diwali celebrations from across the valley. Once used to walking slowly up the steep path (great view across to Shimla), staying here proved a great decision and an easy choice for a return visit.

It was an amazing experience one of the best homestay. The best part was the caretaker Mr ram and his family. They made us absolutely comfortable and also maintained proper privacy. Loved the stay and will definitely come back.

Reached the location without hitch due to the clear instructions and communication. The hosts were very hospitable and actually took us for a forest trail walk. Met some lovely people at the resort. Lovely fruit trees around the house. The rooms were clean and the dining area and balcony provided the perfect hangout place. We mainly ate at the nearby restaurants which were quite good. About 5 minutes walk from the resort are some stunning valley views.

The location of this place was absolutely stunning. The balcony view alone was worth every penny. The house attendant was very responsive, and the kitchen had all the essential utensils needed for cooking. While the living room looked a bit different from the pictures due to slightly aged furniture, the bedroom—with its breathtaking views both day and night—more than made up for it. Sharad, one of the hosts, was always available via message to answer any questions and even generously offered me an extra day since I was traveling late to my next destination. The 15-minute walk to the Shoghi market made it convenient to catch a bus to Shimla. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of my stay here.
