Sherrills Ford, Lake Norman of Catawba : locations de vacances

We had such a great time at lake Norman and Amy’s home is PERFECT! 10/10 recommend and look forward to booking this property again in the future!

My son and I had an excellent time staying in the downstairs unit. The location was very close to a couple marinas that provided us with wakeboarding trips and jet ski rentals. There is also a neighborhood swimming area within walking distance that was great for swimming and paddle boarding. Highly recommend. Affordable price for a couple or father/son trip and great location for exploring Lake Norman via access to marinas.

We had a very good time on this house, everyone enjoyed and my baby was really happy when all the books and toys. The rooms were all clean and the rec room was great. We hope we can go back to this house soon. Thank you Melanie for let us stay at your house.

We had a great time on our Spring Break getaway. It was easy to find and the pictures showed the place accurately. Would definitely stay here again!

My friends & I enjoyed this stay overall. We were celebrating my 40th birthday, & the house definitely served that purpose in many ways. It's very big & spacious, many cozy rooms with very comfy beds, & of course the best part of the property is the SPECTACULAR view of the lake, no matter where you're in or around the house. Also really loved the sun room but was disappointed we mostly couldn't use it at night because it was too cold out and the space is not well-insulated or heated. We tried to use space heaters, but that mostly didn't work. There were a few other issues throughout the house, like a few of the sunroom panes being off their track and seemingly impossible to put back on, a broken freezer handle, big speakers throughout the common areas that mostly didn't work, string lights in the sun room that were partially out and the main light out there not coming on, & the stove requiring stainless steel pots and pans to work. Otherwise, a great spot & getaway. I would come back.

Our family gets together every year for a family vacation. We chose this lake house for its location as well as the fact that it had so many things to keep us busy, regardless on how the weather turned out. We loved the kayaks and the fact that multiple were provided. The access to the lake was amazing so we could fish any time. The home is beautifully decorated, so much attention to detail. The home provides board games for your family, floats for the pool, speaker for music poolside, among many other things. We loved roasting marshmallows at the fire pit overlooking the lake. The kids never complained about lack of things to do. We especially loved playing darts. It was such an amazing home that it got all of the kids off of electronics. We had an issue with the water and John was super responsive and fixed it right away. He was so responsive. The home is only minutes away from a large shopping center as well as a boat rental company. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My friend and I were looking for a fenced-in yard where our dogs could play over the weekend, and this place was exactly what we envisioned. It was beautiful and serene, filled with laughter and wonderful moments. This was my first experience with Airbnb, and I’m thrilled with my choice. I can easily picture this as my home.
