We had the best 4 days staying here. The flat has everything anyone could need and a beautiful balcony as an added bonus. The location couldn’t be better, it was easy to walk anywhere and just pop in an out to drop off shopping or get changed. The host was very friendly and helpful, as was Chris, the neighbour. We had good communication and they were very attentive and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again!

I had an amazing stay here with a group of friends for my birthday. The location of the flat is perfect for a city break, with many shops and places to eat just seconds away. The apartment was very clean, well-decorated and has amazing windows! The host, Abraham, went above and beyond for us in terms of communication and there were even toiletries provided and some nice cold drinks and snacks waiting for us on arrival! I would 100% recommend staying here to anybody considering it.

Location was great and lots of excellent restaurants on the doorstep. Hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive - can’t ask for much more. Only slight downside was the commercial bin collection immediately outside which can wake you up if you need to sleep with the windows open but that’s not controllable by the hosts. Thank you for a good value stay.

Great stay! The property is perfectly located, close to all amenities and the train station, which was incredibly convenient. It’s a beautiful part of the country, right near the Peak District, making it ideal for exploring. Highly recommended, and I’d happily return again soon.

Great find, accommodation was perfect for what we needed. Really quirky, clean property, and welcome crumpets for breakfast, Thank you Kirsty! Just be aware, there is quite a steep hill to climb to get to the properly if you walk into Matlock. This was fine for us, but could be an issue for some. Great pubs and pizza take away right across the street. We will definitely reccommend.

Absolutely loved my stay here. Perfect location for exploring Buxton. The renovation of this apartment from its former, is incredible and I truly admire the effort to maintain character for the buildings history. If you are looking for a cosy, feel at home stay, then this is definitely the apartment to stay in. There is private parking at the property, easy directions to follow, and easy to follow check in information. Nick (the host) was responsive, friendly and approachable and my contact with him has been lovely. Buxton and it's close surroundings areas have a lot to offer so you will not be bored. I highly recommend this apartment, you won't be disappointed, so get booking.

I can’t thank Melanie enough! She was so helpful with any questions that we had, and gave us some amazing recommendations on where to watch the sunset locally. One of our favourite parts of the trip was actually down to one of Melanie’s recommendations. The flat was perfectly clean and a great central location to explore Buxton. It is also not too far to travel to Thors Cave and The Roaches/Luds Church (which are also well worth the hike!) I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to explore the Peak District! We have been to Sheffield many times and Jez's place was the best in terms of quality and value for money. Really nice apartment with a roof patio and tastefully decorated. Loved the walk in shower! Conveniently located to nearby restaurants and a supermarket but off the main road so very quiet at night. Jez was very prompt in replying to questions and was the perfect host. Thoroughly recommended!

Lovely little hideaway, perfect place to stay for a local gig at the Birdwell Venue. Next to a lovely pizza shop and local.pubs in walking distance the place was clean and had everything we needed. Great spot for Elsecar train station. Colby kept us informed throughout, can't recommend highly enough.

The flat is right in the heart of the town with free parking on the street. We thought it was beautiful, with plenty of space to relax and comfy beds. Great to have two bathrooms, a bonus. Thanks Heather and Kim for a lovely stay!

Spent 2 nights with kids at Margaret’s flat. We arrived late and found the entrance at the back of the building fairly easily, even in the dark. Parking close to flat is tricky as lots of cars and limited spots. Flat is over 2 floors, compact, very clean and has everything you need. We cooked and ate there with no problems. It has a steep set of steps up to top floor bedrooms which were fine for us but could be challenging for some. Area feels safe and is close to Sheffield centre, taking about 10 mins in the car, which is where we spent most of our time. Rivelin valley trail is near which we walked along before stopping in a nearby pub (Blind Monkey) which was welcoming and a great find. Margaret is really helpful and made our stay very straight forward.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Location and building wasn’t what we expected but still felt nice and private once inside. Room looks exactly like the pics. The hosts were really attentive and got back to me very quickly with any questions I had. Definitely recommend here for someone to stay the night.

We loved staying at Jane & Andrew’s “cottage” as I’m calling it. It’s so much more than an apartment, it’s so spacious, beautiful and welcoming with a lovely courtyard at the back along with the hot tub. We didn’t visit the farm since my hubby has had hip & knee surgery recently and the uphill climb would have been too much for him but for sure we’ll be back and hopefully he’ll be fit enough to do it then. The local Sainsbury’s is just a 10 minute walk away so I would walk there and then take a cheap 3.50 quid Uber back with heavy groceries…like Guinness, lol The West End pub is also a 10 minute walk away and a cheap 3.50 quid Uber back too. We flew from Toronto to visit family in Wyke and adored staying in this gem of a place for a week. So peaceful and a perfect size for two adults. The owners’ Grandkids were just next door, so if you have a couple of kids there’s plenty of room for them too and I’m sure they’d all get along, but as just us two adults we had loads of room.

Very beautiful surroundings and cleverly executed indoor swimming pool, sauna and massage rooms! Some minor issues with the heating of the Manners and sounds of the swimmers below however it’s a great little escape! Highly recommend it.
