Our house has fragile and antique components and is not suited for pets, groups or children. The Blue Haven, located in the friendly Gateway Community is the perfect place to rejuvenate and unwind. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space with all new amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped and prepped to make any meal. The firm queen bed and firm pull-out sofa are extremely comfortable with cooling mattress toppers and pillowcase covers. It is a 4-minute drive from downtown, a quarter mile from the headwaters, and .2 miles walk to the Peace Garden.

Pine Cone Cottage at River Rock Gardens & Cottages

The Pine Cone Cottage is one of three separate cottages at River Rock Gardens. It features a king bed with a wonderful view of a small garden and the river beyond through French doors. It has a small bathroom w/shower. The kitchen area has a microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster and small refrigerator. The kitchen is NOT set up for any kind of major cooking - plan accordingly. We do have wildlife/security cameras on the property. None that violate your privacy.

The Birch Tree Mountain Bungalow is a family retreat in the historic town of Dunsmuir, California – and your gateway to Shasta-Trinity National Forest. This bungalow from the 1920s is cozy at every turn, from our living room with a potbelly stove to a bedroom and sunroom that feel like home. Unwind among poufs and pillows in the sunroom or head out back where our garden yard awaits you. Eat in the sunshine here, and talk all night under the country stars.

Spend time in a quiet, peace-filled getaway. Relax on the back patio, spend time with your dog in the gated front yard or enjoy the cool of the AC inside. Shasta Dam, Shasta Lake and Centimudi boat ramp are just 2 miles away. There are a couple great hikes and walks close by to enjoy. Plus, if you have a boat/trailer, there is room for it in the driveway. Be on the watch for the wild deer and turkeys; and listen for the frogs at night too!

Soak in the spa bath, 'eat in' using your private kitchenette, enjoy the freshly roasted special blend of coffee provided by your host, or sit on the patio in the tranquil back garden.
