The 2 bedroom condo was accurately described and matched the description in the listings. It was well furnished and sufficiently stocked with the basics to make meals at home. About 30 minutes from Nanaimo and 15 minutes to Parksville, it is in a fairly central location to explore the Island. The check-in process was stress-free and extremely straightforward: enter lobby, enter your suite. For those booking, just choose your suite carefully. The water view faces the marina, and the garden view gets you a parking lot view. We saved $200 by choosing the parking lot view but that afforded us easy access to our car from our walk out garden area... for those with families, we appreciated the easy access to the car and the money savings over the better views. What's not really mentioned is how spacious the suite is and how vaulted the ceilings are, like 12 or 15'+. This is easily the best Airbnb condo suite that we've booked. A+++ excellent suite and great value!

We loved our stay at this AirBNB. I follow a specific diet and the two burner cooktop and electric bbq were why we chose this suite over others listed at Pacific Shores. The bed is very firm, but many people love a firm mattress. All in all we loved our stay here.

Loved everything about the place.

Even though I was there for work, I could not wait to get back to the resort and enjoy the view. There was a lot to do just in the resort it itself. We enjoyed the hot tub, indoor pool, ping pong and dining at the restaurant. The condo was spacious and comfortable with a gorgeous view!! Heidi replied to any questions very quickly. I will be coming back!!

I would definitely recommend the Fairwind Residences to anybody who is looking to stay on Vancouver Island. Great host and the suites are amazing!

This is most definitely the nicest, most well thought out airbnb I’ve stayed at. Absolutely stunning views, very quiet, peaceful and beautifully decorated. The furniture is modern and comfortable, the beds heavenly and the bathrooms; large and luxurious. The host offers many amenities only adding to the memorable experience. Very convenient if travelling with a dog as it’s an incredibly interesting, walkable and pet friendly area to explore. The check in cookies and bottled water were a thoughtful and lovely treat. The host was responsive, helpful, professional and friendly.

Our stay at Fairwinds Residence was absolutely perfect. The apartment and views were exactly as shown in the photos. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, scenic trip on the island. The unit was clean, fully furnished, bright and airy. We spent most of your time sitting on the balcony soaking in the gorgeous marina views. The cafe located in the building was beautiful and offered an extensive menu. We enjoyed a delicious brunch over looking the marina. I will absolutely be back again and would highly recommend this place to family and friends. Thank you so much for a lovely experience and I can’t wait to come back!

Sandra was delightful, friendly, and very personable. She had great recommendations for local spots based on our itinerary for the day, and gave us lots of local tips. Her place felt safe, and she had lots of thoughtful touches like snacks, drinks, books, and good shampoos and soaps! I would stay there again :)

The attention to detail made this interior space feel welcoming and inviting from the moment I arrived. I can't think of a thing that could have made it nicer. The views were everchanging with a variety of weather patterns during my stay. The ocean and sky were so interesting, even dramatic at times. From the windows I saw eagles, seals and the herring season that came and went, turning the water a tropical blue. So funny to see, when we know the ocean is freezing this time of year. Fishing boats were there a few days, taking their catch. Then walking in the neighbourhood, even the occasional deer to surprise you. So many paths to the beach to walk along the rocky shore when the tide is out. Daytrips are easy to go to everything, from this location. Just a short drive to the main highway and you can see so many interesting things available on central Vancouver Island. I imagine in the summer it would be even lovelier. The hosts were so friendly and helpful.

Dagmar's place was really nice, we had a friendly visitor at night that would come back frequently~ Their lil cat was sooo friendly and adorable. The place was close to Nanoose Bay Recreational Shellfish Reserve such a fun activity to do with friends. BTW they also sell 6$ eggs I believe fresh from the hen!

It was a second time I rent a property from the host. She was so kind and helpful. I was asking super early check in and late check out, and she was willingly to help. The unit as I expected was so clean, I love the unit. The vibe, ambience, interior so bright. Keep it up ur work Lisa, I hope we can meet again.

Chris was responsive and proactive! My boyfriend and I appreciated how he tried to accommodate our needs. The location is very accessible to everything and very quiet neighbourhoods. Highly recommend!

Such a lovely spot to stay on the Sunshine Coast! Super sweet hosts and cozy yet airy & clean space. Walking distance to magnificent sunset spot and great hikes close-by. Kitchen had everything you could ever need and the view from the deck is gorgeous. Evident that Thomas & Anne put a lot of thought and care into creating a welcoming and comfortable place for guests. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area again! :)

My fiancé and I stayed at Fred's place for a week and it was spectacular! Fred was extremely helpful with local recommendations for places to see and eat. The place was nice and quiet at night and we loved the absolutely stunning views from the balcony. We enjoyed having many glasses of wine and just sitting watching the sun set and hummingbirds buzzing around the feeder that Fred provided (and topped up each day). Upon arrival Fred provided the most thorough tour/introduction to the place and it's amenities I have ever experienced while staying at an air bnb. If I could give this place more than 5/5 I would! Many thanks again Fred, we would love to come back again one day.

The location was quiet and peaceful. The condo is well appointed and comfortable. I loved how colourful it was, that it is pet friendly and the ocean view was so appreciated! Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay! :)

Loved the accommodations. Very clean and close to everything you need. Surroundings are beautiful and the pool, hot tub and sauna were a much appreciated addition. The only thing I would recommend is replacing the sofa bed, which was extremely uncomfortable.

So enjoyable! View is amazing! A spacious suite, large bathroom, such a comfortable bed and a great view to wake up to. The trail walks around the resort are beautiful. Front desk agents are friendly and helpful. A nice relaxing get away!! The suite is stocked up with everything you need. Very clean.

Space matched the photos well. Beautiful location, well appointed space with all the basics covered. We didn’t end up doing any cooking but the kitchen looked like it had everything you’d need to eat in. Conveniently located very close to the elevator, so easy to move in and out.

John’s place was fantastic. Easy check-in and quick to answer any questions. My wife and I really appreciated the size of the condo and all the amenities. The fireplaces, jetted tub, comfortable king bed, well equipped kitchen and beautiful patio. We took advantage of the on-site amenities including the gym, pool, outdoor hot tub, trails and restaurant. Our stay was awesome and John made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this gem of a condo in beautiful Nanoose Bay.

Amazing view, perfect spot to have a relaxing weekend at the beach. Enjoyed the view from the living room and loved listening to the birds in the morning on the patio with our coffee. Beautiful spot!
