We enjoyed this lovely, peaceful home. Being a historical home brought a touch of charm to it all. It was well equipped and very clean and uncluttered. The Wifi worked well and we were able to keep connected with family and friends, We loved the little town of Buena Vista and the ability to walk around and find some interesting, delightful places to drop in for coffee or have a lovely meal.

We stayed in Columbus, GA for our sons graduation from basic training at Fort Benning. The location was perfect being less than 15 min from base. Mercedes was amazing with quick responses and understanding that we wanted to maximize the time with our son. Her home felt like home and my son enjoyed the comfort after 10 weeks of training! Thank you Mercedes!

Neighborhood was quiet, besides the neighborhood dogs, although some houses nearby were questionable. We found ourselves wanting more room to sit in the living room together, but we came at maximum capacity. Beds were not that great but they suited us fine for the weekend. My dad who is hard to please was comfortable there, so that says a lot. House was clean and welcoming. Host was exceptional!

This was my second time staying here in 2 months. The house is beautiful and worked well for my family.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home during our trip for our son’s Turning Blue ceremony and Army graduation. The house was incredibly comfortable, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. We were pleasantly surprised by the fresh eggs, thoughtful snacks, and coffee! such a warm and generous touch! At first, we were a bit worried that the house might be far from the base, but it turned out to be in the perfect location. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we’re truly grateful for such a peaceful and welcoming place to stay during this special time. If we ever have the chance, we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Excelente ubicacion, hermosa vista al lago. El clima no nos ayudó, pero en días de sol sin dudas el muelle flotante debe disfrutarse muchisimo! Lo mismo los kayaks que no tuvimos la oportunidad de utilizar. La cabaña esta bien para 2 parejas o una familia pequeña. Eso si... aunq dice para 4 personas, hay 3 banquetas en la barra y 3 sillas en la mesa del patio; por lo que hay que innovar para sentarse los 4 a almorzar/cenar. La casa es muy cómoda y tiene todo lo necesario para pasarlo genial. Hay un Publix cerca y algunos locales de comida rápida para algun día que haya pereza para cocinar. Debo decir que para lo que cobran por la limpieza, podrían estar más limpias las habitaciones. A mi hijo se le cayeron unos juguetes bajo la cama y se notaba la suciedad acumulada; y la parrilla no estaba en condiciones de uso. Cabe aclarar que el baño y la cocina estaban impecables, y en general la limpieza era aceptable. Sin dudas tendremos presente volver más entrado el verano! Muchas Gracias!

I really enjoyed my stay at Susan’s place. It was close enough to campus but also felt like a place my daughter could stay with me to get a break from her dorm. The thought and detail put into this home is like no other. Everywhere you look there are details, which I appreciate. We were busy during my stay so I didn’t spend a lot of time at the place, but it is the kind of place I wish I could have just enjoyed. The beds were comfortable and I loved the location in terms of how quickly I could get to and from downtown. I will definitely plan to try to stay here in the future. Highly recommend.

Vernon was very accommodating with an early check in and late check out. His place was very homey and the location was beautiful.
