We had a wonderful short stay at the Wee Housie! We were warmly welcomed by Jenny and felt comfy right from the beginning. The little home had everything we needed. The location is stunning – we loved the close distance to the sandy beach of Talmine Bay and had a wonderful hike right from the front door along the coast of Tongue Bay.

Enjoyed two nights here and it was perfect! Heating was very efficient, made the hut so cosy and they even had fairy lights. Would recommend

Had a fantastic weekend at Laverock Law, staying at the Threshers hut. Such a lovely space in a very peaceful setting. The breakfast hamper was a great offering. Lots of info on the area, and great walking from the doorstep. Borrowed bikes to get to the pub in Lowick, followed by a sunset firepit amongst the pine trees. Will definitely be back for some cycling on the local trails. Wonderful time.

Was the perfect birthaday weekend for my son and I. What s lovely ŕelaxing place. The cottage is beautiful, clean and warm. Highly recommend a stay on their farm!

This was my third wonderful stay at Hilltop. It is my favourite place to stay in the area. The surroundings are gorgeous and so peaceful. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and clean. Mary and Andy are great hosts, it was lovely to meet Mary in person this time.

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

The Pod was a great place to stay, perfect for our needs as we were over visiting relatives and then at the end of the day we could come back and relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings

One of the best glamping experiences I have had. The hot tub was beautiful the hut was beautiful and so comfy. The breakfast was amazing and our hosts were so welcome and really down to earth people. We will definitely be stopping again.

OMGoodnes, where does one start. there is not enough words to describe this place. Wow, If you are wanting a peaceful, tranquil get away this is the place. We meet with Steven who is Troy’s dad , a real pleasure talking to him. Very informative, answered ALL our questions, recommended places ,extremely helpful without being intrusive. I would highly recommend this gorgeous hideaway. JUST BEYOND WORDS. A real credit credit.

So relaxing just the sounds of the bugs and neighbouring farm animals sat in the hot tub all night highly recommend and beds so comfy they weren't like no other 10 out of 10 would recommend if you like to stay away from people but not too far very close to the forest walk

Forbes et Kathleen sont des hôtes très accueillant, très amicale et font preuve d'une grande disponibilité. ils sont également de bon conseil en ce qui concerne les restaurants et autres activité environantes. Le logement est superbe, propre et très fonctionnel. Nous avons pris beaucoup de plaisir à vivre dans ce logement pendant ces quelques jours. Nous les remercions sincèrement d'avoir grandement participé à la réussite de notre séjours dans les Highlands.

We had a lovely stay, we had everything we could have wanted and more! The views were incredible, the hot tub was needed after long walks around the NC500! The use of the fire was perfect for a relaxing evening with marshmallows! Would highly recommend

Wow! What a unique place in the possible best location in the Cairngorms. The interior and the porch is so well thought through and not only adorable and beautiful but is also super well equipped. Nothing is a miss in the kitchen and the BBQ area. Perfect for a summer bbq but I can imagine the cabin being an absolute treat in the winter, too. We walked from the doorstep and never had to drive anywhere. Easy to carry the SUP in the bag down to the lake shore as well. Will definitely be back!

Lovely lodge in a beautiful setting, very accommodating and thoughtful hosts

I loved every minute of my stay at An T-Iasgair Pod. From the cup of coffee in the morning with an ocean view and sheep in front of the window to meeting a wee little lamb to getting to know the history of the croft. Sandra and Kenneth are extremely nice and welcoming people and I felt very well taken care of. It’s beautiful to see their love for their land and sheep. I’m hoping to come back soon :)

We troffen de woning in zeer nette staat aan en was van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk uitzicht op een mooie locatie. Alles werkte naar behoren en de barbecue buiten was ook ideaal. Mooie uitvalsbasis voor meerdere sightseeings in de omgeving. Enige minpunt voor ons is dat wij vrij lang zijn en dan is het bed/woning wellicht wat aan de kleine kant.

Had the best weekend at the garden hut, loved the privacy and the beautiful surroundings so much we booked again for July as soon as we left

This was a perfect little find for us. Stayed for 2 nights to explore the surrounding areas. The place was extremely clean and tidy and kitted out to a high standard. Lovely view to look out to as well.

Een geweldige plek midden in de natuur. Erg comfortabel en met zorg ingericht. We waren er met mooi weer, dus ook kunnen zwemmen in het aangrenzende meer. Kortom een top verblijf

Spending a few days in The Shepherd's Hut was so peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful location, comfortable accommodation, friendly and accessible host, and the hot tub was the cherry on the cake! Would happily stay here again, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a retreat from their hectic life

The cabin is perfect . The use of space is incredibly well thought out. Despite being on Caroline’s drive, we didn’t hear a thing from the family home. Having towels, toiletries ( all from a local supplier❤️) all the little extras, biscuits, coffee, tea, milk, breakfast supplies was a step beyond . The cabin has everything. The location was a short drive from all the sights we had planned to see. The information book was great for top tips. The walk up to the memorial through the woods was beautiful. We had incredible weather, accommodation and location. Highly recommend and the quiet pub with a pool table at the bottom of the drive was another added bonus. Well done Caroline, you’ve created a beautiful space ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic place and hosts. We celebrated our first anniversary here and they make it a delight, very personal service with champagne and cookies for us on arrival. They just helped us with lots of local recommendations, which was extremely helpful as most places in Scotland you have to know where to go ahead of time, book reservations etc. Ultimately could not be happier with our stay here, thank you so much for all of your hospitality!!
