We stayed at the Cape Escape for 5 nights with 7 adults and two young children, and it was perfect. The setting and location of the house was private and serene. The house was well stocked including plenty of beach towels, chairs, baby gear, coolers, wagons, beach toys and more. We used the provided high chair as well. I especially loved the soaps and lotions and extra bath toiletries which made it feel like a hotel. There were multiple areas where our family could gather and eat. Dinners on the back porch st sunset were the best. We hope to be back next year!!

Marla's vacation home was very lovely. We liked the pictures of her place, but once we arrived we realized that she had remodeled a number of rooms. Each room was updated, very clean and cozy. Marla has made sure that her place is stocked with all of the large and small conveniences that guests would want in a home away from home. The location and the surroundings are stunning, especially with the Fall foliage. One can tell that Marla takes great pride in her beautiful rental. -Mark & Susan G

This was a great place for my best friend’s bachelor party and was definitely worth what we paid for!

We are locals from the area who were staying in town with out of state guests while our house was being renovated. We already love Marblehead and this place made us love it even more. It is so well appointed and the nautical theme is so quintessential Marblehead and homey. the beds were incredibly comfortable and the house was so quiet given it is on a fairly busy street. It has everything you could need for a cozy and peaceful stay and the hosts are such accommodating people who succeed in making guests feel at home. This was the best staycation and we’d love to come back sometime. HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone who wants a centrally located home right near the beach!! The property was stunning and impeccably clean, matching the description perfectly. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the convenient location with a trail to see horses and access to the lake. The host was incredibly accommodating, and we are looking forward to returning with our family. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide garage access to the house for elderly guests who may have difficulty with stairs, as the pathway, although beautiful, was quite lengthy for my elderly parents. Nonetheless, we all had a fantastic time. Thank you.

The Barefeet Retreat was just as described. A lovely home with plenty of space for our family! The primary bedroom with ensuite and lounge area is luxurious. All the bedrooms are a good size and comfortable. As we stayed in the winter, we made use of the gas fireplace every night. Ronda is a great host. She made everything so easy!

Craig’s place on Pelican Bog at Wood Pond was the ideal retreat for our moms’ weekend getaway. Even with a bit of rain, we fully enjoyed the peaceful outdoor space—fishing off the dock, a refreshing dip in the water, and the pond swing, which was such a relaxing and unexpected highlight. The home itself exceeded our expectations. The living room was so much cozier and more spacious than the photos showed—perfect for lounging, laughing, and catching up. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked, making meal prep a breeze. We didn’t find ourselves needing a single thing. Craig was incredibly responsive and took a lot of care to make our stay enjoyable including putting the fishing poles, kayaks, and chairs out for us so enjoy right as we arrived. The air hockey table was also a really great addition. All in all, it was the perfect setting for reconnecting and unwinding. We would absolutely come back!

Fabulous! An extraordinary historic home that is filled with fascinating antiques and an incredible history. Sited adjacent to a gorgeous pond, located a short walk from historic Sandwich village, and within easy access of local attractions and restaurants. This is truly special. The owners are kind, helpful and responsive - and their carefully restored home is just exceptional.

The cabin was quaint and cozy. The view was spectacular! I would return again and again. Very clean and convenient for my needs at that time. Was visiting my friends daughter and her grandchildren. They were over for a visit and it was perfect for our get together.

the home is a beautiful cottage with lots of updates. amazing view of the water, easy access from the house and use of a variety of surfboards, paddle boat.

Leah responded to my booking request within minutes. This was so important because our previous reservations fell through. This was a last-minute booking and I’m so thankful that I was able to find such a wonderful location. Everything that was in the listing was accurate and we felt right at home after an easy check-in process. I cannot thank Leah and Brandon enough for their willingness to let us rent their beautiful cottage last minute. The home is fully stocked with anything that we may have needed. It was a little chilly, but the space heaters were enough to get us through the chilly nights. My kids and I were able to watch Halloween movies on the TV while gazing at the full moon from the skylight above in the living room. I’m looking forward to going back to Massachusetts in the future. There are so many different things that this town and surrounding towns offer.

My daughter and I stayed at John’s place for a week and it was wonderful. The space was clean and perfectly appointed. The proximity to the beach was great, too. John was an extremely responsive host. I would absolutely stay here again. Barrington is a great town. If you’re a coffee drinker you have to try Borealis in Riverside. The Blue Kangaroo and The Black Pear are great breakfast/lunch spots as well. We loved Barrington Books - great spot for great gifts.

My partner and I had a lovely weekend getaway at Felicia's sweet place. We had everything we needed and we'd definitely visit again. Everything was as described and the location was perfect. Thank you Felicia for everything you do to make your guests feel welcomed.

This place exceeded our expectations & needs! The host was kind enough to let us check in earlier at a cost & we’re so glad we did. It was a beautiful location & set up. We enjoyed the special touches to make it feel welcoming. Thanks for the “extras” you offered incase we forgot to bring anything. Everything was great. Would most definitely stay here again!

My family and I had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving at this beautiful beachside home. Spacious, lots of light, really clean, great place for walks, close to a nice supermarket. Had a great time and would love to stay again! AAA+

Rebecca could not have been a more gracious host. In the days leading up to our stay she was responsive to questions and had lots of recommendations. When we got there she had some gifts and flowers waiting and the house was exactly as advertised. Additionally, we had a medical issue and had to leave a bit early and she was extremely accommodating of our change in plans. Would definitely stay there again.
