When my daughter’s rowing regatta was relocated from Rockhampton to Wyaralong dam we decided to make a girls weekend out of it anyway and chose to stay Lumiere Farmhouse. We had a fabulous weekend and enjoyed some of the local experiences, we visited the camel farm, local markets and also experienced rodeo and dirt bike motocross all in the same day. However, the highlight of the trip was our stay at Lumiere. The beautifully styled home has an incredible outlook across the rear deck from the daybed near the kitchen, the comfy lounges, the beautiful beds and linen. The home is larger than you expect with space to come together but also room to retreat, read and enjoy the peace and quiet. Having a fully equipped kitchen was brilliant. We loved the coffee machine; so easy!! We all would love to visit again. Thank you!!

This cottage is perfect! In a central location but tucked away in a quiet little pocket. The garden is beautiful with a swing and fairy garden which the kids loved. The country cottage feel was exactly as described, beautifully styled and comfortable beds. Host is very responsive and friendly, I can’t wait to come back ❤️

Thank you so much Jo for a lovely weekend getaway. The place is perfect for a retreat, surrounded by lush forrest and with the bottom of a waterfall seen at the end of the property; it was even better than we could have hoped. Jo's communication was great and it made it very easy to check in, and there were numerous little snacks and appliances that were very much appreciated: even marshmallows left for us to roast over the fire pit!! We will absolutely be visiting again, and hopefully for a few extra days too. Thanks again Jo!!

Was a lovely stay. We stayed there for a week, place was pristine clean when we arrived. Host were lovely and the self service to be able to access the home was very convenient. Would recommend for anyone who is looking for a nice quiet getaway

Jessica and Albert ticked all the boxes as far as hosts go. Absolutely lovely people. Super welcoming, informative, pro-active,accommodating. Fantastic set up with a wonderful breakfast buffet in their little restaurant set up with a spectacular view to go with it. My daughters (11 & 13) loved it too. Above and beyond! We really enjoyed our stay at Helen’s. The accommodation was comfortable and very much as described on the Airbnb website. Helen was very accommodating and responsive to our queries. We are not into golf but for those who play golf, it would be an ideal get away place from busy city life.

Mel and Ash have a beautiful little patch of paradise! the description is spot on, the space is even better! Excellent communication, helpful instructions, the area is quiet, comfortable bed, gorgeous outhouse, fire pit prepped and ready to go! I had the most beautiful and soul-refreshing stay at this retreat. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at peace. Gareth and Amanda have created a truly special space—it felt like stepping into a pocket of calm, where the world slows down and everything around you feels safe and soothing. Every detail was so thoughtful, calming, and filled with care. The accommodation was spotless, cosy, and surrounded by stunning nature. The decor, filled with lush plants and earthy touches, added such a grounding and vibrant energy to the space—it was a joy to wake up there each day. The bathhouse was absolutely incredible—such a dreamy, relaxing experience—and the fireplace added the perfect touch of warmth and comfort, especially in the evenings. It was the perfect place to slow down, breathe, and just be present. My partner and I had the most lovely time reconnecting and soaking in the serenity. I’m so grateful for the peaceful atmosphere this place offered and can’t wait to return.

Our stay was truly amazing. Absolutely everything you could ask for a little cabin getaway, outdoor baths, fire, amazing views, a comfortable day bed etc. I could stay here forever and ever!! The little welcome hamper was a lovely touch with a little cookie mix which was fun to make. The cabin itself is very cosy and comfortable. Totally private and prestine surroundings.

Was a beautiful place with stunning views of the damn and such a peaceful trip away! As it is a sustainable tiny home it can get quiet hot in summer but the outdoor bath was the perfect place to relax and cool down 😊
