Takk for et nydelig opphold! Helt magisk her ute på øya - og bort fra all støy etter festival og folk hverdag🦋🌟 Wilhelm møtte oss og instruerte godt. Den lille båtturen over sundet var en opplevelse i seg selv hverdag. Vi kommer tilbake🌟

The house is a real pearl in Stockholm archipelago, beautifully decorated which allows guests to understand the true living in this unique nature setting. The house is well equipped, with a spacious patio/deck for breakfast, lunch or dinner with brand new deck furniture. The house built in 1912, offers spectacular views from each room and is located next to a 1500 year old viking chiefs' grave shaped like a boat which gives a unique tie to the Scandinavian history. We experienced beautiful waterfront sunsets dining at the the dock house which offers charming overnight accommodations and has all the kitchen, dining/bbq equipment so guests can enjoy the dining at waterfront without running up to the main house. The sauna house is easy to use and guests can cool off stepping into the sea. For local excursions, the house is about 50 minutes drive to Stockholm old town. We thank the host Fredrik and his wife for a fantastic vacation in this spectacular Swedish nature reserve.

Fantastisk øy helt vest i havet Tre generasjoner, der de yngste var jenter på 1 1/2 og 3 3/2,  har hatt helt fantastiske vårdager på øyen til Jarle. Helt for oss selv. Omkranset av øyer, hav og horisont  - like fint i regn som i sol. Og toppen for ungene å utforske. Fikk masser av krabber i teiner - lett å sette ut fra en veldig håndterbar båt. Og huset: Det er den best planlagte hytten vi har vært i - perfekt plassert i terrenget. Velutstyrt kjøkken som innbød til matlaging - og en superpraktisk soveromsdel. Adkomsten var enkel, og butikken døgnåpen. Og Jarle en toppen vert. Tusen takk for at vi fikk oppleve dette - her ønsker vi å komme tilbake! 

A truly magical place, your own little universe. A quiet and peaceful place like this is not easy to come by these days, especially not with all the modern amenities that Pirjo's place offers. Private sauna, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, near-total isolation with a town still in reach... I could go on. A true gem in the middle of the beautiful Finnish nature and without a doubt the best Airbnb I ever stayed at. Pirjo herself is an amazing host. Not only did she always reply quickly and very helpfully – she went out of her way multiple times to accommodate and go the extra mile for me, organizing helpful things for me that I didn't even ask her to. I am so grateful to Pirjo, whose hospitality has been the cherry on top of this amazing vacation-cake. Also the island's caretaker, Heikki, was super nice and helpful and I'm happy to have met him. Sadly I didn't meet Pirjo to thank her in person but I hope we will once I inevitably come back for another stay.

Wir hatten mit unseren drei kleinen Kindern eine wundervolle Zeit auf dieser wunderschönen kleinen Insel- es ist ein Herzensort geworden und war die pure Erholung. Das Haus lässt einen sofort wohlfühlen, der Gastgeber ist sehr zuverlässig und sympathisch und die Sonnenuntergänge am Fjord direkt am Wasser sind unbeschreiblich schön. Wir hoffen bald schon wiederzukommen!!

We hebben enorm genoten van het prachtige huisje van Sari en haar man. Ze zijn allebei enorm gastvrij en behulpzaam. De locatie, direct aan het meer, is prachtig en in de omgeving valt veel te ontdekken. Ook super dat we, zonder extra kosten, gebruik konden maken van kano’s en SUP board. De, houtgestookte, sauna was ook geweldig. Een onvergetelijke ervaring!

Der Aufenthalt bei Kristian war toll. Er ist der netteste Gastgeber, den man sich vorstellen kann. Die Insel ist wunderschön, ruhig und die Sauna bei schlechtem Wetter genial. Wir haben die Zeit genossen.

Incroyable séjour passé sur l’île au milieu de la forêt. Tout était si calme, paisible, beau et romantique. Sûrement l’un des plus beaux logements dans lequel nous avons eu la chance de séjourner ! Jukka était très réactif et nous a parfaitement expliqué, en anglais, comment passer le meilleur séjour possible sur l’île. Merci beaucoup !

Wir haben eine wunderbare Ferienzeit auf Larissas Insel-Ferienhaus verbracht. Unsere 3 Familien haben sich gleich wohl gefühlt in diesem großen, sehr persönlichen Haus im südlichen Schärengarten Finnlands, ab vom Schuss und doch recht nah an Kotka und Helsinki. Vom Flughafen ist es nur eine Stunde bis zum Anleger und von dort ist man bald auf der Insel. Das Ferienhaus liegt herrlich an der Südspitze der Insel. Es gibt viel Platz zum Verweilen drinnen (4 separate Schlafzimmer sind wirklich außergewöhnlich) und draußen, den ganzen Tag Sonne und Wind. So vergehen die Wochen (zu) schnell. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Auch mit einer großen Tafel alles kein Probelm, erneut wieder sowohl drinnen als auch draußen. Die neue Sauna wird schnell warm. Sie bietet eine schöne Aussicht auf das Meer. Larissa ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und so hatten wir sehr schöne Tage. Die Villa Vonkka empfehle ich uneingeschränkt, etwas Erfahrung im Inselleben vorausgesetzt.

Don’t hesitate with this gem. Had a perfect midsummer with family and friend. Magical place! Hope to come back again ☺️☀️

Verblijven in het huis van Alexander was een echte belevenis. Het was heerlijk om te genieten van de rust, het uitzicht, het zwemmen, kajakken, suppen en de boottocht naar het eiland. Alexander gaf ons de goeie tip om naar de zonsondergang te kijken, de moeite waard! Als kers op de taart zagen we ook het noorderlicht. De accomodatie was ruim, gezellig en heel huiselijk. Kortom, we waren graag nog langer gebleven.

Beautiful location with great views from the house and sauna.

We had a wonderful 14 days in Kornelia's summer cottage. The location and the view of the lake are particularly outstanding. For our children it was like a little adventure where they could discover the beautiful nature of the island freely and safely. On top of that, the accommodation was very well equipped and clean, and Kornelia and Johann and the entire island community were very welcoming. I recommend the accommodation to anyone who wants to spend a wonderful, varied and relaxing time in a great environment.

My mum and me discovered this accommodation by chance, not knowing how to get there or what to expect. We found a wonderful simple place where we felt very comfortable. We took advantage of the sauna every day and were able to see the Northern Lights every evening, even a corona Northern Lights directly above the accommodation. It was amazing to see and of course contributed greatly to the fact that we loved the accommodation. It is simple, but has its charme. We rented a car and I would recommend it to others. Marta and Pawel are lovely hosts and always up for a chat.

Jättefint hus, behagligt inrett och det fanns allt som vi behövde, rent, snyggt & städat. Full pott!!

Wie so viele Gäste zuvor sind auch wir begeistert gewesen von der Atmosphäre auf der kleinen Schäre und haben gleich noch kurzentschlossen um eine Woche verlängert. Therese ist ein Mega-Super-Host, die Kommunikation einwandfrei und herzlich. Die Insel bietet genau wie von uns erhofft die Chance, Abstand von der großen Welt zu bekommen (am besten allerdings den WLAN nicht einschalten!) und dafür eine kleine Welt zu entdecken mit Seevögeln, Bachstelzen und Hummeln. Allerdings sollten Gäste keine Spinnenphobie haben und auch nicht allergisch sein gegen Möwenschreie... Insgesamt eine intensive Erfahrung, auch mit sich selbst.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The place is very nice and the location is absolutely beautiful, perfect for peaceful holidays. Niko was very kind and helpful, always quick to assist and make sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return in the future! :)

C'est un coin de paradis pour qui aime la nature. Le calme, la douceur des lieux, la vue tout y est reposant et propice à la contemplation. Nous avons passé un séjour ressourçant tel que nous le rêvions. On aimerait déjà y retourner! La maison est fonctionnelle et on s'y sent bien. il y a tut le confort. Le jacuzzi est un plus incroyable. Si vous aimez la tranquillité, c'est un endroit est pour vous.

Tanja ha sido muy maja y atenta. La casita es muy acogedora, apartada, tranquila… está en un lugar idílico y tiene todo lo necesario y más. Si volviera, repetiría. Al principio pueden asustar las carreteras nevadas y la hora y media a Rovaniemi, pero merece la pena. Hay una tranquilidad increíble. No hay un ruido. La casita está a muy buena temperatura. De nuevo, agradezco mucho a Tanja todos los detalles y su atención.

Wir hatten drei schöne Tage auf der kleinen Insel. Speziell die Kinder haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Abends konnten wir Feuer machen und die Ruhe genießen. Leider gab es auch viele Gelsen, aber darauf waren wir vorbereitet. Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig. Die Unterkunft selbst sehr einfach, jedoch mit allem was man braucht. Kühlschrank, Gasherd usw. funktionierten einwandfrei. Die Outdoor-Dusche erfüllt auch ihren Zweck. Die Kommunikation mit Peter war super und sehr rasch. Auf jeden Fall zum Weiterempfehlen.

Genau das was man erwartet. Man könnte es als Luxus Camping beschreiben. Uns hat es sehr gefallen.

Vietimme mahtavan pidennetyn lokakuun viikonlopun Alglon kauniissa saaressa. Kasper noukki meidät sovitusti satamasta veneensä kyytiin ja matka meni nopeasti kauniita saaristomaisemia ihaillen. Perillä odotti ihana mökki mahtavalla rannalla jossa kelpasi paistatella syksyn viimeisissä auringon säteissä. Saari oli kaunis perinnemaisemineen, sekä rantakallioineen ja sopivan kokoinen päiväkävelyille. Löydettiin myös jokunen suppilovahvero ateriaa täydentämään. Kasperin opastettu saarikierros oli mukava lisä. Tykättiin paljon ja varmasti täytyy tämä kokea vielä kesällä uudelleen.

We had a lovely stay at Mirkas lake cottage. The cottage was comfy and cute, and the small island was just big enough for us. Everythig was just as described and Mirka provided very helpful advices before and during our days. We enjoyed candlelight-evenings, silence and of course sauna ❤ and saw the most beautiful nightsky with numerous stars, away from city lights.
