Even closer, you can hike the trails at Tahquamenon Falls or scavenge the beach of Whitefish Point, where you might find an agate or a yooperlite stone.

A 5-10 minute drive to hospital, health clinics and most places of business. A great place to stay while working from out of town, or visiting friends and family.

Enjoy an easy going stay for work, kids sport or a get away in SSM. Walking distance from waterfront, arena, mall and downtown businesses. The apartment takes up the entire second floor of a building. The main floor is a private office operating from 8:30-5pm. The building has no other units, so you’ll have a quiet stay. I have stayed in the unit myself and love the vibe and all the sunlight:)

Cozy Northern Michigan Getaway

The apartment is the downstairs of a duplex in a quiet safe neighborhood. The upstairs is also an Airbnb and can also be booked for 2 additional bedrooms and a second bath and kitchen. The downstairs Airbnb space is cozy and well lit, with hardwood floors throughout. There is a large gas fireplace in the living room, and washer and dryer in the basement. The kitchen is fully equipped.
