Over the years we had quiet a few holiday homes but this one is so special and was definitely one of the best we ever had! It starts with the private driveway to the house which makes you feel like queens and kings of ancient portugal. On the one hand the property is extremely quiet because there is nothing nearby except nature and a very small steeet, on the other hand you can walk in 20 minutes to Reriz, the village nearby that is very beautiful and has a wonderful little café and a very special riverbeach, where you can swim, hang out and have a beer. The house itselfe is really beautiful, very comfortable beds, and a kitchen with a astonishing panoramic view. Right next to the house is the wonderful saltwater pool with a terace that also offers a great panorama. And you can swim in the river on the property. PLUS Sherrin and Tony are the most friendly hosts you can imagine, especially friendly and understanding with our noisy kids - this makes you feel really at home as a family.

in general, this is a very good place to stay in. Hugo is nice but not very responsive. the place has a unique vibe since it set up as a small village rather then a house. meaning the toilets are out side the house. water pressure is very low so we had to take woderfull baths. the soccer table did not had balls to play with and that room was rather dirty. the water are not good for drinking and the closest place to get water is 15 min. drive. too bad he didn't mention that. the house had an odd smell of old people's house. can use some refreshment. other then that it is really an excellent place to stay in.

Beautiful and welcoming house. We enjoyed our stay but what stood out last was the warm welcome and delicious local delicacies that Sandra’s family had put out for us on arrival. Communication with the host was perfect during our stay and even offering our children visits to farm to feed the goats was very kind. The house is stunning a good mix of traditional and modern, plus you have everything you need. Thank you for having us.

My kids love the tennis court and pool

The village of paradinha is a place that steals your mind. Swimming in the river, peaceful nights and great places to explore near by are the extras of this rental. The house was as described, particularly enjoyed the views from the small old windows. Thank you so much Olga!

Excelente alojamiento. El apartamento es muy simpático y cuenta con cocina bien equipada, 2 servicios completos, calefacción, lavadora y secadora, balcón, 3 habitaciones. Además es muy soleado y el ambiente de la zona es muy familiar. Zélia es un amor de persona, muy simpática y atenta. Abajo hay un pequeño supermercado que tiene de todo, y los precios son normales. Los accesos son fáciles y relativamente cerca de la autopista, por lo que si quieres ir a Oporto, Aveiro, etc es fácil. Muy recomendable. Repetiré sin duda.

We were very happy with our stay at Antonio & Carola's apartment. We really appreciated the warm welcome by Albino, who was always available with tips and advice. The clean and spacious apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood, surrounded by a wonderful garden (also highly appreciated by our children) and we had a sublime view from the apartment's large terrace. We can definitely recommend this place and would stay here again if we ever were to visit the region again.

This home is a gem! We love it! It is so spacious with 4 bedrooms and a huge terrace the size of a one bedroom apartment. The view through the huge windows overlooking the neighbourhood and forest is so beautiful and relaxing. However, you must have a car to go about as not much is walking distance (also no side walks). The place is quiet but not too quiet. The road at the front gets quite busy sometimes but the noise is not disruptive at all. The huge table in the living room was perfect for working remotely. The white lighting in the house is great for working. There's also a lot of sunlight as there are sliding doors in every room. It can get cold sometimes but the house is not humid at all, and the AC heating heats up the house easily. Shower is great. Spacious bathrooms. The kitchen is huge with everything we need for cooking. We're also really grateful to have a dishwasher! Diana is very friendly and helpful when we have questions. We highly recommend this place and the host! :)

A casa é super bem equipada e cuidada. Todos os quartos (os 8) têm wc. A Luisa é super simpática e deixou-nos fazer o check out um pouco mais tarde. O único ponto negativo foi a piscina ser partilhada com a outra casa, de resto tudo perfeito :)

This place is amazing! The property feels extremely private. There were 4 of us and we felt the house could easily have slept another 4. Everything was spotless. The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend going to their restaurant in town, everything was cooked perfectly. The pool was great and we loved using the barbecue. We would absolutely recommend staying here.

Estuvimos en Semana Santa un grupo de amigos. Estuvo en todo momento pendiente y disponible para lo que necesitáramos, la casa muy bonita y acogedora; la finca espectacular, una pena la lluvia por no poder usar la piscina, con anfitriones así da gusto viajar, 100% recomendable. Deseando volver Gracias Ricardo por todo!

Ongelooflijk fijn huis en tuin! Zo zie je het niet vaak. Comfortabel, sfeervol, alles werkt goed. En zeer authentiek huis en prachtige tuin, vijver, zwembad. Joaqien was super aardig, met fruit uit zijn tuin. Bedankt Antonio en Joaqien!

What an amazing place this is and we were made to feel very welcome by the hosts. The breath-taking views, beautiful garden, conveniences of BBQ and swimming pool and close to convenience shops by car. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. Thanks for hosting us !

Eu e um grupo de amigos ficamos alojados na Villa "Carpe Diem" durante um fim de semana de Março. Desde o início o Bruno foi bastante prestável e comunicativo, dando-nos todas as informações necessárias para que a nossa estadia corresse da melhor forma possível. No que concerne ao alojamento: A casa é magnífica e bastante fiel às fotografias. Ampla, moderna, luminosa e com um espaço exterior magnífico e muito bem pensado (churrasqueira, bancada com lava-louça, mesa ampla, área coberta com uma claraboia, WC, etc.; A piscina já estava apta a ser usada, mesmo em Março; O por de sol do final de tarde torna tudo ainda mais incrível. Gostamos muito da nossa estadia e haveremos de repetir. Posto isto, estamos agradecidos ao Bruno por toda a hospitalidade e cuidado demonstrado. Diogo Fernandes
