Situé sur la route principale reliant Funchal aux autres points de l'île, sur Rua Quinta das Amoreiras, près du jardin botanique et à 30 mètres des magasins, restaurants et bus. Bien qu'il soit situé sur une très large rue, il est très calme avec un bon quartier avec une vue magnifique.
