The house is great, the location and view are perfect, and the host is very helpful and responsive. The house had a lot of great amenities, perfect for a family. Boat rental was super easy, and we enjoyed using the kayaks and standup paddle boards. Our young children loved the beach area, and the adults enjoyed the Hottub. The lake, of course, is beautiful, and the fishing good as well. We’ll definitely return.

Larry and his property were so wonderful. I came as the only adult with 4 girls ranging from age 9 to 17 and I believe they loved it every bit as much as me. Larry talked with the girls and let them know where they were able to explore and what they could have access to. Our plans were to hike and hunt waterfalls, but bc of the fires, two of the parks were closed so we have to change plans. Larry was very helpful with suggestions. When we needed and couldn't find the air mattress, Larry was quick to answer and help out. The property was just so wonderful and I'm grateful for our time there.

Linda is a wonderful host and this home is absolutely beautiful! As attractive as the photos are we were even more impressed upon entry. This place is updated everywhere with quality and taste and it is very spacious. So many great spots to sit and enjoy a coffee a book plus a great walking trail around the lake. Only wish our stay was longer so we will be back for a week next time!

Excellent location central & walkable to everything good downtown. Place was easy find & well lit up to the entry door. There are lots of garages (with EV chargers) in immediate proximity so parking & charging shouldn't be an issue. Room wonderfully comfortable with amazing bed/pillows. Water pressure in shower was great, and place was spotless. If you're a light sleeper you may want to bring ear plugs, host has excellent whitenoise machine by window if some noise doesn't bother. That's the cost of being near such a lively area. We'll definitely book again when needing accommodations in the area.

The place was absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed our stay and we really felt like we were home. The lay out is nice. The property managers were the absolute best. I loved being able to communicate with them so quickly. They accommodated us by allowing an early check in. It was truly a blessing and we are already thinking of coming back. Oh and Kennedy! My kids adored the dog. He listened and they enjoyed giving him treats. If you are thinking about it, just do it. Thanks for the hospitality.

We had a great stay. Lots of beautiful waterfalls in the area. We rented a pontoon boat on Lake Keowee. The house was very well equipped. We cooked most of our meals and we found everything we needed and more. The view of the lake from the upper deck was beautiful and we enjoyed going out in the canoe. We would not hesitate to book again in the future. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

From start to finish, our stay at Moniques cabin was nothing short of amazing. Joann/Monique, is an outstanding and incredibly responsive host—warm, thoughtful, and accommodating, even when we had last-minute changes. Her kindness and engaging conversation made the experience feel even more personal and memorable. The cabin itself is spectacular, with breathtaking views of the lake and a perfect blend of rustic charm and elegant touches. Every detail is thoughtfully considered—from the fully stocked kitchen to the array of activities right at your fingertips. Whether you’re relaxing by the water, cooking up a meal, or just taking in the peaceful surroundings, everything you need is right there. This place is a true gem and an ideal retreat for all ages. It’s rare to find a stay where both the host and the setting are equally lovely. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect, or simply enjoy a beautiful piece of the world.

We were a group of 4 adults and two children (1 and 3) and found the size good for us. The toys, crib, and child’s seat made a quick 2 day trip much easier because we didn’t have to bring as much with us. The home was clean with plenty of towels available for everyone. It is an older home so the rooms are smaller (more than 6 or so in the living room would be quite crowded). We appreciated the abundance of hooks in the bathroom and bedrooms. We played some ping pong which we enjoy but recommend that the items be refreshed as they are in poor condition! Overall, it’s a good value and we would stay again when traveling with children.

I was a little worried about staying in a townhome with 4 young kids but it ended up being the best experience! We never heard the neighbors (I’m not sure if they heard us or not 🙈) and the floor plan was incredible! It was SO spacious and we quickly fell in love with it! The neighborhood is so easy to walk and there is even a coffee shop IN the neighborhood! The host was incredible and you can tell everything was well thought out and intentional for the guests.
