Situated between Shanklin and Ventnor, the Cottage is designed in the boathouse style with beautiful detailing inside and out, with exclusive use of a large garden and access to a spectacular cliff terrace. The Isle of Wight Coastal Path is at the front gate.

With sunny outdoor spaces to the front and rear it’s a great spot to relax and enjoy. We can also provide discounted ferry travel on booking.

A quaint ‘olde’ cottage, full of character and was part of the oldest licensed public house on the Island. Situated in the heart of Ventnor town, it's convenient for a variety of local shops, amenities, super pubs & eateries, sea front & beach. The property offers sufficient accommodation for 7 people but can accommodate up to 8. It has seating at the front of the garden and an upper level rear garden with a BBQ and sea glimpses. There is parking for 2 cars, free wi-fi and Freeview TV.

There are three local pubs & a restaurant, all within walking distance.

Formerly known as the "shifting house" it was first built in 1898-1899 to accommodate munitions workers changing into the special clothing that they wore when working on magazines.
