San Carlos : locations de vacances avec suite privative

This may have been the best air bnb I’ve stayed in. My wife and I were blown away of how thoughtful the hosts were with every detail in the room and the amenities they had for us. The caretakers of the property were amazing as well. They make a delicious breakfast fresh from scratch every morning. I highly recommend staying here. The backyard is unbelievable. The hike down to the creek it full of dense nature and if you’re lucky you may see some animals, even monkeys! We saw a toucan and some other bird species too. It’s an amazing private paradise and I can’t recommend it enough. They have the sweetest dogs too, but they do tend to bark in the morning, so that’s something to be aware of. Bringing some ear plugs may not be a bad idea for that, but it didn’t bother us much. It was kind of a wake up call that allowed us to get the day started. We have dogs so it was nice having some furry friends at the property.

Es una habitación hermosa! Muy elegante, limpia, el alrededor hermoso. Queda cerca de todos los lugares en San Carlos. Los anfitriones siempre muy amables y dispuestos. Hermosas camas, la decoración preciosa, todo limpio. Muy adecuado el precio con el lugar. Felicidades!

Un lugar hermoso y acogedor, Nuria fue muy amable, sin duda alguna volvería a hospedarme aquí.

The room was perfect for a few nights and allowed us to cook most of our meals. Location is beautiful and easy to walk into town. Lili was an incredible host! She was always extremely responsive and friendly. She gave us tons of recomendaciones and helped us book a few tours for our time in Monteverde. The place was great and Lili made it even better!

Wir waren 4 Nächte in Natalias Zimmer und es war eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, die wir in Costa Rica hatten. Alles da was man braucht und ein sehr schöner Aufenthaltsbereich, wo man gut Abends sitzen kann. La Fortuna Citycenter ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar (10-15 min). Natalia ist super freundlich und hat auch gute Tipps für die Gegend. Das Wlan könnte etwas stabiler sein aber sonst überhaupt nichts auszusetzen :)

Monica’s listing was wonderful! Cute spot, loved the decor, felt much more spacious than the pictures. Perfect for 2. Monica was very responsive and helpful with local recommendations, some were even walkable. The souvenir shop was lovely and very affordable! Highly recommend! :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Erney and Monica's place. Monica's parents were just the sweetest folks! They were so welcoming and helpful. One of the highlights of our time in Monteverde was touring the backward and woodshop with Monica's father. The location was an easy drive to numerous restaurants nearby, and it is literally next door to the Don Juan coffee/cacao/sugar cane tour, which we highly recommend! Erney and Monica had great tour recommendations, which they helped us book. We had a little tour mishap on the morning of our checkout, which caused us our tour to run late. Erney was so accommodating with a late checkout, which we really appreciated. The whole family was just absolutely delightful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We highly recommend staying here!

Sofia et Justin sont des personnes d’une grande gentillesse et d’un vrai sens de l’accueil, tout comme leur chienne, si adorable. La maison est pleine de charme avec une belle vue sur le beau jardin, on s’y sent très bien! Et le quartier, bien qu’un peu éloigné à pied du centre-ville de Santa Elena (ça se fait très bien tout de même, et sur trottoir tout du long!) a quand même un supermarché bio à côté et est surtout à 30min à pied de l’entrée du Parc National de Monterverde ce qui est très agréable quand on est pas véhiculé ! Bref on recommande!

Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht! Von der überdachten Terrasse mit tollem Blick über grüne Hügel führt eine Glastür in die geräumige Küche und eine zweite in den Wohnbereich mit Bett, kleinem Sofa und angrenzenden Bad. Alles war sehr neu und modern. Die Gastgeber empfingen uns persönlich und gaben uns Infos zur Unterkunft als auch zur Umgebung. Auch als wir zum Beispiel später nach zusätzlichen Küchenutensilien fragten, reagierten sie sehr schnell und super freundlich. Am meisten Kontakt hatten wir aber mit der Hündin, die uns jeden Morgen auf der Terrasse begrüßt hat - wir wurden schnell beste Freunde. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! Wir sind mit dem Mietauto angereist und waren froh, dass wir etwas mehr Bodenfreiheit hatten. Die Straße zur Unterkunft ist nur teilweise asphaltiert. Wie übrigens auch die meisten anderen Straßen abseits der großen Hauptstraßen ;)
