Great place. Beautiful location. Loved the barn and the animals. Would definitely stay again.

Loves staying at the ranch, the staff was fantastic, as a person who grew up with horses waking up to horse hoofs at feeding time (horse a clock!) felt so nice. I was also so impressed with the care and organization of the farm, you can tell that this ranch is the top of the top! Lot’s of care and nice people. Appreciated Frank’s patience in my eagerness to meet all horses and hear about the ranch’s history. Everyone was nice and attentive, easy to find, easy to access and check in and out. The surrounding farms are fantastic and the springs of course!

Amazing stay. John and Martha were so friendly and accommodating. My husband and I loved the barn and all the animals. We were treated like family. Will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed the cottage. It was spacious, comfortable beds, strong showers, clean, and incredible location! It’s a tad tricky to find because it’s in an alleyway, but Carolyn was very responsive and helpful.

Our stay at the Stark Barn was absolutely magical! This is truly a hidden gem with so much charm. The chef's kitchen came in handy for our Thanksgiving feast, the rooms were cozy and clean, and the common areas were so spacious. There is so much to do without ever leaving the property. With all that being said, the best part of the holiday weekend was having our morning coffee with the farm animals. Cows, geese, horses, chickens, goats...just wow! John was a great host, stopped in each morning to tend to the animals and even offered us fresh chicken eggs! I can go on and on about our experience...10/10!

The place was amazing, if you you enjoy history, and antiques. I can't believe this place came down here from New Hampshire and was preserved by John and Martha. By far the most unique setting we have ever stayed. And the hosts could not have been nicer.

You want luxury? Go somewhere else. But if you are looking for undeniable charm, incredible peace and quiet and the most adorable donkey wake-up call, you're in the right place! This little cottage has everything you need. A comfortable bed, a nice spacious bathroom, and a glorious screened in porch to sit and read and soak in the fresh air and serenity of being on the edge of off the grid. Anna's directions were simple to follow (and a little cheeky, which I loved!) and I had an absolutely delightful stay! (and the donkey is seriously the sweetest donkey I've ever met! (thanks for the carrots to endear myself to him!)

We always come back to this location annually as we attend the Renaissance Faire. The grounds are lovely, the animals are precious, and they left us a fresh cut bouquet of flowers from the flourishing gardens! The host is always responsive and accommodating. The bed is big and comfortable with linens that smell so fresh & clean. It’s pet friendly in the rural sides of the rolling hills, with onsite plant nursery. Looking forward to next year as always.

I stayed here with my parents and four children! They had a blast seeing all the animals on the farm. It was clean, and beautiful. And Tracy was a great host when we needed something. I definitely recommend you stay here for a fun time!

We loved our 2nd stay at the Ranch and plan to visit again soon in a couple months. Love how it's close to town but far enough away from it. The peacefulness of the country is relaxing.

I had such a lovely stay! The cottage was exactly like the photos- serene, peaceful, open, airy, and full of beautiful light. I felt so calm during my stay and enjoyed early morning walks to see the nearby horses. Catherine was so attentive and ensured I was comfortable during my stay. I look forward to visiting again!

The very private two (2) bedroom guest suite with one bath & TVs in each room was exactly as shown. Very clean, attractive and comfortable. Similar to interior hotel rooms with no living room but had a hallway, mini kitchen, coffee island and car parking in the garage. Mini fridge located in one bedroom with full size fridge and washer & dryer in garage. Overall, a very good fit for our needs with short 1 mile drive to get on 275 to our visiting destinations. Would rent again.

Karen and Rick are wonderful hosts! Communication is great, they are very accommodating and was very flexible with our most recent stay. We appreciate it!! The home is exactly what we need for a father and son fishing trip. Clean, comfortable and a great location. Perfect location to trailer the boat. Highly Recommend!

We loved staying at the farm loft. Such a comfortable and cozy space. Looks just like the pictures! Every morning we sat out on the outdoor deck, watching the farm animals “wake up” for the day. The llamas and alpacas were so fun to watch and all the other animals, especially Jerry and Jeffrey the sheep! Sharon and Mike were amazing hosts! They have many suggestions listed for things to do in the area. Staying for over a week, we didn’t even begin to experience everything the area has to offer. We definitely will be back again.
