Unser Aufenthalt war rundum gelungen! Der Gastgeber war äußerst höflich und jederzeit ansprechbar. Wenn wir etwas benötigten, konnten wir ihn unkompliziert über Chat Nachricht kontaktieren – er antwortete meist sofort und kümmerte sich schnell um unsere Anliegen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass er uns am Abreisetag zu einem fairen Preis mit dem Auto zur nächsten Unterkunft gebracht hat. Die Zimmer waren schön eingerichtet, die Außenanlage liebevoll und ansprechend gestaltet. Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre – wir können diese Unterkunft eindeutig weiterempfehlen!

Absolutely unbeatable experience! this stay was a true PARADISE 😍 Neil is a very nice dynamic person with whom you will not be bored. This beautiful cottage is small, and perfect for a small family. Since Nuwera Eliya gets a bit cold at night, the cozy bed rooms and the blankets provided by Thidasala came to our rescue. His father took care of us so well, since Thidasala was not in town when we visited. We appreciate that. The view from the room of the Gregory Lake is brilliant. The wifi is good. We had a small kitchen as well. The bathroom was clean and we had hot water. This place is perfect for a small family who wants to enjoy the city, and not be in the rush. Their hospitality was amazing. 5 star from me.

Only stayed one night at Sandun's place, but a fabulous stay. Went on a great safari tour organized my the host, just a few minutes after checking it. The safari was fantastic with a guide who really knows his stuff, with a keen eye, he kept spotting the animals, that would otherwise not been noticed. After the tour we had a great srilankan dinner at the stay, and then again breakfast in the morning. Delicious!! Highly recommend!!

Really nice room, comfortable (but squeaky) bed and cute bathroom. I had a really good night’s sleep before our safari. Don’t expect a cottage in natural surroundings - however it’s conveniently close to the junction where you arrive by bus. The host, Dasun, helped us get the best route for our further travels and it worked like a charm. There’s A LOT of competition on the safari market in Udawalawe and I’d argue he overcharges 25-50% though.

Ajith was an incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and hospitable host. From the beginning of our booking process to the moment we left, he was helpful and kind. He arranged drivers to and from Udawalawa, as well as a safari. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, including accommodating our dietary needs and wants. The food is made on site and is excellent, always served with a smile. I would recommend Ajith’s establishment to anyone passing through Udawalawa! Thanks for everything!

accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse par le papa d'indrajith , petites gourmandises offertes pour le soir, toujours près à proposer son aide si besoin mais restant très respectueux de notre intimité... appartement très très propre et bien équipé, reculé sur une petite colline dans un quartier vraiment calme et pourtant bien vivant dans la journée... visite d'une très belle cascade à 20 minutes Pour la visite de Candy il faut prévoir ,à mon gout la location d'un scooter, car demande 30 bonnes minutes de trajet... je suis très content d'avoir trouvé ce point de chute pour découvrir Candy et les montagnes superbes qui l'entourent

An excellent place to stay for safari. Such friendly and attentive hosts, with delicious dinners and lunches, and took care to make sure we would get the right bus when leaving despite being early in the morning. Organised the whole safari for us which was amazing, highly recommend this! Thank you for a great stay

The little cabana is located next to the main hotel and had a beautiful view. Everything was impeccable. All the staff were fantastic helping us with some useful local tips. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend.

The cottage was so stunning & extremely well maintained. The surroundings are beautiful and the interiors are gorgeous. The breakfast was delicious & would recommend this a 1000 times. It was such a beautiful haven. 🤎

A lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Although tricky to find with the road up to the cottage being very steep it was worth the drive. Location is quite remote but the host could not have been more helpful and responsive with local recommendations. We also had a lovely tour of the plantation, amazing vanilla pods (just beware of the leeches!) Food was good and the setting for meals was beautiful, but there were a few stray dogs in the garden to be aware of. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Maljini.

Our stay at this modern cottage nestled amidst the tea plantations was absolutely wonderful! The design of the cottage is stunning – a perfect blend of contemporary style and cozy comfort. Waking up to the serene views of rolling green hills was truly a treat. The peaceful atmosphere was exactly what our family needed to unwind and relax. A special mention must go to Mathi, the house caretaker. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. From preparing breakfast to helping with laundry, nothing was too much trouble. His warm hospitality truly enhanced our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful cottage for anyone seeking a tranquil and stylish escape. I can't appreciate the place enough. We chose not to stay in a hotel and away from the busy areas and Sharon's place perfectly fit the bill. Staying here feels like you have been transported back 50 years. The owner has maintained the home with lots of interesting memorabilia from olden days. The locality is a peaceful and beautiful one with quaint cottages like this one around. Sharon is extremely responsive and helpful too. I will definitely recommend.

Ajith’s father Mr. Premadasa was very helpful and co-ordinating… He helped us out in preparing barbeque and responded to every query of us… We had a great stay and i would certainly recommend all to stay at this place when in Nuwara Eliya.
