we had a wonderful few days in Old Fort. The house was private with a lovely view but within easy driving distance to Old Fort, Black Mountain, and Marion. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful mountain house in Rutherfordton! The views were stunning, the rooms were cozy and well-designed, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind, making everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We felt right at home in this comfortable, peaceful, beautiful home! The location is perfect, not too far from Black Mountain or Old Fort. We enjoyed sitting by the creek, sitting in the hot tub and laying around in the hammocks just enjoying the birds and the fantastic sound of the babbling brook! Our family of 6 fit perfectly! Jason was very responsive to the internet issue we had at check in, he came immediately and solved the issue! He was warm, funny and friendly! We would not hesitate to stay at Foxie Moxie again!

Stunning view, wonderful home with lots of space and amenities. My family and I had an amazing experience kayaking on the lake, enjoying nature, and enjoying the beautiful scenery. 10/10 would visit again! Thank you!

We had a great stay here! The amenities were wonderful! Our kids loved the pool and the beach at the lake. Lots to do in this area! Jamie was super sweet and very responsive and helpful! She also makes great recommendations! We would definitely stay again!

We had a nice stay at Mary's house. Erin was a great contact and very helpful. Loved the little extra snacks they had. Very welcoming for the guests. Comfortable space close to town and they were always very responsive.

My family and I needed a weekend getaway and this property was local and great if you want to disconnect. The scenery is amazing. The view from the master bedroom is breathtaking. You literally do not have to leave the resort unless you absolutely have to. They have restaurants. There’s an area where you could play pickle ball putt putt, tennis desert 18 hole golf course heated swimming pool sauna. The price was also a steal. The only thing we couldn’t do was go fishing because the lake will be closed for 2025 due to the cleanup of the past hurricane I absolutely recommend this property.

I stayed at Craig's place while showing at TIEC and will absolutely be staying in the future. Air mattress was super comfy, towels were soft, and water was warm, who can ask for more? Craig was kind and responsive, a true gem of a host. Thank you!!

Beautiful piece of heaven. Even though it rained the majority of our visit we were still able to enjoy the serenity of the area thanks to the covered porches. This home is so peaceful and quaint. Exactly what I wished for, and we look forward to staying here again. Highly recommend folks stay at this beautiful cabin with the lovely view.

Views are out of this world! Pictures don't do it justice. The cabin had everything you need, down to flashlights, lighters, precut firewood, etc. My favorite part was the view and the swings on the back deck. The gravel drive was a hike to get to the cabin, but VERY well maintained and the views were well worth the drive. We highly recommend Jaclyn's place to anyone wanting a secluded get away in the mountains.

This cabin was the perfect get away from the busy city life! Tena's home was so cozy and was very family-friendly! We had a great stay here!

we were there for a wedding shower. 6 ladies and we all had comfy beds to sleep on, plenty of bathrooms and sitting areas. Super cute decor and theme. The hot tub was warm and relaxing and the outside sitting areas were great too. The lake is so pretty and serene. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great stay and communication!

This was a perfect stay for us! We were visiting the area for a wedding, and the location couldn't have been better. the wedding venue was only 4 minutes away at Serenity Ridge. The cabin was more than comfortable for the 4 of us. Flor was a great host and super responsive to all our needs and questions. We would choose to stay here again when visiting Mills River!
