Rotherham District : locations de vacances avec cheminée

Me and my 5 friends stayed at this holiday home for my friends 30th birthday. We were looking for somewhere just to chill out and relax for a couple of days in the country side. This holiday home is absolutely stunning, it was immaculate and very spacious. One of my favourite features were the bedrooms, they were so beautiful and comfortable. The host was extremely helpful, and kind. We would love to stay here again in the future!

Fantastic little place with modular features that utilised the space really well. Especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace. All in all, a really comfortable stay. Soozey/Jen communicated excellently throughout which made the experience all the better. Would highly recommend.

Nice little Cottage on a quiet road. Parking is in a free car park opposite (the host provides a permit to put on your dashboard). It’s a small cottage but had everything we needed. The TV has Netflix etc. The stairs are quite tight, so probably not good for people with reduced mobility. Upstairs the property has a single and double bedroom with a bathroom in the middle. Each bedroom has a door into the bathroom which is a great idea. The cottage is 2 mins from the pubs, cafes and shops etc. There is a carpark with EV chargers 2mins walk away. Overall a great place and town to visit.

A beautiful cottage, with a charming layout, making the most of the fantastic views. We could have sat watching the views for hours and were only sorry we didn't have more time to enjoy the terrace! It was well appointed and felt very homely. We loved how convenient it was for walking into Matlock Bath (only 5 minutes) with its fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours, amusements and lovely riverside walk and 2 play parks. What a great location for us as a family and it was very handy to be able to leave the car at the house and walk to the cable cars for the Heights of Abraham. We appreciated the milk and tin of chocolate biscuits. One tip for anyone who visits is to park at the top of the house, and not take the car around to the front of the house to save having to reverse up the steep hill as the road at the bottom has now been cordoned off. We felt so welcomed at this home. The hosts were very generous in the welcome goodies they left us and in the time taken to chat to us, give recommendations and lay the fires on our first day. We had an excellent meal at the recommended Spencer Arms, about 5 minutes drive away and enjoyed visiting the Sculpture Park and had a day in Bradford where there are some fantastic free museums. We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the area.

Absolutely gorgeous place set on a working farm. Beautiful surroundings! Every morning we were greeted by lambs and at night it was so peaceful. Everywhere we wanted to go was within 30 mins or less which was perfect for us. Even though you are staying on someone’s property it felt completely private. Dog bowls were left out for our dogs as well and we felt very welcome. Thanks so much Faye! We can’t wait to come back ☺️

We had a lovely stay in this immaculate, cosy cottage situated in a beautiful spot. Everything we needed was there including a very comfortable bed! Rebecca is very responsive & was extremely kind & helpful. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Rebecca for providing such a lovely place in which to stay!

Great hosts and an amazing property. A beautiful location with great views over the village. The scullery had everything we needed and was a beautiful place to stay. Peter and Emma were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel at home and provided great advice. We had a great welcome and had an amazing stay. We highly recommend staying at the scullery and would come back here again.

A lovely cottage in a charming village. The driveway for parking is a real bonus. Well equipped kitchen (hob, cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer); excellent shower and very comfortable bed. It's worth bringing some logs for the wood burner making for a cosy evening. Several pubs within easy walking distance with excellent beer and food. The local stores and very nice high class bakery and deli a short walk away. Many fabulous country walks immediately from the village and more a short drive away.
