The home is honestly even better than the pictures! So beautiful and peaceful with top of the line amenities. The place feels very upscale and the decor was put together by someone with very excellent taste. I would absolutely stay here again. Todd was also an excellent host. His communications were clear and professional. Nothing but a positive experience all around!

Debbie was very communicative before and during our stay. The property has plenty of yard room for outdoor activities and we loved that we didn’t feel stacked up against a bunch of other houses. The driveway can accommodate a group of cars and we loved the reclining couch in the basement. I’d highly recommend this property.

Came here for a weekend get-away with my partner for his birthday. What an amazingly peaceful and beautiful atmosphere! Secluded and private but close to local attractions, and the space was beyond cozy and accommodating with even the smallest of details accounted for! Amy is an impeccable host. 12/10 we had an epic experience. Will definitely be back.

This place was absolutely gorgeous and I fell in love with the interior. It was very well kept and felt luxurious. Would definitely go again!

Beautiful location and lovely accommodation, we were working but it seemed ideal for a family break. The pond makes for some great shots, would be a great place for wedding parties to stay near the TWR.

Beautiful place to camp with the kids. I loved how friendly the staff and other campers were. It was so nice to be able to see the park, jump pad and activities from the porch of our cabin. An amazing way to camp with kids and have peace and tranquility close to home.

We were in town for a wedding and needed a place we could stay where we could leave our dog crates during the day. We got upgraded to a bigger cabin since they had space. It was perfect! Thank you for the stay!

Absolutely loved staying at Sylvia's! The camper is very conveniently located within the park - close to all the amenities and activities! Easy to access, beautiful grounds and a very peaceful stay for my family and I.

Rebecca was great to work with. We needed last minute accommodations for a wedding. The place was conveniently located and a great/comfy hangout for our family before the events. The goats (Pete & Earl?) were added benefits to keep the kids occupied. Not sure if we will make it to the area again, but if we do, we will be booking this place!

The place was clean and peaceful. However, we could not find the place on our own. We needed to contact Rebecca for better directions to her place. Once there it was very relaxing and comfortable.

Hard to find. Tough to beat. Set on the river in a private location with no neighbors.

The place was perfect, just as described. The property was great for wildlife and had all the amenities you'd expect by reading about the property. Only downside was that the upstairs bathroom was out of order after the previous guests had stayed, but I'm sure it will be fixed in time and the 3 downstairs bathrooms were more than enough for what we needed. We had a fantastic time!

Wonderful stay! Put children and grands loved this place! Our 3 adult children and spouses together with our 5.8 grandchildren had a marvelous time! They all Live in Chicago so camp comp Was a breath of fresh air- stomping around in the backyard creek, playing both inside and out with the hidden forts , outdoors and indoors fires and the little play house was darling ! The kids had such a wonderful time on the outdoors egg hunt for Easter ! Thanks sooo much! We may return!!!

It was great to stay at this property between Christmas and New Year's. Figuring out a place to stay in Dixon (my hometown) isn't always easy, but this provided a way to be together for my family that I rarely get to see. It was comfortable and cozy, warm in the night. Also, it was wonderful to arrive to a lit up Christmas Tree, and discover games that were at the home. The beds were great, and it felt like a peaceful retreat.

This place is excellent for a weekend getaway. I want to bring my organization here for our retreat in the future. Great place to get away for a bit and reset. The cabin feel is great and plenty of great communal spaces to be with friends or family. The kitchen area was accessible and great to use for our breakfast. Highly recommend the local golf course too.

The cabin is across the street from White Pines Forrest. We could have walked there. Bring some shoes to hike the trails. There were also 2 small play areas over there. The fire pit is nice and big but be sure to bring some fire wood if you plan to use it. It was great that there were roasting sticks for smores. There is also a charcoal grill which was nice to use on the warm day. There is basic cooking utensils, plates, forks, spoons etc... The water gets very hot. There were plenty of clean towels and washcloths. There is a place called The Bakery that isn't far away. The muffins and cinnamon rolls were fantastic. The beds were all fine, even the futon.
