My sisters and mother stayed at Lee's house for a weekend getaway and we loved it. The house was very clean and comfortable. There was space for us to spread out and relax and hang out. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking meals. There are plenty of towels for all the bathrooms. It is quiet and serene and you feel secluded, but it was easy to get to Lexington and Staunton to see some sights. Lee was very kind, responsive, and communicated her expectations very clearly. Our whole group loved the accommodations and would definitely come back.

This is our 2nd stay at this beautiful home! I am not overstating how beautiful and peaceful this home is. And while it is secluded, it is a short drive to restaurants, shops and historical sites. We will be back again😄🥰🤩

We traveled to Lexington for our VMI reunion and wanted something more comfortable and social than booking several hotel rooms. This home caught our attention due to its proximity to campus and its great description — and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The kitchen was spacious, well-stocked, and perfect for gathering and cooking together. The back deck and yard offered stunning views that made our time there even more special. The house easily and comfortably accommodated three couples, providing plenty of space for everyone to relax. Jennifer was a wonderful host — very responsive, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lexington!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse in Fairfield, Virginia. We were there to attend our 50th college reunion in Lexington and couldn’t have stayed in a more lovely and beautiful setting. We had stunning views of rolling hills and open fields – the perfect escape from the bustle of every day life. The house was spacious, clean, and comfortably slept a group of seven, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. One of the highlights for several members of our group was the nearby winery and tasting room, just a short drive away. My classmates remarked it was a real treat to enjoy local wines right in the area, adding an extra layer of charm to our stay. The host was thoughtful and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a serene getaway with the added bonus of a great winery close at hand. We would love to come back!

Kelly’s place was exactly what was pictured. Not only did my husband and I throughly enjoy the peaceful grounds of the farm, we fell in love with the view from the cottage. Kelly was an absolute godsend when I reached out for local recommendations in a wedding crisis! She went above and beyond! Her and her husband are beautiful humans and I couldn’t have asked for better hosts.

My husband and I had a fantastic time at the cabin. It was a little tricky to find but once we re-checked the check-in photos and instructions Dee included, we found it right away. The cabin is very clean, and the perfect balance of “rustic” and comfort. We enjoyed climbing the ladder between floors- we felt like kids in a treehouse! The hot tub is well positioned to maximize the view. Everything was perfectly relaxing, quiet, and peaceful. We’d love to come back again and would recommend Dee’s cabin to friends. Unrelated to the cabin, there’s a little stack of local info by the tv on the main floor and after sorting through it looking for dinner recommendations we decided to try Vito’s. It was auh-mazing! Definitely check out this dinner option if you’re up for the 20 minute drive. Thanks, Dee! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We really enjoyed our stay. The setting is beautiful. Creek is crystal clear and easy to fish or enjoy. The bridge is a concrete bridge and was easy to utilize. The cottage is minutes to downtown. Very convenient to everything including some great parks and walking trails.

Absolutely beautiful river home and incredible hosts. The Treehouse is loaded with high end, well thought out amenities and decor giving it the perfect river cottage feel. The property grounds are meticulously kept and the outdoor sitting areas are perfect for river-side lounging. We can’t wait to book again. Thank you Michael and Sidney for exceeding all expectations!

Rebecca was an outstanding host. An amazing person and a pleasure to be around. The property and house were exactly what we were looking for during our weekend of history. The horses are amazing to be around and the property is so peaceful. It’s a different feel there. The house was beautiful. Highly recommend
