Had a wonderful 2 nights staying in the cottage on a working farm. It felt really peaceful but was also only a 5-10 min drive to Ruthin. We stayed here so we could go walking in the Clwydian Range, this was around a 15-20 min drive depending on which car park we wanted to start the walk from, but it was all perfect for us. We even found a short local walk from the cottage itself along a public footpath. The cottage was very well equipped, we used the kitchen each evening, and it was a lovely cozy space. The cottage was immaculate and we really enjoyed the hot tub, and watching the horses nearby. Richard and Ceri were lovely and welcoming hosts and we'd highly recommend the rural retreat.

It’s always special when you find a nice place to stay, but even better when the owners are equally as nice. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home from Steven, Luke and Maggie. Their place is amazing with idyllic views, home from home comforts, milk, butter and eggs ready for us along with baby food pouches for our Grandson. We can’t recommend this place enough, the only negative point being we had to come home! Thank you so much for your hospitality.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We would definitely stay again and will be recommending our families and friends to stay.

Another lovely stay at the lodge, with multi generational family having downstairs bedroom/ bathroom making this accessible. Enjoyed evening hot tubs and card games in the conservatory. Nice day out to Llangollen and shopping in Shrewsbury. Thanks

An amazing 3 nights stay at Cuddfan, perfectly placed to explore North Wales. Conwy, Zip World, Mount Snowdon and Llandudno all visited during our break 🙌🏽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. I would highly recommend this property, tastefully decorated, perfect location and good value for money. The hot tub after climbing Mount Snowdon, was absolutely amazing 🛀 💆🏼‍♂️

This accommodation was wonderful for our New Years hiking getaway with a group of friends. The accommodation was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could need for a comfortable stay - especially jumping in the hot tub after our hikes! I also really appreciated the attention to detail, from the complimentary snacks to the extra touches like the blankets to cosy up in. The location was perfect—close to local areas like Betws-y-coed, and mountains like Moel Siabod or Yr Wyddfa, yet peaceful enough to feel like a retreat. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a getaway. I will definitely be back!

The stay with Jan & Richard was nothing short of exceptional! I have stayed at quite a few cottages/lodges especially in Wales with my border collie however, Belle Vue Cottage was by far the best! The views alone from your cottage & hot tub are sensational, very secluded & peaceful and the hot tub was amazing! The cottage has everything you need & Jan & Richard were super friendly & helpful listing all the amazing places to see nearby! There are so many amazing places nearby to see like the Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall which has incredible views & is only a 15 minute drive. Also Llyn Vyrnwy Dam which is only a 20 minute drive with amazing views & is very close to the Rhiwagor Waterfall my favourite place to visit of the stay, the views are sensational & amazing for my collie who loved going for a swim! Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or better hosts & I am already planning on visiting again soon! Thank you so much Rich & Jan for an incredible stay!

Lovely cottage with everything we needed for our stay in the middle of peaceful village! Emma was a very responsive, helpful and friendly host. Recommend this place!

We have a brilliant stay, everything you could need and more. Lovely home,perfect locations, very friendly neighbours and very clean. Stayed with our children 13 + 11 and our dog. Plenty of room for us all and more than the basic essentials provided. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Periwinkle Cottage. It was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. It was lovely and quiet to. It was easy to walk to the harbour and to the shops and was very convenient for exploring North Wales. We highly recommend this accommodation.

We loved our stay in this pretty cottage. It was very clean and comfortable and incredibly well equipped. Plenty of room to spread out and sit and chat in the evenings. The front garden is a sun trap and a great place to sit and chill after a busy day. The cottage was easy to find and the key safe makes it easy to access and means you’re not tied to a specific time. Great power showers and comfy beds too. The perfect place to stay if you want to be in Betws.

A peaceful and relaxing stay with beautiful scenery and plenty of walks near by which was perfect for us. Bala is just a few minutes drive away which has all the amenities you'd need for a short or long stay. We took our fairly reactive dog with us and she settled in right away and slept soundly through the night. We cooked a roast on the first night and the kitchen was well equipped for this 🙂 Wifi was good in the lounge and we loved the DVD collection! The bedroom was downstairs and the bathroom upstairs, but this didnt bother us at all! Just something to bare in mind for those who aren't as abled. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting a break from the hustle and bustle and for those who love walking/water activities 😁

What a lovely stay we had at Rachel’s place! Wisteria cottage and the rest of their property is gorgeous and they put so much care and attention into it. The cottage was clean, adorable, peaceful and quiet and we would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Our first ever time booking an air b and b and I can’t recommend this place enough! It was spotlessly clean, great location and just beautiful! The guide they left came in handy for looking for places to eat and all the extra touches really made it feel like a home from home! Thankyou for a great stay!

We loved staying in this idyllic location. The garden was great for the dogs to run around in and we got to go on walks in the peak district. Judy is so lovely and the place was spotless. We would love to come again.

The cottage was lovely, really nice space for the dogs to explore and go for walks. Gillian was a lovely host, providing some treats and some essentials that we had forgotten. George, the dog, was a lovely boy when our naughty dog had a bit of an attitude towards him. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

A perfect place for those seeking a tranquil get away together. The cottage had everything you could want including a huge bath! You had but to open the bedroom curtains to have a unfettered view of the river, and nature, with a private area both out the back and down by the river side to enjoy it even further. There are plenty of walks and things to see & do locally too. Hannah was a wonderfully responsive host. We hope to stay again soon!

Beyond impressed from start to finish. We were greeted by Tony who showed us round the property, he also took time to help us to set up the fire inside which was incredibly kind! Both Tony and Ed gave us some incredible recommendations which we were really pleased we did! The cabin was spotless and the bed was the comfiest we’d ever slept in! In a great location with easy access to a variety of areas, Snowdon, Abersoch etc. The cats were all beautiful! We would highly recommend and we will definitely be back! Wow, what a find! Great trip across country and just a few miles from A55. The cottage was fantastic, just what we hoped for. Well equipped kitchen, we love cooking and made great use of the kitchen and space. Plenty of sitting room in the lounge and big dining room complete with high chair. We slept downstairs in the lovely double with private bathroom, whilst our friends with children had two bedrooms upstairs and family bathroom. The outside had a sun trap on the patio with chairs and table for our sunset drinks and the kids loved the lawns and gardens. And to top it all, BlueLion pub a gentle 500m walk down the hill. We were blessed with the weather, sat in the beer garden which was gorgeous, but I think any time of year would be fantastic at Tyn-y-Coed. Such a find, we wanted to keep it a secret!!
