Río Arriba : locations de vacances

Had a great overnight camping at Adam's place! I was thankful that I was the only person who brought their own tent because there were not many flat spaces to set up a tent. The view of the lake and surrounding mountains were fantastic, especially from the glamping side of the property. Arrival was clear and easy and the roads to arrive were very doable in a car. The shower had hot water and bathrooms were clean (other than the usual bugs that are typical in an outdoor bathroom). The hiking trails down to the stream were an extra plus! I would definitely recommend staying here!

I had a wonderful time here. Guillermo was a wonderful host who helped me a lot while I was here! I was able to grow my own cucumbers here, taste real and organic coconut, papaya, and guava. I felt so connected with the nature here on this farm and I would to have this experience again. If you are not built for the wildlife and nature then this will not be for you, I say this because I used to not like bugs. I’ve learned that we are in their territory so it makes no sense to kill them. Please respect nature if you decide to stay here 🙂.

The view was magical! Sleeping in the tent was so peaceful with only the rainforest sounds. The hike to the creek is sooooo worth it. The creek is private and has lots of small waterfalls. You can explore quite a ways. I absolutely loved staying here and wish I stayed longer. Great place for yoga, meditation, reconnecting. Also, driving around is kind of crazy so I opted for the dinner 2x one of the locals makes and it was very good.

Luis und Lula waren unglaublich herzlich und haben mir jeden Tag super Empfehlungen für kleine und größere Abenteuer rund um Puerto Rico gegeben. Highlight war eine Tour mit Lula zu einer riesigen und wunderschönen Höhle! Aber auch die Flüsse und Wasserfällle waren perfekt zum erkunden und genießen. Ich kann die Unterkznft nur wärmstens Empfehlen!

Simply put, one of the most special places I've ever stayed. The type of place that makes you want to send photos to all your friends and re-think your own life of city dwelling. The peace, green, and seclusion of Adam's place is truly unmatched. It took every ounce of strength for me to leave this place, but I'll definitely be back soon.

I absolutely enjoyed spending time at this place. The most peaceful night and morning I've had in a while. the host responded very quickly when I had a question as well. the outdoor shower was one of my favorite things but the experience of being able to hike the property was the absolute best. I would definitely recommend this stay. we brought our own tent and the hosts provided us with a list of items they recommend we bring as well as a list of places to eat and things to do in the area. we used the lists heavily and had an amazing time. Thank you so much, this has got to be one of my favorite birthdays!
