Our trip exceeded all expectations. The home was beautiful inside and comfortable with such high quality amenities. The kitchen has stocked up with any utensils and pans you'd need. The hot tub was great and had a beautiful view to look out at. This is a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this place for a small family or a small group. Riv’s Cottage is so cute and cozy. The staff was nice, everything you needed was on the Resort. I took my kids for Spring Break, we also went into town which is only 10mins away, waterparks, Arcades and good eats! If you want a home away from home check out Riv’s place, you won’t be disappointed.

Booked this place last minute and was very impressed. Host was very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and the location was a huge bonus being close to most everything I wanted to do or see. I would highly recommend this place for your next baraboo vacation.

This was my second time staying here in five years. Everything was great and as advertised. For a remote cabin, it was everything we were expecting. Some areas needed dusting, but I'm 6'7", so I could easily see areas that probably go overlooked. There was a cool cave within walking distance of the house that was advertised in their welcome binder. It took a little bit to find, adding a map or GPS coordinates would have made the hunt easier. But it was a cool experience once we found the cave entrance.

We loved loved our stay. Will definitely come back.

The place was beautiful we really enjoyed our stay here! Saw lots of wildlife within minutes of us being there! We loved that it was away from the city very peaceful very quiet. The jacuzzi was amazing adds to the ambiance for sure! Highly recommend and would certainly stay again!

We loved our getaway at this sweet cabin. it was the most kid friendly air BNB we have ever stayed at: the perfect blend of serenity and flexibility, toys and games and plastic cups, clear expectations about what is available and what is off limits, lovely decorations and not over the top or breakable, space for kiddos and for grownups. not super sound proof but nothing a white noise machine can't solve. and the best part was the opportunity to explore the woods and trails and the creek! for hours of screen free entertainment. highly recommend!

My sister, dog, and I had a great 2 night stay at the driftless trout cabin! We loved how cute the cabin was decorated inside and out. The area was secluded, quiet, and beautiful. We heard so many animals, including coyotes! My dog enjoyed going on long walks and exploring the spring that runs through the yard. Overall great stay! Many thanks, Kylee, Nola, & Prince 🐾

I can’t live this cabin more! We’ve stayed twice, brought our dog and just love the solitude and all the cleared paths. So secluded! The cabin is smallish, but incredibly comfy, great beds/bedrooms, screened porch, huge fire pit and all the necessary amenities. Stylish too! If you long for nature and solitude, this is the spot for you! Seen- a done beaver dam, bald eagles. and lots of birds. Viroqua is a 20 minute drive with a small amount of delicious places to eat & get groceries & provisions. We didn’t have a reservation for the James Beard award winning Driftless Cafe, but loved food at Maybe Lately’s! Fresh baked bread & squeezed juices. Soo good! The Co-op had natural foods & ingredients. Everyone fresh-faced and cheerful. It’s like homey, forward thinking community. Mr.G’s has great outdoor wear and friendly service. Had an outstanding Bloody Mary at Gassers’s and though we didn’t eat there, they were selling pizzas for pick-up.

Well kept place near lots of stuff we wanted to checkout. Quick response to a request. We're happy.

Beautiful, secluded cabin, clean, cozy, with everything you need for your stay

This is a comfortable place in the middle of a great trout fishing area. This makes it very convenient for us. It's close enough to stores and restaurants, yet has a country feel. We love that they accommodate and cater to our dog. We return every year and can't wait until our next stay.

The cabin was just what we needed. It was so nice and cozy for my husband and I, and the surrounded area was absolutely beautiful. Hope to stay there again in the future.

We loved staying at the water villa! The cabin was gorgeous, had incredible natural light, and was super clean and private. A great place for a few days away from everyday life.

Our family absolutely loved this place. Enough space for everything, beautiful home. The best part was the setting, quiet and peaceful. We were able to enjoy coffee outside in the morning and watch the deer in the fields. We would absolutely love to stay here again. Great recommendations and Corey left some local items for us to try. My family and I stayed at the Driftless Escape Cabin and had a wonderful time! The interior was even more beautiful in person with plenty of space for my whole family. The Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfy and they had everything you needed. The property was gorgeous with lots of open space and amazing views. We loved playing in the yard and s’mores by the fire. And even though the cabin is close to town, we still felt like we were miles away in nature and truly disconnected!!

The Hilltop cabin was the perfect place for our stay. Super cozy with all the amenities of home. The DVD and VHS selection is incredible, however, we did bring a fire stick and with a little adjustment we were able to get enough service to use the hotspot on our phones to watch sporting events on the TV. If you are looking for a peaceful, private place to unwind. This is the place. You won’t be disappointed! We will be back!!!

Molly and Brian’s cabin was super cute and secluded, perfect for a little getaway from the city! Tons of lowkey hiking, architectural hotspots (some great Frank Lloyd-Wright history — including his original gravestone!) and weird tourist traps within driving distance. This area is great for casual birdwatching and the owners even provide binoculars to help! We had a great time and will definitely be back soon!
