Relax with the whole family in Álftanes, a quiet and beautiful place with a 20 minutes drive to the City center. Álftanes is a unique area in the capital area. It is famous for its bird life, for being the home of the president of Iceland and for being the only suburb in the capital area that still feels like a country town. The house itself has a large and sheltered garden , closed of patio and the main amenities. It is suitable for small families with infants and older children.

Stay in the peaceful and charming Alftanes (Gardabaer), which we call "The countryside within the city". It is a family friendly neighborhood, we are located right between downtown Reykjavik (15 min. drive) & The Blue Lagoon (20-25 min. drive). & Kef intl. airport 30-35 mín drive. If this area is good enough for The President of Iceland to live, it probably is for you too! This is a quiet family area, and the ocean is right behind our property with beautiful views over Reykjavík.
