Rethymno : locations de vacances dans des maisons de ville

We had an incredible time at Villa Kamelia. It is a beautiful, spacious house, decorated with many flowers and plants and it had everything we might have needed. Several lovely beaches are within half an hour's drive. Supermarkets, gas stations, and restaurants are in the next town over. The rooftop terrace has a panoramic view of the countryside and the sea. There are many tracks and hiking paths in the nearby mountains. Vagelio and Katerina made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us feel at home, including welcoming us personally and leaving some food and drinks for us in the fridge. We highly recommend staying here.

Very nice house with a great atmosphere. We liked it even better than the pictures. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen that was very well equipped and had everything you needed for home cooking. We spent a lot of time on the big terrace with an astonishing mountain view! The neerby Ancient Lappa Taverna is great and the whole area has a lot of food options and historical places worth visiting. Nearest beach is 12 min in a car. Not the best beach, but there is other better options 25 min in car. Or 45 min to great beaches on the south coast (Damnoni). Eleni was a great host and easy to communicate with. Would definately come back.

Wir haben wundervolle, ruhige und entspannte Tage im Haus Elsa verbracht. Wir fühlten uns gleich wie zuhause und haben den tollen Garten, mit den vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten genossen. Der Blick in die Sterne am Abend war wundervoll. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, die Lage in Pitsidia prima, wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder. Danke von Herzen

C’était un gîte magnifique avec un côté très typique rustique et en même temps très bien équipé et généreusement bien fournit de tout le nécessaire pour des voyageurs, draps, serviettes produits d’entretien… La vue de la terrasse est magnifique, le cadre de montagne nous a beaucoup plu, nous y avons ramassé des noix, figues… le bonheur. Merci à ces supers hôtes de nous avoir si bien accueilli avec un petit vin dans le frigo et un petit déjeuner pour notre arrivée !

We can’t say enough about Francisca! She was beyond helpful and proactive. The home is clean, close to everything and we’d definitely stay again. She is a true “host” - there were wine, pastries, snacks and fresh fruit when we arrived and it was much appreciated. She answered every question we had quickly and kindly. We highly recommend this home as it was clean and very comfortable.

The little village of Plouti is an amazing and unique location. I wish we could have stayed longer. There was a plumbing issue during our stay, but Aris was responsive and did what he could to get it sorted out. There is the added bonus for cat lovers, many friendly cats can be found in the neighborhood.

Maria is amazing and very helpful🫶🏻 We received a lot of local recommendations, during all our staying Maria was helping us with local questions. She met us very warm☀️ When we arrived we found a lot of drinks for us and our children in the fridge and fruits, the bootle of real greek olive oil also was prepared - it’s so cuuuute ☺️ villa was prepared with all needed staff including the crib for the baby and things for the shower, a lot of towels is a big plus. Villa is absolutely new and comfortable, we were staying here with our friends, in total 4 adults, 3 children and 2 infants. Big terrace with the view to the Olive Garden and also you could see the sea (not a big sea view), big parking area with fruit trees, and one more terrace in front of the house and also a small terrace for one room! Air conditioning in each room is very comfortable! I highly recommend you this villa for your amazing vacations! Thank you so much, Maria and Nektarios, for our staying, we will be back ☀️☀️☀️

The space was much bigger than what we needed, but it was in a great location, and clearly one of the best places you can rent in Old Town Rethymno. The house was very painstakingly restored. The lower level bedroom, kitchen and bathroom worked very well for us. The upper two bedrooms and bathroom are spacious and full of light. The outdoor area with the pool, large dining table, and pool side sitting made for a great place to relax and enjoy the mornings and evenings, when the temperature and humidity are more manageable. We had just landed from a long flight and we were pleasantly surprised to find the fridge stocked with local cheeses, ham, milk, yogurt, butter, eggs, olives, orange juice, chocolate, water bottles and even beers! The kitchen had all the utensils, and necessary cooking supplies! The food lasted us the whole stay, really nice! Everything was clearly labeled, and we didn’t have to buy anything. The house really felt like home, in a word: “wow”! Thanks Angeliki!

Un posto magnifico. Abbiamo soggiornato in 7 e siamo rimasti tutti sbalorditi dalla bellezza di questa villa. La ristrutturazione è incredibile e i servizi al suo interno ancora di più. In assoluto uno dei posti più belli che abbia mai trovato su Airbnb. La jacuzzi è stata una rivelazione sopratutto a fine giornata dopo un lungo tour delle spiagge di Agia Palagia. Al nostro arrivo l’host ci ha aspettato all’inizio di Kato Asides per mostrarci la via per il parcheggio per poi accoglierci calorosamente in questa splendida villa. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno offerto anche del Rakki, vino e frutta, sicuramente un’attenzione al cliente favolosa. I letti erano comodissimi e i bagni molto spaziosi. Consiglio di andare a mangiare al ristorante che si trova in cima al paese, per noi è stata la cosa che ha reso perfetto il nostro soggiorno a Kato Asides. Unica cosa negativa è stata aver soggiornato solo due notti, la prossima volta pianificheremo di starci almeno una settimana.

Thank you for the lovely and clean apartment. Very nice comfortable plush pillow and bed, we had a good night sleep Hotel quality amenities provided. Starvos brought us to the apartment and gave explanation on Aircon, equipment, switches of the house. Driver Nicholas who picked us up to airport is very friendly. Apartment is very near to the old town, walking distance to many of the place of interest. Overall, fantastic stay and professional excellent service by the team. Highly Recommended!

Le logement est magnifique, très bien decoré, en plein centre de la vieille ville, très proche des commerces et des restaurants. La plage est largement accessible à pied. Si nous revenons un jour à Chania, nous reviendront chez Michalis. Encore merci pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse.

10m from the beach is not an understatement! In a beautiful small village, just a few meters from one of the beaches, convenience store, and activities such as restaurants, boat rentals and diving school. The house is very pretty and well set up: a shower outside, beautiful view on the village from the roof top terrace, with a dining table and lounge chairs. Finally the house was comfortable even in the hot weather. There were a few games that entertained the kids as well. The host was very responsive. We had a couple of questions which got answered within minutes. They reached out during the week as well to make sure everything was going great. 20 minutes drive to Melidoni with more activities: cave visit, productions of olive oil and honeys where you can get a tour, and a ReptIsland with 40 types of reptiles. We loved those visits as everyone was very friendly and clearly loved what they were doing, and sharing it. In the end, we would definitely come back!

we recently stayed here for a family vacation, the place was lovely and well-maintained, offering everything we needed without any issues (we even got brand new coffee machine). The house was amazing not only because of its intact history but thanks to all of the essentials, like towels, bedding, well-equipped kitchen, soap, etc. The house was very clean and the communication with the host was very smooth and pleasant. Overall, we had a wonderful time at this Airbnb and highly recommend it.

Séjour exceptionnel ! Première fois que nous nous sentons aussi bien dans un logement de vacances que dans notre maison ! Nous tenions à remercier chaleureusement Petros et Popi pour l'accueil qu’ils nous ont réservé lors de notre séjour dans le logement. Tout était vraiment parfait ! La maison était exactement comme décrit, très propre, bien équipé et idéalement situé. Nous nous y sommes sentis comme chez nous. Merci également pour votre réactivité et votre disponibilité tout au long de notre séjour, cela a vraiment fait la différence. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre passage et nous n'hésiterons pas à recommander votre logement à nos proches. Et merci infiniment pour votre gentillesse ! La maison est juste exceptionnelle. L emplacement est central avec plusieurs excellentes tavernes à proximité. La maison était super propre et parfaitement équipée et le jardin est un gros plus surtout pour les enfants. Très proche du port mais dans une ruelle assez à l’écart pour avoir le calme. Et enfin Yiannis est très réactif,gentil et disponible. Nous étions 2 adultes et 3 enfants et nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Je recommande +++

We spent the month of April at Maria's Villa in Malaxa. Our goal was remote working from a beautiful location, that we could also make road trips on the weekends and drive into Chania some evenings for dinner. All of this worked out perfectly. The Internet connection was speedy, The house itself is a beautifully built and appointed traditional stone house. There are 3 balconies that allow you to choose sun or shade at any hour of the day. Maria was responsive to any needs or questions. Her parents are like my own greek Grandparents, showering us with homemade foods and useful info.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison refaite avec goût. L’accès en voiture n’est pas possible directement au pied de la maison mais l’hôte a été de très bons conseils pour se garer à proximité. La maison est sur 2 niveaux entièrement refaits et très propre. Nous n’avons passé qu’une seule nuit puisque nous étions en transit vers l’Est de l’île. Nous avons passé une très bonne soirée dans un restaurant très convivial conseillé par l’hôte. L’hôte a été toujours disponible et se propose de nous rapporter un vêtement oublié en partant. Tres serviable. Merci !

Amazing host! The best one I have ever had. Very nice location- Greek village. Close to everything with the car: 10 mins to the beach, 20 mins to Heraclio. Only with car! Mountain roads The house was also nice, enough space for 3 people. Everything was perfect! Kassandra was really helpful. Would come back!
